Beware! Here is my experience with Wondershare. So I had some corrupted video files that two different recovery companies tried to recover to no avail. As a last ditch effort I decided to give Wondershare a shot. They said that they had a 7 day free trial, so I thought it’s worth a try. I downloaded the software and ran a known video file that would not open at all using Quick Time or Premiere Pro. The software asked me to use the advanced tools which involved adding a good video file with the same video settings. After running the file through the software said that it had a successful recovery. Great! this could be the answer I thought. Well it wouldn’t let me view the video file without entering my Visa. So I thought that we had a 7 day free trial so I did. When I opened the file I was not recovered successfully. It was pixelated, glitchy and unusable. So I contacted support and asked for my money back. They were slow to respond and instead of issuing a credit made it difficult to get my $$. Long story short. This program did not work for me. Many emails back and forth. Just refund my money for crying out loud. Matt

The electricity blackout corrupted my files. I tried to restore it with trial Recoverit but after scan the program asked me to buy it. I was afraid that the more time passed, the less chance I would have to restore a corrupted file. So I bought a Pro Recoverit in Pro and... it didn't work. Yes, it scanned everything and created a folder for restored files, but they are still unreadable. How can I verify a program before buying it if the trial version is not a real trial? It is a mockery. A lost of time, nerves and money.
Once I paid for it and given a Code to sign in It scanned my External Hard Drive again for another 20 some hours, because it was almost 4TB on it...after it found of my files I pressed Recover button and it took another 20 hour plus to have all my files back , videos, photos,... you name it, It even found files that I deleted by mistake and thought I lost it forever, for the price honestly is nothing compared to all the data I had back, actually every single file ...very important is to have another empty External Hard Drive to transfer all the files to recover, do not use the same Hard Drive to save it....I am very happy to use this RecoverIt product, I can assume this product has been improved in this 2023 year, we are in April and worked for me

I just finished editing the vid then it crashed so it created a back-up file so I deleted the file and opened filmora and see the recent files and but when I deleted it it also deleted the bak-up file and raged quit so I tested my theory and it is possible. Worked amazingly for me. I had to restore my PC and accidentally deleted some python files I worked on for 2 weeks. I downloaded WonderShare Recoverit and I was skeptical first because they don't have good reviews and everyone is bashing them, calling them a scam, etc... But I noticed that all the reviews were outdated and also the people recovering mostly talked about media files like videos and such. So , I gave them a shot, paid like $80, scanned my PC, found all my files from my old Windows installation, recovered in 10 minutes. So personally for me, amazing experience. But I did not have any media to recover, just a whole bunch of Python files. I am probably going to buy the software permanently!
I bought a WD External HDD 3 years ago and I stored all of my personal memories and data on it. IDK how the HDD got corrupt. A month ago when I plugged my HDD into my PC, it connected and showed normal on 'This PC' but the read speed was too low. Like if I try to open a photo it takes 5 to 10 minutes approx to open. And when I try to transfer some files to another drive it showed a speed of around 700kbps, not more than this. But the write speed was normal. Now when I plug my HDD into my laptop it is appearing, but it is showing it's loading in 'This PC'. I waited for the loading for around 3 hours but the loading is not complete. So I end up unable to access my HDD. I tried to access my HDD by plugging in many other PCs, but it shows corrupted on some PC or showing the same problem as my PC is showing. I have nearly 100k photos and 10k+ videos. I am thinking to format my HDD and recover the data by Wondershare Recoverit paid one. Can I get my data 100% back?
I had a terrible experience with this program. Incredibly confusing. Registration code they gave did not work, and was over 20 characters long. Trying to get refund..It is very confusing... I cant believe I threw away 60 bucks for nothing. All I wanted was to recover very important files, Id gladly pay 60 dollars for one specific file I spent weeks working on. I've had this same issue with all recovery software I've tried.. I reformatted a drive accidentally.. and after recovery could show all thumbnails and file names.. but couldn't recover any files completely.. the best it could do is create a super small file (assuming based on a thumbnail that's stored on the drive) odd though as I never added any other files to the harddrive.. so I would say all Recovery software is a bit of a miss (and even a bit shady as they'll show the thumbnails before buying.. which makes you feel very positive about buying it) if you did anything other than just delete a file... you're probably not getting it back.

Worked for me....didn't have time to try the cracked versions.....a bit expensive but i needed my files(stuck in a RAW HDD)....and now i know why the FBI is first looking for hard drives.....Recycle bin is a JOKE.....ALL you search, save or open stay in HDD....
The trial software did not work as advertised. All that it "recovered" was the existing software on my hard drive; completely ignoring the supposed filters that I set. That is; set to Deleted and RAW for my camera. I tried using their chat and I got no response from them at all although the chat window said that I was number one in line.

