Perfect video mate! I’m in the process of removing my flywheel on my Moto4 to replace my starter clutch. Unfortunately, within my flywheel it seems all 3 of the screw sockets are blocked with some sort of metal piece. I can’t seem to engage my screws from my flywheel puller. Have you experienced this before and do you have any other recommendations on removing the flywheel? It’s the only thing stopping me from repairing my bike!
My 86 moto 4 225 has broke 2 one way starter clutches You hit the button and the starter just spins does not engage the engine we replaced it once and it worked for maybe a month and it did it agsin
I know this video is pretty old, but I was wondering if you new if the bottom timing chain gear came off or if it's part of the whole Crankshaft, thanks.
2 questions. Does the transmission have separate oil? And how much gear oil does the rear end take if you know? I will be using this video in the future i bet. Thanks!
I have this motor and my starter is not engaging, it will spin but not crank the engine. I pulled off the stator and its cover, gears looked great. Could a one way clutch be put on wrong or does this sound like another problem. Is there anytype of magmetic engagement with the stator and the starter gear? Thank you.
Very helpful video, thank you for posting! Right now I've got an issue with my moto4 where I've gotta pull my flywheel and have a look at what's going on.. Bike ran fine one day then died while I was out riding it.. Came to a grinding/whining halt. When I pull the pull starter in neutral, it's very hard to pull and makes grinding noises. I removed the started and it runs but there is still some other internal noise happening in that general area of the motor.. Any idea what that could be? I'm pulling the flywheel off tomorrow but I'm not much of a mechanic so I'd love to hear your input. Thanks in advance Tyson!
Wow, very fast reply.. thanks so much.. I'm borrowing a flywheel puller today so I should have it off later this evening.. I'm just curious if I need to loosen the tension on the chain before pulling the cam.. I should have asked that last time I messaged. Thanks again and I will definitely subscribe.

@@MidNebraskaMotorsports i put on a new starter last week. It catches and slips randomly. That makes sense. Thank you
