Thanks for the video! The 2020 Silverado is pretty much the same. Mine did have a guard panel that had to be removed to get to the screw behind the door handle.
Hey man i just seen this comment. Yes it is the same removal. If it's the same style door panel. If you dont have that trim I took off then no you only have 1 screw behind door panel and two on the bottom of the door.
To remove window switches do I still need to remove the panel, im modifying my 2020 gmc sierra 1500 sle ,adding rear power window, need to add new switches

Is it not possible to remove the 7mm behind the handle and pop the top back to remove the sweep?
Its possible but not as easy as the 2013-2018.
Can I take just the speaker grille off just to replace the speaker ?
I believe the grill is permanent and a part of the door panel from the back side. I'm sure it's like plastic rivets or melted into the plastic.
You took the door panel off to tint the windows smh 🤦♂️
