So cool to see Sony drop the new models! I got my x95l 85in a month ago and it's been a fantastic upgrade over my LG CX!
So you don't regret leaving OLED? Not bait, genuine question.
I'm interested in the reply but the CX only went to 65" or maybe 77"? The X95L is legit and 85" I'm guessing not much of a downside. The Bravia 9 is even better.
@@BTheInstallerI’m experiencing some major FOMO right now, lol…especially since I’m still in my return window.
@@BBRBGR I don’t…for me the picture is nearly identical. Blooming is less…picture is brighter. Colors are vibrant with great contrast. Albeit…my cx is 4 years old. Maybe that’s it? Plus not having to worry about burn in is huge for me since my OLED developed it in year 3.
That's the LG I have is the 77"cx . I'm debating on buying the Bravia 9 in 85 inches with their newest Bravia 9 sound bar, lol I also own an LG OLED 65B7P, and it's on its second panel of burn in. I'm tired of burn in and having to worry about it honestly. I'd love a micro led tv but to expensive still.
It would be great if Jen attended the manufacturer events with you because it would enhance her knowledge, confidence, and value to your channel. She does an great job now and would be even better if given the opportunity to experience these events first hand.
Sony fanboy here. I always look forward to the new model rollout. Keep up the good work guys.
We will, try. 😆
I am happy the Bravia 9 is $5500 for 85 and not $7k.
That price is good in my books.
What do you think will be the price for the Bravia 9 at 85” for Black Friday?
Saw people complaining elsewhere , but this is their flagship.Plus if you want the best 85" mini LED then this is probably it , others may go brighter , but that will be all. Same as a commentI saw about the G4 83" - do not expect a discount , except any loyalty bonus for long time . they will be snapped up. So Feb/march next year to see any meaningful discounts . Any during this year will be short , so get it quick.
Selling TVS is a hard business , best these companies collect the cream on sought after models
The new SONY line up and audio products all look fantastic. SONY is really moving in all the right directions imho. Not least of all the significantly better names. Easy to remember simple names. And the Bravia theatre Quad looks amazing
Hello, I’m thinking about purchasing X93l. Do you think the Bravia 7 will be a better tv than the X93l or the same far as clarity?
Thanks for the video. I had a question- majority of my TV viewing is 4k Blurays and I'm hung up between getting the X95L or the Bravia 9. I've heard everyone say if I want to enjoy movies I should go with an OLED but now I'm even more confused with the Mini LED technology and what it will be capable of. Any advice on what direction I should go?
If i buy the Bravia 9 tv and get the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9, I'd like to hook up my Playstation 5 and Amazon Firestick 4K Max and the sound bar to the hdmi 2.1 ports. However, there are only two 2.1 hdmi ports on the Bravia 9 tv itself. Is there a way to get the full utilization of the 2.1 hdmi ports for all three of the abovementioned devices?
are the 2024 dolby atmos bars compatible with the Sony Bravia A90J from 2021?
Ah, so the Bravia 7 is really more of a X93L replacement. X90L (carryover), Bravia 7 (X93L replacement), Bravia 9 (X95L replacement). Didn't realize the X90L was carried over...I knew the A95L was.
B wont be happy until that entire wall is covered in Micro LED panel's LOL 😅
Sony talks about reducing reflections on the Bravia 9. Is it a matte screen and can compete with the Samsung S95D? 10:12
Excited for that Bravia 9
so if you had a choice of the sony 9 or the LG G4 in the 75inch and 77 inch which one would you chose for your home
G4 over any mini LED.
Well they are both pretty crappie TVs, why not try a 37" Westinghouse Elite X1000? G4 will look better mounted on wall. Bravia 9 will look better on the stand.
Nice sir, my question you who is model of bravia sony 7 in Indian model name
I think I saw online someone mentioned XR70 possibly.
Are these new sound bars still compatible with the RS5 and SW5? Or is it worth still going with last year's model, Soundbar, that you mentioned?
They are backwards compatible. I should have mentioned that. Darn. Those will all carry over
@@BTheInstaller ok cool hope you get to review them soon
I currently have the X93L and HT-7000 Soundbar. I am interested in the Voice Zoom 3. Can I keep my x93L and get the new Sony Theater 9 and have access to Voice Zoom 3?
