@@ananddaga141 That's correct and rightly pointed out. Everything has a probability, so that probability was not 100%. So how to use that data / analysis? If Nifty was trading close to lowest point of the month then we can aggressively go for short trades to capture that in the monthly expiry week. If Nifty is near 25000 then it's clear that we discard that data point for this month.
Vishnu, a stupid question- when you say you will switch over the August positions to later months, it means, you need to book the loss in August and open a new position in September or later, right?
@@kkashokhere 2 things here. My hedges are of Aug and main positions are of Sep. Just before Aug monthly expiry, I will have to switch my hedges to Sep month end or Sep weekly. But I think you are asking about the core positions which are of Sep. Yes, if it's in loss at the time I decide to switch then I will book and enter Oct positions. However, I will show the recovery of any loss booked and also turn out to make 10% in the next set of positions.

I think shorter term mean reversion is due now. Thoughts?
That's correct! Can take 1 or 2 days but 100+ point fall is required on Nifty
Even if nifty new makes ATH i don't think it will sustain. Let's see what next expecting a fall sooner!
