The soldier who questions Princess is Tyler Davis. It's later revealed that he gets fired for this causing him to go a little crazy. He's then disappeared by the Commonwealth's evil governor Pamela Milton, but is found by Princess and Ezekiel in Pam's forced labor camp at Outpost 22, formerly known as Alexandria. After they retake Alexandria, Tyler joins the gang in going after Pam, but he's killed in a shootout with Pam and her forces.
If I were to survive (I totally wouldn’t) I’d probably dress up zombies like that too. I would probably keep my hair blue for as long as possible and wear a fuzzy coat but I wouldn’t be outright reckless.
But I’m physically disabled with mobility issues so I’m 100% zombie food as soon as my medication runs out.

Yeah that's the Commonwealth soldiers. A lot of people complain about the Stormtrooper armor, but you can really blame Robert Kirkman himself for that one rather than the show's writers.

There are the guys from the Commonwealth. They're actually from where the good guys are trying to go. As it turns out, what happened is that Eugene's communications with Stephanie (whose real name is Max Mercer) got intercepted and it was just too dangerous for her to come. Her brother, General Michael Mercer of the Commonwealth Army, protected her from discovery, but Lance Hornsby sent these guys to find whoever she was communicating with. Eugene only learns about that after he finally meets the REAL Stephanie and she explains to him her side of things.

@@stephandharley99 Uh sort of. Lance Hornsby takes over all three communities after his failed attempt to assassinate Maggie, but he's defeated with the help of Pamela and General Michael Mercer. Mercer's a good guy: he's an ex-Marine who ends up dating Princess and he quickly befriends Daryl and Rosita. He ends up siding with them against Pam. Pam supposedly intended to then return the communities to them, but Lance organized a riot in which her son Sebastian died, caused partially by Eugene. Pam had been making hundreds of people disappear for a long time, she just added everyone from the communities that was in the Commonwealth to that list. A lot of people moved there after they made first contact with the Commonwealth: it's a modern city of sorts with all sorts of amenities. It's actually a pretty good place, it's just got a corrupt government.
Now, Daryl and Carol manage to escape the roundup and break Lance out to find where their friends are being taken. Once he leads them to a supply train that they can follow, Lance is finally killed by Carol when he tries to attack them. During the trip, Maggie, Rosita and Gabriel manage to escape and together they rescue Connie and trick someone into revealing that Outpost 22 is actually a renamed Alexandria. Negan and Ezekiel team up together to form a prisoner rebellion against the sadistic Warden. They get caught, but Ezekiel leads a human wall between Negan and the Warden when he's about to be executed. Ezekiel convinces most of the soldiers to stand down. For the most part, these guys are just doing their jobs, they're not bad people. The Warden tries to escape with Kelly as a hostage, but Daryl sneaks up behind him and takes him down: he, Connie, Maggie and Carol were able to sneak in through the sewers. The Warden is subsequently fed to a walker by Rosita.
They then use the train to return to the Commonwealth where Eugene has been saved from execution by General Mercer who is already gathering troops to go against Pamela. While things go drastically wrong, Pamela is defeated when Daryl and Gabriel convince her own troops to turn against her. She tries to commit suicide by having a Zombie Lance bite her (Daryl and Carol didn't bother to finish him off so that he wouldn't turn), but Maggie takes him out after Negan points out that prison is a fate worse than death for someone like Pamela.

God, princess is one of the most annoying characters on the show
Yeah, but at least she's useful in the end. Princess later admits that she had nearly gone insane from loneliness at this point.