I also have the X93L, but with the A5000. Voice Zoom is already on that tv; it's not a soundbar feature, unless you call it Voice Mode
No more "Master Series" label. Now it's Bravia.
I gues bravia 3 is normal led panel and not worth for the price cuz u can get qled for same money on other brands, im gueesing bravia 7 is the best mid option if its like 700$ for 50" its good right?
Just the marketing terms.
Qled uses a QD fliter at the front of LCD screen for color reproduction whereas Bravia 3 has Triluminous pro which does the same thing but behind the LCD screen.
@@cloud_1216 so do u think Bravia 3 is better then Smasung q60c? cuz i was planing to get that
Thanks
Welcome
I’m debating between Sony or Samsung the frame. I like how the frame has all the electronics in external box. BTW the stock videos on the TVs are filmed in Bulgaria
FYI: Sony is also rolling over the 42” and 48” A90Ks OLEDs.
It would be nice to know when will these be available
In US, the TVs will be on sale from 3rd week of May.
Is it worth retuning my HT-A7000 that I got last September for the theater bar9
Hello. I don't think that is necessary. There may be small improvements but the a7000 is what I use. It's great and the surrounds and sub are remaining the same
My A5000 is a beast of a soundbar. Just purchased beginning of April soundbar SW5 sub n RS5 rear speakers all Sony.
I love the system. Definitely loud and clear. Still am going to upgrade to the new bar!!
To have a theatre feel at home can’t beat it
I’m definitely returning my A5000 to upgrade to the #9 soundbar of Sony.
Only downfall is the 7000 has 2 hdmi ports. The 5000 and the 9 has only 1 port.
I have a a5000 thinking of getting a7000 or is the theater 9 better on your opinion?
Looking forward to your reviews on these new products!
Is the bravia 9 and bravia bar 9 in the market?
Links in description. Not sure of availability but check
Is the Bravia 7 a replacement of the old x93L or the X95L? There's confusing info out there that it's like the x95 which would be awesome, but I have my doubts. Some even say it replaces the X90 which doesn't make sense as the X90 isn't mini LED. If the new Bravia 7 replaces the x95, it would mean the Bravia 9 is above that altogether and that would make it a NEW top tier mini LED.
Thank you for the great overview of these new TVs! Just curious, will Sony continue to develop a newer version of A95L QD-OLED 4K and Z9K 8K HDR Mini LED this year or next year? Thank you!
I don’t have a Sony TV, but I’m still looking forward to getting one of their sound bar systems.
Same. Was going to get the HTA5000 just gonna wait for the theater bar 8!
If the Bravia 7 has the dimmable backlight that they showcased earlier this year, I’ll probably go with it. If not, I’ll have to decide between A95L and Bravia 9
The Bravia 7 has the same backlight system as the x95L. The Bravia 9 will have the new dimmable backlight. I’ll be honest as a current A80L owner I think I’m getting a Bravia 9. Won’t know for certain until I put up a display model in the Best Buy I work at
@@fps_lobotv thank you! Was hoping 7 had new one 😂 I have a80j and am thinking of using the warranty this year to upgrade to Bravia 9. Got what looks like 30 dead pixels in bottom left corner
Awesome Guys 😊
Nice review keep up the good work B the Installer
I just want a 43 inch full array tv
Wow! Everyone is posting Sony line up at the same time
Probably there was an embargo, to allow time for testing, and they were allowed to post as soon as the embargo expired.
The embargo dropped that’s why
Yea, they had to wait for sony to make the official announcement
I'm curious how the Bravia 8 will compare to the A95L.
I hope they officially released these model name for the TV because I'm more interested in Mini LED, the top of the line model that has a full array and a lot of dimming Zone hopefully come in a 65 or 75
Check out our page and you'll see!
The Bravia 9 comes in 65, 75, and 85 👍
SONY ✌🏻
Should i dump my X95L now? The Bravia now is the most important piece of technology ever released
Sony are not realising a 65" model for the bravia 9 in the UK
Thank you guys
Well damn. Do i need to upgrade my x90L now? 😂
Haha. I told you have a couple of 98" sitting around. Let's talk. The new tvs look great but again the x90l I'm sure is awesome. Hope all is well.
@@BTheInstaller yeah we are enjoying the new place and the new TV! We will definitely keep in touch when it comes time to upgrade. The Sony event looked like a blast!
