This has the vibe of an episode that wasn't quite finished. The sound design is a bit weird in places and I was not expecting to see 7101 in Green partway through (or chuffing lol). But the filming of the models and sets was wonderful, and when the sound is there, it's quite nice! Well done! Y'know, with the odd issues I mentioned, I actually would believe this was another cancelled Season 2 episode!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this video since it certainly introduces Bear(D7101) who's NEVER even ACTUALLY made any appearances throughout the entire TV series since this story hadn't been adapted for the TV show, but he certainly had been making official appearances throughout various UA-cam videos! In fact, it's completely obviously clear that I'm personally watching 1 of those exact videos right now, and especially wanted to mention that I personally agree that they've been making Bear(D7101) ACTUALLY go through the process of making chuffing sounds like Steamies when he's ACTUALLY a diesel engine! In fact, it's completely obviously clear that he's basically a B R class 35 diesel-hydraulic locomotive!
Thats the only part of the story that confused me as a kid 😂 But its more down to a confusing part name, his regulator was jammed open, (Which is like a tap being fully open So the water flows ) His reverser, is the key part Technically its the directional control, ( i.e like a car gearbox) Forward, reverse, neutral So as it stood henrys driver couldnt stop the water flow, but COULD still operate him Hope that helps 😊 (Sorry for long explain)
I like the S2 feel replicated here, but there were several glaring issues/goofs that bugged me. 1. Lack of music for the opening scene. 2. A bit of missing or mediocrely-implemented SFX 3. Bear using puffing sounds. 4. Bear switching to his green livery immediately after the opening scene.
@@isaacm9138 I should also add, keep sound effects that are appropriate to the era, coz hearing sound effects from series sound kinda jarring in something meant to be set in series 2
In reality it would have been ideal to make a D199 model and then use the same model for Class 40 to save money, the Bear thing seemed a little unfair to me that it didn't appear at a moment, it is a nice diesel, but it seemed that I preferred Devious Diesel than the other Diesel engines
If Super Rescue will be adapted into real TV series like S2-S4 styles. Britt Allcroft should making D199 and Bear models for their budget limiting themselves and sadly it might be a lost episode media for a TV series like something rare or lost episode.
In one review of the story by once I find the UA-camrs name (I will put it in an edit) watched there was a version that used diesel and Daisy instead which means it could have been adapted for television but with some differences from the original Edit: the UA-camr is play don't write writer's pen
YOOOOO SUPER RESCUE

Can someone explain to me how Henry was suddenly able to go forward after stopping at the signal box?

I love how it ends at the classic 4:30 like the other classic engines
It was tiresome having to shorten the audio down to 4:30 but I can see it was worth it
Perfect, just like in the Golden era of Thomas but better👍

I'd say a reedit and reupload would be in order for next time!
Oh man, it's so difficult to get this story down to the Classic Standard of 4 mins 30 secs. Good job
I don’t think 7101 should be puffing like a steam train 😂
💀
@@isaacm9138 nor looking Green when Blue in the opening..other than that, not bad
@@NewController01 YO YOUR THAT GUY WITH ALL RWS UPLOADS
@@NewController01 Ive watched you channel for years
I had to rewind that part, I was like, "What?"
If they made this episode for the model third series. Bear and Diesel 199 would've been too expensive to make.

I’d prefer this story to be adapted in season 3 myself.
2:27 D7101's ejector had failed.
I would’ve loved to see Bear in the TVS
Me too he’s my favourite RWS character
1. the sfx is inaccurate
2. THE DIESEL DID A FKIN PUFFING SOUND

0:41 "How rude!" said 199.
0:43 "You asked for it," growled 7101, "now shut up."
how did you get the controller support to work on these engines when i try it it only works on sodor workshops thomas edward and gordon
Series 2(1986)
Narrated by:George Carlin
nice video but, can you put a link to the D199 and 7101 model?
so... no one s gonna talk about the fact that a steam engines puffing sfx was used for bear.
💀
Really good video but when did bear get repainted green?
17 hours till this is 24 hours or 1 day old
Why did 7101 change from blue to green?
mistake 💀
@@isaacm9138 it’s ok
