Hi They we’re BFG AT old version. AT would be recommended only did 1 muddy section 1km that was it. The AT’s were perfect on all the river crossings, sand and gravel tracks.
Hi guys trip looks amazing. We were hoping to do something similar with a uk company who do guided tours. May I ask what was the estimated total cost of your trip ?
Defender Dave , hi the total cost was £4500 inc tour/ferry/food drink & fuel for 2 weeks in Iceland + 4 days total on ferry + 2 days in Denmark + 2 days driving to Denmark & back. Would highly recommend Venture 4x4, great value, great organisation & very friendly. Things to bear in mind, all food & drink is extortionate even in larger supermarkets, ironically eating out (just the once) pizza was same price as U.K. We took most of our own dehydrated food, cereal bars, oak cakes etc, just thought we would get small tub of tomatoes (£5) & cheese (£5) for lunch each day as it would be cheap! On the ferry we went for buffet breakfast (expensive) but great & cheaper dinner for eve rather than buffet which was awful. Also take your own drinks for ferry (pint of coke £8). Also take more warm clothes than you think you will need. All in all was a trip of a lifetime, an amazing country & again can't recommend venture 4x4 enough.