In don't understand Sony, even their most expensive Bravia 9 85'', it only have 32GB On-board Storage memory. How hell you gonna install some apps/
Not to mention the system will take few GigaBytes off that 32Gb. Which leaves probably 25GB only.
Expensive TV should have at least 256GB on-board memory!
What happened to 4, 5 & 6?
So the a95L don’t have a replacement ? Never mind you answered the question in the video , wonder how the G4 is going to compare to the 95L
G4 is going to be very bright, have improved motion processing from the G3, and have 144hz gaming. I would say you can’t go wrong either way but I’ll always go Sony for my own reasons
Is the Sony bravia minled 7 gloss screen?
Yes. All professional TVs and monitors are glossy. You will never find an Apple product, or movie monitor with a blurry matte screen.
Gloss>Matte. When you watch a movie like avatar 2 and see the underwater shots on a gloss screen it makes the screen look like it’s actually wet in comparison to a matte screen. S95D is a miss imo but to each their own
@@fps_lobotv gloss screens are the best, even an edge lit tv with a glossy screen looks better than some mini LEDs in light conditions rooms.once you go glossy you can't go back.
sony should release a new firmware for ht-a9, they havent resolved yet the dropouts issue for ht-a9
Sony's latest promotion offers a pair of free sunglasses with the purchase of a Bravia 9 TV🤣🤣
The MSRP for the 85" X95L in USA last year was $5,799. This Bravia 9 is listed at $5,499. Everyone was bracing for "Z" series prices. So Sony did a solid here with the prices.
The 75" is $3,999. Which is $5-600 less than S95D and G4 at 77".
I truly do believe the Bravia 9 in a lit room will equal or beat the top end OLEDs. In a dark room the OLEDS will show more contrast etc. But it's only in that environment and showing "OLED Demo" content. Which is kind of bogus and unfair.
95% of people, including OLED users sit in a room with some light and even bright lights. Few sit in a totally dark room.
The Color volume on the Bravia 9 will smoke the F out of a G4. I bet hitting close to QDOLED levels. Especially in brightness and retaining colors. HDR impact will be amazing.
Shadow detail with it being tuned to the 4K nits Mastering monitor. Oh boy will likely be one of the best out there. I really would love to see it head to head with A95L. Lights on and off and varied content.
I don't think I've seen a single comparison to OLED with X95L except by Brian at Value electronics. This TV is far better than X95L even.
Great video if only the contemporary story content matched the quality of these screens! Time to remaster the classics…
Maaan I really want a sony tv. But the prices man! I know it's quality but still.
Btw. I sit 4.5 meter from the wall . I currently have 55 inch . 65 looks lit bigger. 75 is expensive unless I pick a really budget tv. Is 65 size worth upgrading to
That's quite a distance. A Hisense 75" U8K would make sense. Especially for the price. Or the 98" TCL S5.
@@nobodysunderdog thank you. I will see if we have them in denmark
@@nobodysunderdog we got the tcl 98 p745 is that good
The best soundeffects are made with coconuts😀
I’m watching on a Sony x930e. Still a great tv.
U dirty dog u!
We want QN900D review.
Bravia 9 wins. End of review lol
So, with zero new 8K TVs mentioned for 2024 is it safe to wonder just how the up-coming PS5Pro will handle 8k?
Sony seems to be revamping a lot this year. Between the Alt speaker line, new alt headphones actually sounding good and now the bew bravia lines this seems like a setup for something pretty major. I literally just bought the ht-a9 but I cant imagine anything sounding better for movies right now
Did they bring up the panels being used for 7 and 9 ADS or ADS Pro. Also Sony has really changed the game hosting their own event at a later date instead of CES. Great marketing in
My opinion
VA panels.
@@Swecan76 👀?
I'm watching on a 900E...still looks good and going strong...but it is 7 years old.....
I have that tv in 65’ in the bedroom and got the 77’ a80j oled for the living room best decision. Still a great tv.😊
I am watching on my 900E right now too. I am upgrading to the Bravia 9. Haven't decided on 75 or 85 yet. I am on 65 now. Going to be amazing upgrade.
Nice I have the 65nin the bedroom the 77’ a80j in living now I want a 83’ oled pro the 80L but always go bigger if you can that’s what I learned lol.
