    I'm a 66 year old male rock fan, my favourite bands being The Who, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd in that order, but the first time I heard London Grammar was: ua-cam.com/video/u-EqrbsO4kE/v-deo.html and was SO impressed by Hannah's voice, but also after watching more clips of their performances, the band as a whole

    My voice tends to be bright and high, so I struggle with lower ranges. I tried the sighing trick, I could feel my throat opening up, and omg it worked! So much more full and deep.

      @@ZoeStibiVocalCoach I just wanted to give it a try lol. I'm only a casual singer, but what you said about timbre made sense and I was curious. Now I have that exercise in my back pocket for future use!

    Er.. you’re over thinking it. She was just singing. And she’s a good singer. She’s singing from emotion not your bollocks.

      Lol when you think singers who are as trained as her are just "singing from emotion" the joke is defo on you. Give her credit where credit is due, this is pure skill and not luck

    Saw them in Cardiff in October of last year. Her voice was absolutely stunning that night as always and those young guys are great musicians. Sublime!!!

    Separate voice classification could be quite interesting ! I've always thought it was about the range only despite doing choir for so long. So it's not clear at all :D

    • @ZoeStibiVocalCoach
      @ZoeStibiVocalCoach  2 роки тому +3

      Elsa! Exactly! A lot of people think that way because it sometimes is about range due to the roles that are written for the voice however it is more about timbre. Fab I'll start the planning!

    The lower range is not my strength but your explanation on how to do it is genius!
