My suggestion is at the beginning of the any lesson Don't tell all the usages of any phrase or verb. First explain the first usage of phrase or verb with examples. Later, the second, the third so on.... At the end of the lesson, review all usages. Not at the beginning itself. From learner perspective, he/she grasps easily. BJ Reddy
