How the infections can get rid off with this technique? It seems they hen's cage is very untidy and it is also very difficult to clean. Hen's pee in water can leads to growth of microbes in a rapid manner.

Those chickens are overheated!!!!!!!!! I have laying hens and on days it gets over 100 it is hard to keep the girls cool. Our normal summer average temp is 82.

Really how could anyone support this, The poor hens live their entire life in a cage, No sunlight, No treats and no grass. Not to mention birds feet are not made to stand in wire mesh. In the wild they would have infinite space to roam and would have a chance to like a good life and be happy.
These animals are NOT objects, So stop treating them like that and show some respect for other living creatures. Let’s stuff you in a cage your whole life and see how you like it.

Can survive any season. In winter they put plastic cover in both open side of the farm.

The problem with this is that the layers get spooked easily when the fish are feeding and you might end up with chicken breaking eggs when laying and prolapse of their insides
Maybe the choice of breed is their solution to this problem.
They will get used to it, you have to put the birds in there weeks before they start to lay.

chicken feces could not affect the fish habitat under the layered chicken and likewise what breed of fish you have cultured inside the ponds. is it also sustainable even in large quantity of chicken because of the ammonia content in waste that contaminate the water in the ponds. Im so interested this type of integrated mixed farming coz i have also a fishpond here in the philippines. I hope you would help me address this query of my being curious to learn of your mixed farm, i like and im so interested of it