Amazingly this RecoverIt Software helped me years of working for throwing it in the in the garbage, I did hesitate at the beginnig after reading all the reviews , but I gave it a chance , it did worked out for me....I had a external WD with almost 4TB of data that I unplugged by mistake from my Laptop It could not opent it anymore(also had a password protected)...I tried several venues to no luck, however I downloaded RecoverIt, the free trial, it scanned my external hard drive for about a day, found my files, so I had the options to buy the software online in 3 differents plans, by month, 1 year, or unlimited...I chose the 1 month plan at 79.99 Dollars + tax, once I did all of that,

2023: I would say consider this after reading his 2022 update....... They're asking you to pay for something almost nobody can guarantee.....buy yet they are sure enough to ask for money for their service because of how high quality it is. As stated on the website and even on this video if you make some changes or save any files it will over written or replace the deleted files and theres a big tendency that it will come as recovered corrupted files.
I am mad when they didn't tell us what it's the behavior over accidental deleted file! And worst, they tell us to back up our files yes but how about our actions on computer? It counts too! We could have use another drive to save the data but no! We aren't prepare for this situation and my files wouldn't be recovered! I have been waited month for a data recovery tool. Absolutely useless. Couldn't find a deleted video that had just been deleted with nothing else subsequently written to hard drive. There is no registration option! To recover a file it forces you to log on to your account and then tells you to buy the software again. I love Wondershare Filmora and their Video Converter, but this program fails in every way.

Avoid. They once asked me to share with them corrupted family photos and videos to see if they can solve the issue with their so-called engineers when I asked for a refund (which they dodged my request for other possible solutions). Now I don't know what has happened to my photos that they have on their side. Nothing about their private policy of customer files was metioned by them during that processes. Wondershare is a very unprofessional company. They care more about the money than innovation for truthful customer satisfaction. They almost gave me a heart attack when I asked for a refund and had to argue and even sue them to give my money back. I even used PayPal because their company sounds very sketchy even with their annoying ads on social media spamming me at times. They have a lot of false claims.
I installed this software and paid for it to recover data from 2tb external HD. It took a day and half to grind out all sectors of data.When it was finished, I check marked all the files I wanted recovered. When I pressed RECOVER, guess happened? Another window opened expecting me to pay EVEN MORE MONEY! Explain that! tried communicating with Wondershare NO RESPONSE!
I have to pay them a yearly fee?! Uh, no thank you. I'll look elsewhere, especially since all of these software's basically do the exact same thing, and always have, even back to the 90's.
This software is a scam. I paid 110 Euros to learn that the basic version does nothing. I opened chat, and I was advised to to pay 50 Euros more to upgrade to "deep scan". It turned out to be a "deep scam". Again nothing. I tried the fix corrupted videos "feature", it asked for a similar video file so that it can match the specs. to correct those videos. What? Is that a joke? The task was to recover videos from an SD card that had NO rewrites over them. Could not be more simple. Result? 160 Euros stolen. Here is the best way to recover lost data, MAKE ONLINE, and OFFLINE copies. My data which wasn't really "that important" is gone, but the life lesson is very much appreciated. Now, I will reinstall the whole OSX to remove all that scam software that asked for all permissions. Stay away, and MAKE backups. Turning on the time machine (OSX) asap doesn't hurt either.

Sir im afraid of using this any recovery apps cause i have many own x videos of my x gfs it is posible that they can hack or copy or save to their system if i used this or any recovery data pc apps plss reply anyone knows? Need your opinion about this matter guyz
Avoid. They once asked me to share with them corrupted family photos and videos to see if they can solve the issue with their so-called engineers when I asked for a refund (which they dodged my request for other possible solutions). Now I don't know what has happened to my photos that they have on their side. Nothing about their private policy of customer files was metioned by them during that processes. Wondershare is a very unprofessional company. They care more about the money than innovation for truthful customer satisfaction. They almost gave me a heart attack when I asked for a refund and had to argue and even sue them to give my money back. I even used PayPal because their company sounds very sketchy even with their annoying ads on social media spamming me at times. They have a lot of false claims.
"USB used space 0 bytes available space 0 bytes available" this software recovered hundred of MP3s.
I installed this software and paid for it to recover data from 2tb external HD. It took a day and half to grind out all sectors of data.When it was finished, I check marked all the files I wanted recovered. When I pressed RECOVER, guess happened? Another window opened expecting me to pay EVEN MORE MONEY! Explain that! tried communicating with Wondershare NO RESPONSE!

The program doesn't work at all? Recovering files is always going to be hit and miss.
Why is it so damn slow? When it finishes, I click to a file and it freezes. I paid for this?!

This software is a scam. I paid 110 Euros to learn that the basic version does nothing. I opened chat, and I was advised to to pay 50 Euros more to upgrade to "deep scan". It turned out to be a "deep scam". Again nothing. I tried the fix corrupted videos "feature", it asked for a similar video file so that it can match the specs. to correct those videos. What? Is that a joke? The task was to recover videos from an SD card that had NO rewrites over them. Could not be more simple. Result? 160 Euros stolen. Here is the best way to recover lost data, MAKE ONLINE, and OFFLINE copies. My data which wasn't really "that important" is gone, but the life lesson is very much appreciated. Now, I will reinstall the whole OSX to remove all that scam software that asked for all permissions. Stay away, and MAKE backups. Turning on the time machine (OSX) asap doesn't hurt either.
