Left to my own devices in Andrew and Kevin Wood's music studio back in high school, their mom said she liked my drumming, the first time I sat down at a kit. I'd have played guitar that day, but I'd just been chewed out for plugging one into a bass amp and didn't want to risk the electric company reigning down terror on me.
