Ive been drinking Grey Goose for years, and i love it. Hands down my favorite alcohol. Sparkling water and a splash of juice, sometimes i drink it on the rocks or just chilled.
I gotta say I’m very refreshed to find such an honest review of the Goose. I was never a fan of Vodka until Grey Goose came in my life. It is definitely very smooth and so much easier on the palate and throat rather than a cheap Vodka. Grey Goose keeps their par in my book 👍
Grey Goose is one of the most polarizing and often over exaggerated both negatively and positively. Some claim it is really the best and others claim it bottom shelf priced at top shelf. The truth is that in a ranking it would probably fall somewhere in the middle.
Vodka is a neutral spirit unless it’s a flavored vodka. It sounds backwards but it’s kind of what makes me appreciate vodka more and the slight nuances between them. This is why vodka makes a great liquor to mix as well. It’s straight and to the point.
I ran Smirnoff 70cl through a spare Brita filter I think I did it around 12 times and I did get a bit less maybe 50-100ml I don't remember correctly how much but for sure it did taste a lot better.
Mixed drinks is where it shines imo. Mix a 50/50 screwdriver with absolut and you can tell it's a stiff drink. Mix 50/50 with goose and you can barely tell there's alcohol in it
I just feel I'fyou are gonna pay that kind of money for vodka to mix, you could get a bottle half the price that's better. Don't get me wrong goose is wonderful just overpriced.
Grey Goose with soda and lime is my favourite. I’ve had issues with binge drinking in the past so my favourite means of enjoying alcohol to a safe level without risking further health issues such as weight gain is, aside from a couple of wines, whisky and soda as well as Grey Goose and soda with lime. You can also drink in it on the rocks or straight. It’s expensive but definitely worth it, it’s not just marketing to me. I don’t mind Belvedere either 👍
High end vodkas like Grey Goose and Belvedere are only good to have on the liquor shelf/cabinet for show IMO. Not much of a vodka drinker (except mixed) but can say using a Brita filter makes a cheap vodka high-er end, almost on par with the actual high end.
If you haven't already, try it out as an experiment. Some friends and I did a blind vodka test and the results were interesting. We had 8 different vodkas top/middle/and bottom shelf brands, took the worst of the bunch, pour two glasses, run one threw a Brita a few times with the other as a control.
I'd never heard of Grey Goose Vodka until last year. The only reason why was because I found a video on how to make a Grey Goose Martini dirty. I'd heard of that from watching Hitch. I thought it was just the name of the drink, not a brand of vodka. I may try a Grey Goose Martini dirty, wet and dry someday. Thanks for the video.
If the vodka has no flavor and a clean texture and finish (which I can attest to), why rate it at only a seven? What would you want from an 8-10 vodka?
+Radar Really I will have to give this mix a try but I would have to agree with Matthew Schmitt, New Amsterdam is a sure bet for me when it comes to vodka, not to expensive and still pretty good quality
What would you say belvedere or grey goose. You know where i live when i go out in club and when im feeling like it i like to order bottle of vodka and they are expensive like belvedere is 110$ so i wanna know if im doing good choice
That seems a little steep for a 1.75, they are 47.99 I'm KY. I honestly don't think hypnotic is worth it, it's just fruit juice and Hennessy mixed. Vodka mixes great with citrus, so lemonade, limeade, orange juice, or even Gatorade if you wanna play the long game lol.
I don’t drink vodka (prefer spirits with more flavor like whiskey, tequila, rum, and gin). Grey Goose is overpriced for what it is I believe, and Costco’s brand is literally the same thing but cheaper. If I must buy vodka, I’d go for a $15-$20 Polish or Russian one like Sobieski, Luksusowa, or Russian Standard.
I wish we could get any of the Costco brand booze. But it's illegal to sell booze in the same store as food. Only beer is ok to sell at grocery stores.
Vodka is a very cheap spirit to produce, since it doesn't age like other spirits out there, in other words you are paying for the name when you buy vodkas like ciroc or grey goose not necessary quality. you should never pay over 15 bucks for a bottle of vodka.
For vodka it mine as well be. if you know anything about the distillation process you would quickly figure out Goose is a rip off. Vodka cost around .40 cents or less to produce, and unlike other spirits like Rum or Whiskey its essentially done after the distillation and filtration, it doesn't require aging for years. when you pay over 20 dollars for vodka you are paying for celebrity endorsement and fancy bottles that being said there are literally hundreds of vodkas that are cheaper than goose that are as good or better on the market. also if you ever get a chance look up the story behind Goose, it was made to be overpriced even though it was just a basic alcohol. that being said, its still a good vodka just not worth the money. I hope that helps!
@@kybrewreview you obviously don't know how manufacturing of Grey Goose Vodka is different from 99% other Vodkas. I hope you do homework better next time. It is more expensive to make than most vodkas and if you google about it, you find out it too.
+Matthew Schmitt I've never had their flavored stuff. It seems a little odd to me to get flavored booz. I could spend $20 on a bottle of something that is 40%, or I can spend that same 20 on something that is 30% and has a faint taste of almonds.
Ive been drinking Grey Goose for years, and i love it. Hands down my favorite alcohol. Sparkling water and a splash of juice, sometimes i drink it on the rocks or just chilled.
The stuff is clean and I get no hangovers from it.

Its good vodka, but extremely overpriced. Never pay over 15 bucks for vodka, anymore and you are getting ripped off.

