The young ruler shows that he kept that which is taught in the law, but he never turned from sin, as in attained to the law by faith but rather by works of the law, dead works.
When Jesus, knowing he loved money, commanded him to give up up that one thing that he loved more than God Hinself, he went away finding himself unworthy of eternal life.
He is so wrong, Jesus didn't merit righteousness, He believed His Father and lived by Him.
Jesus said "As the living Father sent me and I live by him...."
His very life is God being faithful to His promise from long ago, in Genesis 315 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Music is a bit distracting. Next , please lower the volume. Great clip, though.
