Thank you ! You are a man of few words, but your face told me everything I needed to know ! You read every word and really paid attention, it showed in your smiles and I appreciate your sincerity. BTS “found” me almost four years ago when I lost my dear husband of 50 years. They lifted me up and filled my empty life with a joy I had never thought to feel again. I am 75 years old and hope to be still around when they return in 2025 ! Thanks again for your sincere reaction 💜

Thank you for your comment. I tried to soak up as much information as I could and didn't really stop the video to speak much in the beginning. Their story is inspiring and they continue to add to the story everyday. Sorry to hear about your husband. I'm glad BTS was there for you to help you through a very hard time. I hope I'm still around too in 2025 to witness their return.

Thanks for the reaction. These 7 men are just amazing. They have been together for 10+ years, and while not blood related, they are truly brothers. And just like brothers, they have had their fair share of fights and disagreements. The great thing is that if there is an argument between members, even if it's just 2 of them arguing, all 7 members resolve it together. That is amazing to me, considering any disagreement prior to performing could impact the entire performance. They agree to shelve the argument until after a performance. They are the most talented group I have ever come across in my 59 years. They are truly humble and credit their fans, ARMY, to their success. They always mention ARMY first when ever they win an award. Enjoy the BTS rabbit hole. It is never-ending! Borahae 💜

When my father died and was having a hard time, BTS' songs encouraged their words to comfort and encourage them. Their message that everyone, regardless of race, men and women, old people, and children, deserves to be loved and love themselves raised me up. We will be with BTS who have a good influence and not hate the world

I really enjoyed your reaction! Just some minor notes.
    1) At the end, when ARMYS are holding up a heart with Korean writing and talking about the member looking. The Heart says Jin's name. That day was his birthday and secretly for months ARMYS had been making those signs to pass out to the 60k+ ppl attending the event. Even sitting outside the stadium still cutting them out while waiting to go in.
    2) The kindness the boys have also towards industry professionals is insane. You wont find an article about them being rude or diva behavior because it doesnt exist. A good handful of there original staff are still with them or the company. Interviewers and other celebs always comment on how extremely kind they always are even to janitor staff.
    3) The group is on pause for mandatory military enlistment until 2025, so currently each member has released solo work and in the case of Suga done a solo tour.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about these seven incredible guys. They truly do have a brotherhood and have a great deal of respect for each other and support each other 100%. They're willingness to share a lot more of themselves than just their stage performances and music videos is why there's such synergy between BTS and ARMY. It is a true relationship and as a 66-year-old male ARMY it is a dynamic that I have never experienced between performer and fan ever in my life prior to discovering BTS.

Thanks for your reaction. It is the positivity and their ability to unite people of all ages, races and walks of life plus their talent of course that sets them apart from other artists. You said at one point that it seemed there was mostly fun and hard work. Sadly that is not the case, at the end it touched on hatred and racism but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Xceleste has a great video BTS Hardships, that details the struggles they went through both at home and globally. It is well worth watching to get a better understand of their journey and why ARMY is so protective 💜

I respect their hard work and dedication to their fans. Sadly this world has a lot of hate and negativity even towards these talented men. They could've listened to the haters and just gave up, but they didn't. I love the positivity all around them now and their music is inspiring.

I agree, that in many ways, even though BTS make light of it, their story is one of overcoming adversity, starting from the very beginning when in Korea every possible obstacle was put in their way. It's always hard for new Idol bands to succeed in a very crowded market, but the big 3 companies routinely influenced all sorts of media not to give new artists exposure. I also get the impression that for BTS this was even more pointed, but I don't know. Bang Si Hyuk recently pointed out that they were successful from the start, winning Rookie of the Year, but I think that financial success was even harder, with the company struggling for several years - actually perhaps until BTS really made an international mark in the USA. The fact that these teenagers and not-much-older youths were perfectly aware of that must have been another burden on top of all the criticism and false accusations etc etc etc. Those obstacles are as toxic (if not more so) in the west - eg Billboard Top Social artist: I read recently that they have abandoned that category ... after BTS was winning it every year for (was it?) 4 years.
But, yes, BTS appear to sail high above it all - but I know there is a huge cost to them. Every one of them talks about how if they fall down they need each other to get up - I think that's no less than a perpetual truth. In fact you an see it in their body language when they meet, and even more potently if (like now) they have been apart for some time.
I have learned so much from BTS - not just in their music but n their demeanor and personalities. And let's not forget Bang Si Hyuk in this!

They found me three years ago. My husband was going through his second and then third bout of cancer. I lost him in January. BTS has truly kept me going and made life bearable after losing my perfect mate. We were together 19.5 beautiful years. Thank you for reacting to this! I was anticipating it 😊
36:10 you mentioned "rough spots", if youre talking personally, theyre really great people. If youre talking about in their profession, they actually had a ton of rough spots sadly 😭. They were mistreated & looked down upon, & other companies/media outlets actively hindered them, or tried to.
Their success & achievements are still not often reported upon in their own country, & when they are its heavily downplayed. For instance, when they were nominated for a grammy for best duo/group, korean media reported it as "they failed to make it into the major categories" & not "they were nominated for...".
They constantly face hatred, xenophobia, & racism in the west. If you'd like to know more about their struggles & the obstacles they continually face, pls watch bts hardships updated by xCeleste (i think the updated one is up until 2021)