Grey goose is distilled 1x whereas Belvedere 4x. Do you notice the difference?

+Chris M I remember seeing the filter thing on myth busters lol.

Only Distillation purifies Vodka. Brita filters won't do anything.
never had Grey goose mixed, but it is smooth on the rocks. another great review guys keep it up.
There isn't a great reason to mix it. I think its good enough to just leave alone.
It's great to watch you enjoying a minimum amount.

Honestly it is a little overpriced, there are better vodkas for cheaper. But it's still a good vodka.

+PalJoey1957 price is always a factor, but we also look at the alcohol burn and how present it is in a mixed beverage.
Kirkland French vodka is almost identical to Grey Goose, and i love Grey Goose
Yup half the price. I can't get behind any company that charges that much for vodka..
You guys got the most bad ass intro in the game!!!
Special K made it. His movie maker skills are growing.
+Radar Really I will have to give this mix a try but I would have to agree with Matthew Schmitt, New Amsterdam is a sure bet for me when it comes to vodka, not to expensive and still pretty good quality
Those small bottles are for sneaking into pubs lol
METAL NIRON or into theaters
What would you say belvedere or grey goose.

We haven't tried belvedere yet, we will check it out sometime and do a head to head.
The right guys shirt kills it
Grey Goose and orange juice 😋 does drink good 👍 🍸😎
I remember this vodka vodka was expensive
But now I found it at rite aid for 23$a fith
Stuff is smooth for vodka I drank the whole bottle
yea, can get it for around the same at total wines, while a good vodka, still overpriced. the sweet spot for vodka is 12-16 dollars.
I love Grey Goose, mixed with Cran-Grape its amazing
Goose isn't bad, it's just a bit overpriced for what it is. That's all my gripe with it is. I'd rather have Grey Goose than Sobieski
What should I be drinking. I’ve been drinking grey goose 1.75ml for around $70. I wanna try mixing hypnotic with goose but what do you recommend?
That seems a little steep for a 1.75, they are 47.99 I'm KY. I honestly don't think hypnotic is worth it, it's just fruit juice and Hennessy mixed. Vodka mixes great with citrus, so lemonade, limeade, orange juice, or even Gatorade if you wanna play the long game lol.
It’s literally $37 in NYC
Some idiot pay $70 for a 1.75
Grey Goose Cherry Noir and Red Bull -thank me with a thumbs up
have you done crystal skull?
+noah i we have had it but haven't done a formal review. Maybe soon.
A recovered drinker trying the reviews section of u tube.
Be careful man and good luck to you
Honestly, I trust these guys opinion more because they spelt the title Gray goose
+Phil Collins I honestly never noticed the typo. You are the first person to point it out.

Reyka is just as good at a quarter of the price. Check it out sometime.
grey goose or finlandia?
Finlandia half the price, and better quality
Have you guys done a Malibu review?
I think we have done some of the flavored malibu rums, but there are still a bunch left to try.
+John Alcala we have done Malibu orange float rum. And we will be uploading coconut Malibu this week!
+Radar Really yes just watched it, any luck finding Lone Star beer?
+Special K (kybrewreview) Looking forward to giving it a big thumbs up!
we have not found it in our city and the surrounding ones, but we may be taking another trip soon!!
Bartender's problem: Girl orders a fruity drink with Grey Goose comes back, "Um, I can't taste the vodka in this? You need to put more in here."
You either have some super stupid, or super smart clients. Either they don't know how vodca works, or they have figured out how to get free drinks.
I'd like to think they were smart.. but, I may be giving them too much credit lol.
I did four shots of this shit today and rinse it down with some lemonade
Someone should try mixing goose with kiwi apple red bull
I’m just trying it now & it tastes pretty good
It looks like your tasting vodka for the first time
I wish... I have had way too many bad experiences with vodka, so I am always hesitant, when Reviewing it.
Try Tito's handmade vodka
I like grey goose w Kern's lol
I get a fifth for $30 I don’t see that as overpriced

Lol I try grey goose once n my life daily lol
Goose is 🔥🔥🔥 worth the extra coins
Better off with finlandia.
Grey Goose vodka hasn't ever won a San Francisco World Spirits Competition medal! It's 100% marketing, zero percent taste.
Loce the cherry flavored
Jesus you’re acting like it’s $100 bucks per bottle lol

I dont always drink grey goose but when i do id rather drink rubbing alcohol! 😷
+tim skees not a huge fan of vodka, but this one it good, just way overpriced.
Special K but i had it almost 3 years ago so idk if id like it now or not, just assuming i wont but i might try it again!
I think Grey Goose is awful. I would take New Amsterdam, Ciroc, or ketle1 over Grey Goose.
New amsterdam is the shit. Back when I drank a lot of vodca I stuck mostly to Skyy.
+Radar Really skyy is great too! I really enjoy their normal vodka but their flavored products are not very good.
+Matthew Schmitt I've never had their flavored stuff. It seems a little odd to me to get flavored booz. I could spend $20 on a bottle of something that is 40%, or I can spend that same 20 on something that is 30% and has a faint taste of almonds.
Your fucking dumb arent you 😂
Damn y'all broke
Its vodka, why would anybody pay that much for vodka, you should never pay over 15 bucks for vodka otherwise you are paying for the name.
@@kybrewreview , if you know that little about differences between different alcohols, maybe you shouldn't do videos about them 🤭
