- This video I not only update you on many things going on around the property. But we build the artificial reef structure for my new shark pond, this pond is 5000 gallons and will soon have a bunch of baby sharks in it! In order to have these fish, you need to build structure, we replicated old lobster traps that we saw in the Florida Keys, made our own DIY version, and even went on to do some other things! We are just about ready for some sharks👀🦈🪸

For the chicken and turkey water you should raise it so they can't push shavings Into it.

PAUL in case you don't see my OG comment. Don't use pavers. It won't work trust me, I have 32 chickens. Hang your water and feeder from the underside of the chicken enclosure where you have them at around 4-6 inches off of the ground and it will keep your birds from kicking bedding into them. It will save time changing water, keep things clean and lower the risk of bacteria collecting in them from dirt and poopy! It can make them sick and die if left in the containers to long. If you see this, feel free to give a shout out to myself and my 9 year old son Xavier in the next video! He would flip! Lol. We don't miss a video EVER 🤙

Yeah that’s what I was going to say. Metal rusting will cause havoc. I have a feeling they weren’t using stainless steel nails. Good luck.
Also, the fence boards on the traps look pressure treated, all home depots non cedar fence boards are treated

Paul, you should install small push broom heads on the legs of the goat tree house structure. So the goats can rub their body against them if they have an itch. Could do the same for all the pigs in their enclosure. Only needs long enough screws and broom heads.

Screw an eye hook to the inside of the chicken coop and hang the feeder/water things from wires to keep them off the ground so the chooks dont get them dirty! 8:35

I would cover some of the trap with rock and coral to make it look like it's starting to grow over it.
If you put the chickens watter on some brick pavers it will help the watter stay cleaner or hang on a chain

Paul, Try hanging up the water and food bowls in the chicken coop. You'll find the bowls stay cleaner longer.

If you add a large block of foam/sponge to the return outlet to the skimmer it will act as a bubble trap and stop so many bubbles entering the water column. It may help until you get the skimmer dialled in.
Paul you should add live rock to the sides of the structure and pond to make it more realistic it would look badass
You should paint the rocks or “holders” for the lobster traps to look like 🦞 - ❤️ all your videos!! Keep going!!

Love the crab traps in the shark tank but only thing that worries me is the nails rusting and leaching metals into the water. Not sure what nails you used but that’s the only thing that would worry me for long term.
He just gets water delivery for changes so it won’t matter

Ask Tommy to check the pump on the skimmer and the plumbing on it. Might have a loose fitting valve on it to that’s causing the bubbles to escape.
Paul put the chicken feed and warter on the mud side otherwise they’ll keep getting loadsss of shavings in it 💙

For the turkeys and chickens I recommend putting a block under the water so it doesn't get filled with shavings.

Great shark pond paul, love you're videos but i recommend in the chicken coop that the water ang food feeder to hang 4 to 5 inc above the ground to avoid being dirty to lessen the cleaning.

Put the turkey food and water in a higher platform from the floor to prevent the bedding from getting into it. Save you alot of clean up 👍🏽
You should make shower stall for the birds for them to step on a button to turn the water one whenever they want to get cooled down.
Give some thought about giving the Imu a kiddie pool. They actually love water and might appreciate it during those hot summer months. Cheers.

Hi Paul. Just wondering if you have checked if the pesticide in fence palings will leach out into the tank from your lobster tanks? Couldn’t use the ones available in Australia so thought that might be something you double check. Treated pine in Australia would slowly poison your sharks. Just a thought. Love your videos
You do great things for all your animals EXCEPT the poor cats. You chased the cat out of the building the one day. You need to make some type of cat house on stilts for during rain or hurricanes that would protect them from flooding and having to hide under a car or something. They aren't just rat catchers (as you have called them), they are at least worthy of a solid safe place to hide out in bad weather. Have a heart!

Lobster would be kinda cool in the shark tank. The smarter ones might survive with that structure and clean up after shark feeding.

hey paul! i would recommend getting hanging water and feeders for the chickens because i had chickens and they worked really well. they also won’t get dirty as fast! also love you keep up the good work!
the depth charge mines from finding nemo would look sick! the chain holding the floating spiky mines in the shark scene.
You need to get a speckled carpet shark for the pond they look so cool and same with the Epaulette shark
You need to put some bricks under the water and feed thingy. I show chickens and I do that bc they get it really dirty

That's one thing you'll learn with chickens, obviously they make their water messy because of kicking and scratching around so your best bet is to hanging the waterer and food containers up high enough so they can't kick crap into them but at the right height where they can reach it. I hang mine inside the coop with a chain around a plank of wood nailed across inside that has a hook and as they grew I would change the height with the loops of the chain. Try it it works
12:37 Just a suggestion; Can’t u use a single main filter for all the three ponds of yours so that the maintenance becomes easy and general. Love to watch your videos though and your love for all your animals. 😊😊

Hey Paul! Just a suggestion if you put the chicken/turkey water and feed on raised platforms, they don't get near as dirty! Less maintenance!
Paul you should hang up the chicken water a few inches off the ground so you don't have as much maintenence
You should break a few slats on the traps so it looks used and more realistic
Absolutely needs to be a ray and or a guitar fish in the big salt pond
If you put a huge anchor on top of the traps to weigh it down that would be cool. Btw put the chick water in a platform so they don’t dirty it so quickly. I have mine hanging
For the birds feed and waterer put something under it so they can’t kick shavings into it. As they grow keep raising it then hang the feeder once full grown that’s what I do and it works amazing, Love your content Paul you truly are amazing
You should plumb a tank to the shark or predatory tank and grow macroalgae that your tangs can eat. It would also be a nice vid to collect seaweeds to grow lol
Why dont you do any regualr feeding or maintenance videos? we would all love it. Maybe that way we could get to see more of the ponds as well as it kinda seems you build them and then they disappear eg next day koi, duck pond, the inside tanks etc plus its good to see what maintenance goes into looking after them once they are set up. Easy upload for you and great content for us, seems like a win/win.
