I didn't realize this until recently, but Powerwolf is probably one of my favorite power metal artists recently. In addition to several other bands I've discovered recently, Powerwolf seems to have a really solid discography and I can't wait for the new album. I'm definitely going to seek out physical copies of all their stuff.
***** I love Sabaton. Though a lot of people seem to like their new albums really well, my favorite material was off of The Art of War and Coat of Arms.

Have been a fan of Gary Moore since i bought a run for cover cd in a flea market in the town where my grandparents used to live when i was 8. Last year i discovered powerwolf while roaming on youtube, and when i first heard this song I felt genuine chills and my heart race, taking me back to my first discoveries of rock and metal. So thank you once again Powerwolf for making such an amazing and unique cover, as well as a perfect tribute to the late Gary Moore and Phil Lynott.

Bruno bwv You can thank Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy for those powerful lyrics =) I'm guessing him and Gary Moore are having a blast up there in the skies, jammin' with Jimi Hendrix :D

Siegfried "Everyone is the same" is not the same thing as "everybody is equal". This is not about left or right, I'm sure you're smart enough to see that.
@Siegfried man, i know the kind of person that you are and i dont like you guys, because you are nuts. Why do you say "leftists"?? You clearly didnt listen to the song. It says, no matter how different we are, when the bullet hits your heart, you die and nothing will stop that bullet if you dont stop the gun before the shot. And yes, all men are created equal, no matter if you are left or to the right, it makes no difference if you black or if youre white... This is waht the song says. So listen to it you right wing Dickhead
This is just glorious! I've never heard anything from Gary Moore, but this song sounds so good 'Powerwolf'd'. Yeah... Powerwolf'd. Damn, I need that bonus CD as well! Great work, guys!
Son, you've been missing out :P I can definitely see the appeal of powerwolf, but i personally think that the original is better. Then again, i've always been partial to a more "melodic" kind of sound. Either way, i wholeheartedly recommend that you check out the original by Gary and Phil Lynott. I think you'd enjoy both versions. And while you're at it, check out Gary's "Over the hills and far away" too. :D

Out in the Fields Lyrics
[Verse 1]
It doesn't matter if you're wrong or if you're right
It makes no difference if you're black or if you're white
All men are equal 'til the victory is won
No color or religion ever stopped a bullet from a gun
[Chorus]
Out in the fields, the fighting has begun
Out on the streets, they're falling one by one
Out from the skies, a thousand more will die each day
Death is just a heartbeat away
[Verse 2]
It doesn't matter if you're left or to the right
Don't try to hide behind the cause they want to fight
There'll be no prisoners taken when the day is done
No flag, no uniform ever stopped a bullet from a gun
[Chorus]
Out in the fields, the fighting has begun
Out on the streets, they're falling one by one
Out from the skies, a thousand more will die each day
Death is just a heartbeat away
[Bridge]
There's no communication
No one to take the blame
The cries of every nation
They're falling on deaf ears again
[Chorus]
Out in the fields
Out in the fields, they're falling one by one
Out in the fields, no flag has ever stopped a bullet from a gun
Death is just a heartbeat away
Out in the fields, a heartbeat away
Out in the fields, death is just a heartbeat away
Out in the fields, a heartbeat away
Out in the fields
Out in the fields, the fighting has begun
Out on the streets, they're falling one by one
Out from the skies, a thousand
more will die each day
