- Snapdragon has introduced two advanced laptop processors, the X Plus and X Elite, challenging Intel, AMD, and Apple’s M3 chips. The X Elite is touted as the most potent and efficient Windows on ARM laptop processor. The X Plus offers up to 37% faster performance and up to 54% reduced power consumption compared to previous models. Both processors feature a leading 45 TOPS-capable NPU, making it the fastest in laptop processors. These chips are expected to be available in laptops by mid-2024.

Hey I have a secret about mobile phone companies.
They got efficient and even a lot smaller ICes but they never execute a better system for cooling.
And you know that heat is the most dangerous threat to the IC
But Intel and AMD are for computers, their reputation is all saved by cooling systems.
Marketing karna alag hai aur actual mai deliver karna alag especially in the PC industry. Only time will tell whether Qualcomm cracks or just puts a dent in the PC industry.

I desperately want to buy new laptop because my current laptop is of Intel 7th Gen. But I'm waiting for these X Elite chip to come out, want to check if they are really more power efficient then M3 and Core Ultra series.

They will not be more efficient than M series chips from Apple! Simply because Apple controls the whole ecosystem unlike Windows, where Microsoft is the owner. Also Windos will never be that smooth or stable etc... like Mac!
Also X Elite has only 136GB/s against M3 with 150GB/s bandwidth, remember M1 & M2 have 200GB/s.
I waiting for energy (battery) sufficient, smooth processing and browsing, 4K video rendering and sharing and also adobe software and application handling Chip design like apple M2 and M3 chip in budget 50000rs laptop.

Maybe you are taking about intel i3 3rd gen. There' isn't any 13 3rd gen proseccor. And there will not in that price. Cause i3 3rd gen is 10 years ago launched and after so many years price had dropped to that price. I'm damn sure that price of there chip's will not near to that proseccor.😅

Lol, you know nothing kid. Go home. You've just learned the word "optimized" and based your entire opinions based on that. Xelite is entering into an entirely new domain for Microsoft which is ARM. Intel doesn't even have an ARM chip for Microsoft, forget being optimized 😂. The only ARM chips currently market available are the Apple M series. Microsoft hasn't even finished building ARM Windows yet. Intel and x86 are done and finished.
