Hello everyone! I leave you this exercise by Joe Pass where he does a study on a blues in C playing in eighth notes. I find these exercises very useful for beginning jazz students who have difficulty playing in eighth notes without pausing, and for developing melodic ideas using scales, arpeggios and chromaticisms. I have schedules available for online guitar classes. We can work on exercises like this, or any item that the student needs to develop their musicality with the instrument. Thanks for watching!

Hola a todos! Les dejo este ejercicio de Joe Pass donde hace un estudio sobre un blues en Do tocando en corcheas. Encuentro estos ejercicios muy utiles para los estudiantes inciales de jazz que tienen dificultad en tocar en corcheas sin hacer pauseas, y para desarrollar ideas melodicas usando escalas, arpegios y cromatismos. Tengo horarios disponibles para clases de guitarra online. Thanks! Glad you like it. I think is more suitable for intermediate or advanced players that now the basics of harmony and handle sight reading. It explains chord extensions, sustitutions, arpeggios and scales relationship. And also have melodic etudes over major, minor , modern blues, turnarounds and rythm changes. So beginner players can be a little lost if they see it without a teacher.
