A lot of people don't want to deal with cps because of the way they seem to discriminate. Cps are suppose to be there for the best interest's of the children but they don't alway's act fairly, because of this people are scared to get them involved.
100% I got my daughter taken away over absurd reasons. But I'm one hell of a mother. I have supervised visits. and my supervisor even tells me she doesn't understand why she was taken away from me. I'm such a good mother.
You’re so right! CPS was called on my parents and they left us there. In the home I was abused in, watching my dad do drugs and drink away all our money. I ate once a day and sometimes once every other day. It wasn’t until I was in the hospital from malnourishment that anything was done. What was done you might ask? My parents moved us in with my grandparents and stopped doing drugs for a year. Then it started again. CPS is a fucking joke!

This has nothing to do with this story but when I watch these kind of shows about abuse I think about my childhood because my dad used to whoop me and leave welps on my legs and one time he back handed me and slapped me but it was because I was acting out and being fresh so I don't think it was really abuse but in other people's eyes it would probably look like abuse.
Lol I didn't ever think I was abused as a child...but things today are different. By today's standards, it was pretty substantial abuse but growing up it was what we all got if we acted out. We got the belt, paddle and switches...ass whoopins and slapped...even the principal at my school had a paddle to beat our asses. So yeah, things have definitely changed alot.

Fact is that the person is right when they talk about the cycle of abuse. Because of everything I was put through, I don't think I will be able to love a child properly. I didn't even realize what I was doing until a male classmate of mine asked me why I 'hated men'... But he was understanding when he figured out what had happened.
This isn't a fair statement... He *would* at least try to talk to people beforehand and usually would not throw them off stage until the end of the episode, when he reached his patience with them, and/or when they became too unruly. Honestly, I prefer the older Steve episodes, but there were other reasons he had to dial it down.
Each episode is different along with the situations but in similar situations he has just gotten pissed and thrown them off. But I guess in other wording I like seeing him talk to people and try to help.
Love these shows. Jerry Springer fulfills the seeing trashy people part of me, I got steve wilkos which fulfills my need for wanting justice for others and I got dr Phil to fulfill the helping mental health and physiological and theraputic part of life. 3 shows that fulfill my tv needs
Steve, I'm really wondering about one thing :: But first I have to say that I love you and your show, and you have a beautiful wife :-) So ,, to what I'm wondering about; some guests who have done exactly the same thing, let's take the topic of bad mothers. Why do you treat someone who has done exactly the same things totally differently ?? Some people you yell and call them rubbish as mothers, and then throw them off the stage, while others who have behaved in exactly the same way as mother 1, you talk calmly with and want to help them become better mothers, almost look like you show sympathy with theem! No I'm not talking about one who is just a little bad mother and one who is completely crazy ugly as a mother, but about two who are quite similar on the scale in behavior and actions. This generally applies to other topics as well, where someone has done almost identical things, but you react in the opposite way to them and. Why?? How do you justify those decisions ?? Face extensions ?? as we call it here in norway :-) Means if you judge more leniently to the one you like best of the two guests, or mean to say that it might be easier to be angry and strict if you can not stand their personality, I would think , would be natural for many of us! This has nothing to do with this story but when I watch these kind of shows about abuse I think about my childhood because my dad used to whoop me and leave welps on my legs and one time he back handed me and slapped me but it was because I was acting out and being fresh so I don't think it was really abuse but in other people's eyes it would probably look like abuse.
Lol I didn't ever think I was abused as a child...but things today are different. By today's standards, it was pretty substantial abuse but growing up it was what we all got if we acted out. We got the belt, paddle and switches...ass whoopins and slapped...even the principal at my school had a paddle to beat our asses. So yeah, things have definitely changed alot.
Times gave changed and it’s a good thing. You people need to stop with justifying children being treated like circus animals. Children are people. PEOPLE. You don’t BEAT people for mistakes. That’s called assault.

That is abuse. My bio dad used to do the same thing to me (among other things). It was abuse. There's no need to put your hands on a child. There's no need to use belts or anything else on a child. That doesn't teach children anything outside of how to hide their bad behaviour.
@@SiNCERELYTAYY1 I think what is being said with that one comment is that it was abuse. There are ways to discipline a child without putting your hands on them or causing a child to fear you. Fact is that the person is right when they talk about the cycle of abuse. Because of everything I was put through, I don't think I will be able to love a child properly. Therefore, I don't have children... And I am so terrified of men that I don't want them to be around me or be alone with one. I didn't even realize what I was doing until a male classmate of mine asked me why I 'hated men'... But he was understanding when he figured out what had happened.
I love that Steve is willing to talk to people now instead of just throwing them off the stage and calling them names.
This isn't a fair statement... He *would* at least try to talk to people beforehand and usually would not throw them off stage until the end of the episode, when he reached his patience with them, and/or when they became too unruly. Honestly, I prefer the older Steve episodes, but there were other reasons he had to dial it down.
Each episode is different along with the situations but in similar situations he has just gotten pissed and thrown them off. But I guess in other wording I like seeing him talk to people and try to help.
Love these shows. Jerry Springer fulfills the seeing trashy people part of me, I got steve wilkos which fulfills my need for wanting justice for others and I got dr Phil to fulfill the helping mental health and physiological and theraputic part of life. 3 shows that fulfill my tv needs

Steve, I'm really wondering about one thing :: But first I have to say that I love you and your show, and you have a beautiful wife :-) So ,, to what I'm wondering about; some guests who have done exactly the same thing, let's take the topic of bad mothers. Why do you treat someone who has done exactly the same things totally differently ?? Some people you yell and call them rubbish as mothers, and then throw them off the stage, while others who have behaved in exactly the same way as mother 1, you talk calmly with and want to help them become better mothers, almost look like you show sympathy with theem! No I'm not talking about one who is just a little bad mother and one who is completely crazy ugly as a mother, but about two who are quite similar on the scale in behavior and actions. This generally applies to other topics as well, where someone has done almost identical things, but you react in the opposite way to them and. Why?? How do you justify those decisions ?? Face extensions ?? as we call it here in norway :-) Means if you judge more leniently to the one you like best of the two guests, or mean to say that it might be easier to be angry and strict if you can not stand their personality, I would think , would be natural for many of us! But this is seriously meant Steve !!! I would really like if you / Steve could answer me on this !!
