Bro. Jonathan, do you have any biographical information about Bishop Nathaniel Wells. I met him several years ago when he came and preached at my church. I was really impressed with him. He was very kind to me. He took the time to converse with me when he didn't have to. I was so sorry to hear of his transition. I hope that someday when this pandemic is over the church will honor his memory. He certainly deserves it. Bishop Brooks also. As usual, I really enjoy your ministry. God bless you, Sir.
Jonathan DesVerney Gospel Channel I grew up COGIC under Dr. Willie James Campbell so I seen a lot of G.E Patterson growing up. Obsessed? Not really he was an anointed man of God who in my opinion preached Spirit and Truth. I’m more so obsessed with the God that was in him. But COGIC change when he passed it became more business and more strict like the Baptist. I’m none denomination now though I don’t want no parts.

Patterson was a great preacher. but the obsession of people over him is baffling to me and disrespectful to the current Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake... How will you feel if someone did that to you? To me, it's not Godly... I remember this one lady saying she wish Bishop G.E. Patterson came back to life . People, in general, go crazy over Bishop G.E. Patterson, and I never seen anything like that before. I respect all seven of our Senior and Presiding Bishops they all are Man Of God and God put each of them in charge for a reason.

I personally witnessed Bishop GE Patterson's inauguration. I actually ran into him as he walked through the halls at that service. He spoke to me and always referred to me by name when I saw him at convocations, aim meetings, etc. The garb, the staff with the ruby in the center, the words and phrases used, etc... it's ALWAYS been that way (cult like)