100% agree with your thoughts about Bravia 7
No Brvia 9 in 65inch in uk redicloius what a let down
Yeah only 75" and 85"
That’s how we felt in the US when only the 85 x95L was available lol
I know nightmares don't know what their playing at
Looking forward to Sonys mini led flagship. Just wish they did 55
55 available for Bravia 7
I have a X90L and 😳 I want another Sony TV
I just got mines lol Sometime told me to be patient.
@@lawyerdhop I f 👍🏿 you I'm the same way 👍🏿
Bravia 7 would be a nice upgrade but at the same time the x90L will stay relevant in 2024 since it’s being carried over
Pretty much the only big issue with OLED is the high risk of burn-in. If the new Sony Mini LED is very close or even a little better than OLED, that settles it. No risk of burn-in is a big deal for gamers or people who use the TV as a PC monitor, since both tend to have certain things on the screen for hours at a time.
WOW 👑 SONY GOD FOREVER ✌️#1 👑
The monster is on the loose😊
Bravia 3 isn’t a replacement for X85L….more like X80L.
X85L has FALD and 120hz while Bravia 3 does not.
You guys work well together, ever consider dating? 😂
Привет из России!
Let me guess, still with only 2 hdmi 2.1 ports of which one is eARC?
Sony keeps living in the stone age, other brands offer all 4.
I wouldn’t brag Samsung QN900D got them beat for standard 4k 240 hz even when upscale to native 4k while gaming from pc or console as before 60 hz note they ripped off Sony design of make screen into giant speaker with 8 rear speakers.
Mr.B question, when all yall tv reviewers on here do your reviews how come it's all about the camafloge and not what really matters don't get me wrong all the bells and whistles are fine and all tvs have them some more then others but that's just camafloge the guts are way more important weather they're half stepping with cheep products or really using quality products on there insides most consumers would rather know about dependability, durability, and lifespand!!example, I've owned 2 hisense a75,&55 both died within 5 yrs junk!!!consumers don't want to have to replace tvs every 5 years
Your question is for manufacturers. I don't have your TV sitting in my house for 5 years straight testing it to see which one can last. In addition, all tvs break down, all brands have issues. You may want more, so go seek that info from all the sources that may offer it.
Since the release of the LG G4 it seems like LG is finally going to be crowned again this year...
No, the crown still belongs to the Sony A95L, which is still superior to the LG G4
The Bravia 9 will definitely be the king of LED based TVs. As far as 2024 oled I believe the G4 will win.
How could u Mr leave her behind & then bring her a $20 mug 🤦🏻♂️for shame lol😊
B your wife is gorgeous lucky man .
Only new 98 is a commercial tv with 5 year warranty really Sony come on.
B you have a beautiful wife❤
And let the Sony hype train begin. I may be the only one out there saying this but I aint impressed with Sony's 2024 lineup. Why? Because for one I don't like the stands/feet and two no 4 HDMI 2.1 Ports only 2. Plus I still have yet to be impressed with Mini LED. That being said. Great video B as always.
So basically the bravia 9 is not a flagship high brightness this is not everything A95L flagship is still the best Which should have been upgraded to the latest panel...
Dont buy sony product, very worst customer service in india, that's why sony mobiles stoped in india. Next TV also in that stage
Please stop glorifying the creator s intent. For real. I want my content vivid and striking and colorful. Period.
To each their own. I prefer skin tones to be accurate and shadow details visible.
Bravia 9 is not a flagship, at the end of the day it is just a glorified LCD TV, even though it should be very good, all the problems of blooming will still be there, all the problems of poor viewing angles will still be there, you can guarantee you that so this is not a flagship.... QDOLED any day is far better, it's not all about being as bright as possible...
The A90J is still the best
I couldn’t agree more!!
I love my A90J! 😎
Love the design of the a90j!
I just got the 77inch master series
A95L
It’s amazing. I keep hearing the A90J is the best.
I’m debating of buying it from Amazon the 83 inch n returning my 77inch
Please explain why the A90J is the best compared to the A95L
there is no 55 inch Bravia9.
the sony 7 85 inch, is coming soon at Best Buy for $3,500, so sony 9 85inch will be at $10,000 or more.....it`s SONY
Its below $6k
It's $5,500 for the 85" Bravia 9. Actually $299 less than X95L 85" has as MSRP.
Its 5500$
