i did probably 50 royales on the rail on my small local park today. sit on your cuffs changed my royale game forever man!! not only that but my back farv and back unity are also looking alot better with the same method!
also learned soul 360 out today as well. heard a tip to jump on the grind and have your arms on the opposite side that your want to spin. sure enough i was spinnin a 3 out no problem. oddly enough i cant even 3 flat ground without getting off axis.. but it feel more like a 270 since the front foot is already turned 90* towards the direction im spinning
yeah i have to work on my style and comfort again i use to be so more flexy when i was younge i think i need yoga and gymnastics in my life for rollerblading
Dude your back royals are ridiculous I’ll never forget your pro ass doing that super long back royal downtown Nola I’m really glad to see your channel really growing your content is the shit keep up the good work dude
really appreciate this video, it's just the little tweaks that make the moves look so much nicer, like sitting into that back royale. lovely stuff cheers boss
Excellent video thanks for sharing these simple grinds that look steezy. For some reason i do my Royale one way but find it easier to do the back royale or true mizou switch. Anyone why this is happens? Is switch my true side?
I know you have mentioned it before in other videos, but what orange wheels are you rockn? amazing content BTW!! Just bought those same skates because of your videos!! getting back into skating after 15 years not skating!! Literally just ordered them!!!
Loving the channel mate! Great content and very wise and straight to the point, no bs! Great stuff! Your blading is also on point so that´s a plus! Also, also, the trick list and your opinnion o what looks good is the same as mine! Earned yourself a subscriber, keep up the amazing work!
Damn that Jon Ortiz science lol, also I never thought about the true mizu insight, great heads up. An Alley-oop unity is a frontside/backside trick. The Savannah must have a 270 to alley-oop unity, typically landing in a backside position. Please check any and all Savannah references with Master Billy Prislin.
Sorry. You've been outvoted nowadays. There is no such thing as an alley-oop groove trick. It is now called a front Savannah, because it makes more sense. Same reason we don't have to specify a "forward pornstar" anymore.
@ 1:10 my boys and I would call those Louie Royales because how nice Louie Zamora made them look. @ 3:36 Yes I am an dinosaur!! ALLEY-OOP UNITY!!! Also I take offense! My Soyales look pretty good! (just playing) You're right though, Jon Ortiz did have a fucking nice Soyale. Good vid! Subbed!!!
😂 I agree with everything you just said but you forgot to say it’s perfectly acceptable to warm up with all the slightly less desirable ways of doing the trick as it’s quite difficult to just one bang a true miz 3 out.. The ao soul is actually a pretty hard trick, especially if your not 💯 on the soul foot... The main point should be, have a few warm up attempts to get your eye in and gauge the obstacle. Then when going for the one.. nothing but 💯 commitment and maximum effort will do 👊🔨💪😂
Shows how subjective skating really is. The front Savannah is pretty damn easy for me, but my feet just can't bend into a top soul. My go-to style move would be back farv to fakie lookback.
Haha, Unity talked to me not Savana ! I'm a dinosaur I guess. I used to blade from my 11 to 16 so 20 years ago, just ordered a pair of USD today and looking randomly at some video on youtube. Can't wait to get back on it !
yo! i see why you dig skateclub. You been saying what Im saying now. lol this video made a big fan. Ima dinosaur as I say AO unity and True Back Unity lol don't care. I agreed with like 98% which is rare. I feel.. A true miz with the hips open rewind to forward garnish out can be super stee. I also never thought topsoul as a back Royce like that. that's how ima tell my new homies! I feel like a straight up soul grind is the best one grind to know. Its timeless and can be done fairly safe on any obstacle at any time , anywhere you go.
Really love this video but I'd have to say that 1) reverting out of a tru mizou is the only way I don't like that trick landed (same with 99% of reverts out of kind grinds) and 2) I heavily prefer the look of soyales over AO souls
Thanks for watching. The AO soul thing is very much an opinion. I think some people make them look really good, but I don’t think mine look good so I avoid them. Curious what you mean by revert. It’s one of those terms that gets grey in blading. I would consider a revert a 180 slide on the ground (THPS style), other people use it interchangeably with rewind, and others use it to mean the opposite spin of rewind. (The one I marked as gross).
The mizou, really? I always thought they looked so goofy! As well as sweatstances & kindgrinds. Btw blading has some really silly trick names! I still love it though 👍

Hard to say without seeing you try one. But the most common reason for slipping out on a royale is not locking both feet at the same time. Also, make sure you're locking boot down right from the start, don't frontside/backside then rock your foot over.
Love the list! Really enjoying your channel. I’m just starting back at 32. I only skated for a year or two in my teens, but for some reason the only topside trick I could do was an alleyoup topside porn star. It was just as easy as a soul grind to me, But looked so cool.
Welcome back! Thanks for the support. Skating is funny like that. I have a few tricks that feel better “switch” than they do with my dominant foot. One of those weird grey area things. Would be reasonable to call it switch.
