Hello Miss, Thank you for the video, it has greatly helped me narrow down issues with my application. I recently applied for Emirates and attended an assessment day. I made it all the way to the final interview and later received a call to add some more documents that were missing from my application. However, after attaching an image I was missing, I received a rejection email stating that they would not be offering me a position at this time. Is it likely that higher management simply didn't agree with the recruiter or was the issue said image? This has really been weighing on my mind, thank you in advance ❤️
Hello, sorry for the late response. If the image wasn’t clear or it wasn’t meeting their photo standards then they would have just asked you to re-submit it. They may just rejected your application for another reason that unfortunately you will never know about. Hope you’re not too distressed by this now!

I have worked for Emirates and Fairmont Hotel before. And had a customer service experience, but Etihad automatically rejected me. Could it be because of my age? I am 38 yo. But I applied with them a long time ago and got interviewed but I didn't make it to finals.. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you
I got rejection emali today although i'm experienced cabin crew. I didn't put a cover letter in my resume because it is old fashioned and I didn't put a whole body photo.I used all the key words and aviation terminology in my resume. I thought my experince and skills will be enough but i was wrong 😂 i will re-examine my resume and work on cover letter before applying another airlines. And i'm gonna take full body photo in bussiness attire. I hope i can land a job 😅
Oh, that's disappointing, sorry to hear! I remember I once didn't get in with Emirates even after I had 5.5 years of experience under my belt, but then the last time I applied I got accepted (I didn't take it though). I guess it just depends on their requirements at the time!
@@katrinakaye7997 i think this is the best that im rejected. I heard there is lazy crew members who puts exstra work load on you. And people who has personality problems. I resigned from my old job because the toxic enviroment. I dont want to get in another one. So im glad they reject me. This experience allows me to work on my resume and other stuff. 😊

And i reapplyed now with a different email correctly & I've received an invitation and it's gonna be my first time going to the assessment day (hope to be lucky🤞) So is this gonna cause me a problem because i didn't wait for 6 months i was not rejected in the assessment day I just got rejected from the system because i didn't apply well So please what do u think 🤔

Hello, I can't know the reason exactly but look at the criteria that they list on their website against the experience you have, and evaluate... you'll find what could be missing :)

Hello, i have applied to Emirates during september before i’ve turned 21 and they’ve sent me an invite to one of the locations but couldn’t make it, although in November this Year i’ve been to an Open day and went really smoothly and Nice ! but got an email i was unsuccessful even though all of my documents and Resume is good. Could it be i didn’t attend the invite? could it be it’s only been 2 months ? Could it be i just turned 21 ? Or is just that my resume or the quote of people is reached ? Thank you !
Hello, it's because you didn't attend the assessment day. I remember I also got the same unsuccessful letter with another airline once, and it was because I didn't go further in the process! You're still young so you have plenty of time to keep trying for Emirates or another airline in the Middle East. Just make sure you do everything to attend next time!

Hello! Yes it could be that they cancelled the assessment day in your city or that they just don’t need anymore cabin crew at this point in time. It won’t be long till they are hiring again, but Emirates are hiring now like crazy, have you thought of trying with them?
i have applied and i have recevied there response. that "they can't progress my application at this time". and i have heard from many other people in my country that they didn't get selected. never heard that there application got accepted ever. so, i think they aren't entertaining our country's people.

Generally they look for those under the age of 30, but I have seen people older than that get recruited.. so it’s just a matter of what they are looking for at the time. Apply again after 6 months but also apply to other airlines in the meantime! You never know if something better is out there. Good luck!

Hello, it's because you didn't attend the assessment day. I remember I also got the same unsuccessful letter with another airline once, and it was because I didn't go further in the process! When they reject you they send u an Email addressing it ?
@@nessy.7 they just tell you you’ve been unsuccessful, I don’t believe they say much else, and they certainly don’t give a reason unfortunately.
