Nina Cried Power is a MUST.
So cool you got to Hozier. Try his video of To Be Alone live in Kilkenny.
His entire debut album is a legit masterpiece. He’s easily the most underrated artist of our lifetime. His PEN, though, man.
His fucking PEN.
This man has never made a bad song, pick anything from his catalog and I guarantee you'll love it. Hope you react to more of him!
Hozier is really the only artist I can say that about, but man it’s true
Hozier is a complete VIBE! LOVE him. He writes all his own music and there are often literary references and most songs have a message or social commentary to them.
Yes, you can start with Take Me to Church (which you have probaby heard and maybe didn't know it), but his catalog is very rich with gems. He leans gospel at times. One of my personal favorites is with the legendary Mavis Staples called "Nina Cried Power" (2018) from his EP and also on Wastland Baby.
Really any song of his is a banger. Cherry Wine (about domestic violence), Work Song, Shrike (it's a type of bird and the song is haunting), Eat Your Young (about how young people are so screwed in today's society), and more.
His cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water filmed in a empty stadium during COVID is magical.
I'm sure someone will tell you, but he's from Ireland. He has recordings of a few traditional Irish songs that are stunning.
Definitely check out more Hozier!!
Hozier is amazing. So many good songs. Try "Cherry Wine", "Run", "Sunlight", "Talk" or really anything. His lyrics are poetic fire.💙
Love Hozier, From Eden, Jackie and Wilson, Work Song, Cherry Wine, Someone New, Movement, Dinner and Diatribes, Shrike, NFWMB, Moments Silence, Francesca, De Selby (part2) Swan Upon Leda, Blood Upon the Snow, Northern Attitude with Noah Kahan, and He features n Maren Morris's The Bones. Plus ALL the songs others have listed. As for genre.. blues inspired, folk, VERY story telling he doesn't do shallow and meaningless. Can't wait to see him perform this summer!!
Yeeeeeeeeeessssss!!!! Oh, you will not be disappointed!
Hozier is.. folk, rock, blues, Irish.

Their are so many incredible songs from Hozier is unreal but especially his first album and the EP that followed for me are some of the best of all time. I truly hope you do a lot dive into his music and see if will change you as it has done with so many people ❤🎉❤
Hozier ... Work Song... so good
Last night my 8yr old son was chatting about death and said he wasn't scared to die because he knows he will go to heaven, he's scared of forgetting this life 😢 I balled like a baby at forgetting my kids and then played this very song on repeat all day. It helped so much with the eyebball leakage. Lyrical masterpiece.
So glad you discovered this amazing artist. His new album Unreal Unearth is a masterpiece. Great reaction. 👏
Movement (Live at the Current), To Be Alone (Live in Kilkenny), Work Song, Sunlight, Nina Cried Power, Take Me to Church - all great songs!
Yesss!! I’m here forever for more hozier reactions!
Hozier is an artist in the real sense of the word. I am 💯% sure you will love his song “Nina Cried Power” with the LEGENDARY Mavis Staples joining him. This one was good - but “Nina Cried Power” will take you to church (pun intended)….it is 🔥 🔥 🔥
Really recommend you reaction to Movement - Live at the Current. Maybe the most soulful live performance I've heard from him.
I love your channel and just subscribed!
I love Hozier!

His assigned genre is Alternative Rock that was the category he was placed in when his song Take me to church should have won song of the year over the more cynically campaigned Sam Smyth tune. But his voice is a blend of Soul, traditional Irish , classic choral, and rock. He can sing ANYTHING, and is pretty handy on the guitar, especially the Gretch Epiphone Baritone guitar.
His voice is....not of this world. Every album has been a masterpiece of storytelling.
Love him! He’s from Ireland and he and I share a birthday (which happens to be St. Patty’s Day) you should definitely check out more!!!
Or if you want to do something a bit out there, a lyric video for Blood Upon the Snow, which he did for video game God of War: Ragnarok. It’s incredibly beautiful and haunting.
Yay first!!! New sub 🎉
Check out his songs “Take me to church” and “better love” … my faves
Irish Gold.COYBIG COYGIG.

Thank you for inspiring me to be a UA-cam I am almost to 50 subs and made a penny 😊😊
This really isn't his best. I hope you try more of his video's like "Work song."
