  • Mizrub is very very important to play Sitar but no many people know how to choose a right one because every finger is different in shape and size and every mizrub too.

    I'm intrigued. I've talked to MANY who've said something like this isn't something that could be shown via a video, but you did it. Finally, I have no pain when practicing. Finally, my right hand is more relaxed, and it will get better over time. For the longest time I thought I'd never be able to progress, but now I know I can. Phenomenal teaching and advice.

    Thank you for an excellent video! As you rightly pointed out, these important aspects are rarely touched upon, let alone be discussed in detail. It would be very helpful if you could also talk about the tuning (i.e., the scale) and the thickness of the main string (i.e., #2, #3, or #4), especially on the combinations which may be suitable for beginners, intermediates, and experienced learners. Those who have a guru would already have the right guidance in this regard, but this would help many others who do not.
