Excellent history lesson, the tour guide is a proper South African he knows what he's talking about. I will never visit the Voortrekker Monument, that's the equivalent of visiting a confederate monument/museum in America. My people suffered too much at the hands of the Voortrekkers, who proclaimed to be "Christian" yet did the most despicable things to our people.
