It's a blessing that the metal community and basically every sub genre of it feels strongly about the environment and hate those destroying it. A phenomenally shot video with a banger of a song.
A lot of these kids today, like the thrash bands in the 80's, are products of the punk scene as much as the metal scene. The statement that this work of art makes is so valuable to this past week’s events in America... the founder of the No DAPL/Dakota Access Pipeline resistance movement, Ladonna Brave Bull Allard, passed away a few days ago. Her activism, her appreciation for Mother Earth, and her admirably fiery articulation in defense of our lands necessarily reminding us that we are extremely blessed to have been bestowed these gifts that surround us and sustain us - we must not let her fight die with her, and we must not ever forget. The Biden Administration has green lighted the continuation of the DAPL project, and they made this decision just a few days after Brave Bull had passed on (this honestly made my blood boil and upset me to a level of unsightly sorrows) so now this means we must struggle on once again, we must do our best to maintain grace under pressure, and we must unite to fight and preserve the livelihoods of our people. Any other North Dakotans here? I was at the protest grounds for a few days, it was intense. The only bad thing about the protestors was the amount of garbage they left behind, which is toxic to the land. On a side note, why do we have reservations still? It's been 150 years. And the morale on a reservation (at least the ones around here) are very low and the suicide rate among the youth is ridiculously high. Incorporate the Native Americans into the rest of society, put an end to reservations
Americans tried the "incorporate Native Americans into society" route and it turned into brainwashing. Ripping native children from their families and traditions to make them more 'Murican.
Paul James my mom lives a few miles from the pipeline. Her friend was a police officer on duty there. The protesters roll up in expensive ass vehicles that were paid for by the oil companies because they gave them money to build previous pipelines. The natives AGREED to. This time, they weren't going to pay them all that money. So everyone has a fit and blows things out of proportion. Selfish people.
Who the fuck are you people hearing this shit from??? When the fuck did we bring in shiny fancy vehicles? Using fancy and expensive shit? Throwing away our trash on the ground all of a sudden you fucking believe this guy? The fuck is wrong with you guys have some fucking decency

That Gojira influence. Lamb of God' - Reclamation. Chief Seattle's Letter to the U.S. Government.
Random thoughts some might say, but all are interconnected.
So this song was absolutely epic when I heard it years ago. This is the first I've ever seen the video and actually looked at the lyrics. Even more epic now.
Watching this again and taling it all in brings a tear to the eye. So sad what we are doing to the planet and each other.
love the gojira touch in their music
Back here again after hearing the news that the pipeline is being suspended, slowly but surely getting there
Any other North Dakotans here?
Note how nobody is talking about Trudeau doing the same thing as Trump only worst because he is a liberal and that doesn't fit the narrative of the media, bought and paid for by the corporations who hate Trump because he won't let them outsource for higher profit margins anymore.
North Dakota born and raised glad i found this song
Man gave me goosebumps the whole video
Musically not exactly my cup of beer, but putting it out there for the native americans, you've got my respect....
I don´t like deathcore, but the message and video are interesting, we must go and help to this people.
Somewhat songs like Gojira
This will go down as one of if not the most powerful music videos ever created
3:09 - to the end is so freakin' awesome.
