I downloaded the demo yesterday and tried it out. Seems like a game that will be super fun, and easy to sink a lot of time into. Kind of sad they fixed the blue dirt (update since your video). I hope employees will be added, once you get all 7 rooms open, there is so much to do between cleaning the rooms, clearing the dishes, constantly restocking food and vending machines. I ended up closing the hotel so I could do renos like painting (doesn't increase any value but it looks much nicer) and adding more furniture. When everything is open, there is no time to do anything other than play constant catchup. Can't imagine how busy things would be with more than just the 1 floor of rooms.
Interesting. Nice to see the Hotel genre has been getting some love. I was sad that SimCasino development stopped. Will we be able to make highrise hotels? With elevators?
The value of each room. Each beach view would have more luxury items, nicer TVs, bigger paintings, fancy your lights, to get the most value out of the beach view room. So Standard rooms would have stand up showers, beach window views would have lay down bathtubs