@@NateRockne oh good! Seeing their hardships also helps explain why they love and appreciate ARMY so much, & why ARMY is sooo protective of them. It'll probably upset you to watch, especially when you realize they are really good, kind & humble people, who didn't/don't deserve to be treated so poorly. Also, you should definitely watch Taylor's guide to BTS members: the bangtan 7. That & the hardships video are 2 rly good ones to help explain the phenomenon that is BTS . xCeleste also gas some other good short documentaries. Also the channel boracity, she really really explains how BTS differs from other kpop idols as well as why/how the western music industry sabotages them. (I suggest going to the boracity channel and seeing which ones interest you more... she goes deep with it. )

You are right, they are incredibly creative and each encouraged each other to try things and explore their creativity in all kinds of directions. They have such a great balance and such a great work ethic. How many others at their level of success would still see all of them completing their degrees and starting masters for example? It’s why they are always exploring so many genres and don’t sit i 38:46 n one. Thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed getting to know them a bit more as individuals. she really did a good job but mow in 2023 it's far from being recent and updated! I just want to point out that she forgot to mention that RM's 148 IQ is genius level but Jimin and Jungkook both have an IQ of 128 which is pretty high too. I don't know about all members but Taehyung and Suga seems to have an IQ above average too. She said that Jungkook is good in everything but she forgot to say that Jin also is good in almost every sports, he also can play the piano and guitar! The other members startet to learn some instruments too. RM is the only one fluent in English but now in 2023 the other members learned it pretty well. It can not really be updated because with BTS you basically can't have an updated version for a long time. If you want an accurate update of BTS you would have to add another 5 Minutes every other week because they are working so much that they achieve something new every other week. For example as of May till now, they again released multiple solo albums, other projects, had solo concerts/performances, won many awards, are brand ambassedors and broke records. And if you want detailed videos about each member it would have been a 2 hours video for every single one (probally longer LOL)
    ______
sadly awards and first places are stolen from them. I urge you to watch the information videos by Boracity Magazine:

ARMY have seen that video with reactors from the beginning to the end, some hundreds, some thousands of times.. It is very easy, just respecting BTS and you have us by your side.
There was some moments in the video that are difficult to understand unless you know what context the clips are - like the Jungkook crying over a letter.. They all had a task for few last days to write letters for ARMY and JK after reading his (which was extremely beautiful) bursted into tears.
There is few of those things like why the koala's name was Koya - Koya is a character that RM created - they all have BT21 character that they created, and so there is lots of reference of RM as a koala, Jin as a lama..

Thank you for watching this to learn more about BTS. You said it right - it took a Lot of hard work, and training. I found BTS in 2021 watching their Black Swan MV. Never looked back and have immense respect and admiration for all 7 of these guys. So much has happened since May 2022 there isn't enough time nor space to right it all. Anyway, can you please also react to Jung Kook as the Main Vocalist of BTS on Ida S channel (I think it's a 2023 update). It goes through what that means, other than Just having insane vocals. Oh and a few things you might not realize: 1) the real names they show, eg Kim Namjoon, their "last" name as we would think of it is shown first (so Kim is Namjoon's last name, and stage name is RM). 2) The ages shown here are Korean age before they changed how they do it to international, so when they say Jung Kook joined at 15, he actually joined at around 13, and made his debut at age 15 (in June 2013). He's been the "Main Vocalist" since age 15. Crazy! That doesn't mean the others don't have talent in vocals, dancing, rapping, etc. but even the members call him a vocal genius and pitch perfect.

Everybody was 1 to 2 years younger than stated because until this year Korea had a unique way of calculating age. Before you were one year old at birth and a year older on January the first regardless if your birthday was not until the end of December. So JK was still 13 when he moved to Seoul to live with the boys. They really did raise him as he rarely saw his family. The secondry captions were distracting on this though.

It would have been a bit better if you pause and comment on some things while watching the video. Is this even a correct sentence? I'm not an english speaker

Normally I would ask the same thing - for reactors to pause and comment. But watching him I could see that he was paying attention and taking in the information. I am like this too where I will watch things intently and then take time later to think about what I watched and process that information.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still new to reaction videos, so hearing your opinions is helpful for me. I was trying to take in all the info in the video, so I probably didn't stop the video enough. I'll work on it for future videos.

@@NateRockne I'd say take your time and do the reaction in a way that's best for you. You will never be able to please everybody so ultimately the best reaction is where you are most natural. Pausing is good when you reach a point in a video where you really have something to say but pausing because you feel it's something you should do can put pressure on you to say things just for the sake of speaking.

Please be aware, Love....this Vid/your reaction is being seen by MILLIONS of Army. Some of them may 'join' your channel. Others may prefer to stay in the 'Shadows'. As is their Right. Either way: As an OG BTS Army Mom (since 2016) . Loving yo' shit . ......let's keep it real - not so much the beard? 🤣.....but You. Do. You. Borahea 💜💜

I appreciate any subscribers, but I understand some won't subscribe or comment. I didn't subscribe to anyone until this year. (I subscribe to a lot of channels now) This is a big learning experience for me so I hope to continue to grow and get better and let the subscribers happen naturally. As far as my beard lol. The short story is that I had cancer in 2016 and after chemo I lost all my hair, so when I finished chemo I let it grow and haven't cut it since. i suppose I still haven't gotten over that part of my life and that's why I don't cut it.
