Geri sang on the album version. I don't know why they gave Victoria her verse for the single version but maybe because did not have any solo in Wannabe and Geri featured heavily on that. I think i also heard that Geri struggled singing 2 become 1 as it did not really suit her voice so maybe that's why,. She sang it just fine in 2019 on tour though.
So many kids at the time, running around singing the lyric wanna make love to you, i need some love like i never needed love before., would lyrics like this happen today, probably, but not on a group aimed at kids.
The children, kids find them lovable like their dolls, cartoons or superheroes. They didn't aimed for a kids audience lol like me I grew up still loving them.
