the punch is bad enough, her other move is to walk up to someone, grab their head and then just slam it straight into the ground. with her hands. not even with her body weight on their head, just grab, and throw their head down slightly and they just slam right into the ground like they just got the weight on an entire person on their head, or like they suddenly turned into a person made out of wet noodles.

Disagree, AJ has been on the record for months that his most-anticipated games of the year were Black Myth: Wukong, and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. And guess what, both of those games came out within the span of a few weeks. He says it right at the beginning too that he’s reviewing both.
@@heyblaise Yeah, sorry. Everything about this rapid review and every other review tells you that this game is boring. You can absolutely disagree, but everything else points to boring and a not-worth-while game.
i have one positive thing to say about the game it seems it is only suitable at 40% ++ off for daddy to buy his 8 yo son ( who is a star wars fan ) for xmass, someone with limited expectations, not for experienced gamers
The thing that made me lose it in just laughter and disappointment. (Spoiler alert) At the end of chapter 1, when Waka betrayed Kay. Then, IMMEDIATELY afterwards, a complete stranger is on her ship and asks her to trust him about his plan about doing a big heist and she gladly goes along with him when JUST BEFORE, she said she's done trusting other people and that it'll just be her and her animal companion. I looked at the screen in simple disbelief, in laughter, of how bad the writing actually is. I don't understand how experienced writers and developers actually green lit this game's writing. Exploration is the best it has going for it.
What choice does she have though? He presents the best chance she has of ever being free from being hunted down forever. Even given what she just said it doesn't seem that absurd to me to go with this plan, and she does not trust ND-9 for some time after.
How am I supposed to take this game seriously when I grew up with Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid, HITMAN, etc? The stealth takedowns in this game are some of the worst we've ever seen.
Exactly I was a huge fan of the original splinter cell games and Ubisoft developed them. The enemy AI in those games from 2000 and six or probably even earlier are light years ahead of the stuff they're putting out today. It just **** me off.
And to think Ubisoft started the Assassin’s Creed games. They should know how to do stealth. …But I guess we all know the state of the Assassin’s Creed games at this point,
I suspect it's more that they don't want to criticize certain design elements than a lack of time. The joes have really doubled down lately on omitting certain information that exposes for lack of a better term "woke failures". sadly much like more mainstream media, they have started deleting any comments that contradicts the info they put out in their videos.
Here's the thing, Ubisoft should be getting used not owning my money. Don't care if the game is good, mid or fucking terrible, out of principle I won't play (and much less PAY) anything this company produces - period.
Same here, brother. I will not play even a pirated Outlaws and I will pirate Shadows, because, despite being racist towards Japanese people and disrespectful to their history, it’s still set in Feudal Japan, so I would be happy to experience this atmosphere for couple of days. The one thing that gets my attention is real-life size map, unlike othet AC and, mosty, all open world games. I’m curious how they will execute that. But yeah, no money to Ubisoft, Instead of that I will buy KCD2
Yeah this fact literally stopped me from buying the game. Bare knuckle hitting a dude in armor for every takedown in a STEALTH game was just a bridge too far for me.
for real. She's not a jedi, nor a mandalorian or a super strong droid. She's just a mediocre scoundrel. Freaking Greedo is an underworld boss compared to her, yet she runs around knocking out stormtroopers with her bare hands. Heck, she doesn't even wear gloves. What are these helmets made of? cotton candy? Just give her a stun baton, a shock ring or something. It's STAR WARS for crying out loud, she could have a shock spoon in her pocket for all I care. Just something.... ANYthing.
She is knocking Stormtroopers out with one punch on the helmet?! Who is this girl? I thought helmets were invented to prevent this sort of thing from happening🤷
Consumers can speak with their wallets, Concord is only the most recent example. C Keep ignoring Ubisoft's mediocrity, and they'll have to adapt or die.
They'll die ... Ubisoft is completely controlled by corporate numbties, who would not know a good game if you hit them over the head with the deluxe edition. They will react to bad sales the only way they know: with budget cuts, layoffs and increased predatory microtransactions on top, because they do not understand the first thing about the market they sell to.
I think most former fans of their games, including myself, is hoping for the complete destruction of ubisoft so that their IP may have a chance before its too late. Ubi has already done the irreversible to themselves but AC,. Anno, world in conflict, ground control, and tom clancy's series may survive under now IP ownership.
I'm glad we had 2023, because that's not going to come around again for probably a decade. Keep building that Steam library, folks. Remember the good times...
If there is one way that SW: Acolyte compares favorably to SW: Outlaws, it's that in Acolyte helmets actually protect the wearer, and if someone punches a helmet wearer they get injured not the person wearing the helmet. Acolyte may not understand how the Force, fire, or numerical advantage works, but at least they understand how a helmet works.
Another Ubisoft open world game! Nice! I'll put it in the bin with the others. Seriously, the only thing that Ubisoft seems to be able to do is create great world maps. Maybe they should stick to that and sell those world maps to people that actually know how to fill them with interesting stories and stuff.

My biggest beef with the game is not having a list of completed quests after you do them. Or any count on the collectibles you've gathered. I don't need games to hold my hand, but it makes it very hard to 100% these types of games to the point where I'm not going to bother with all collectibles in this just focus on quests
If they could make a star wars game with the world design and building of Witcher 3, the map travelling system of mass effect and the combat system of jedi survivor......that game would be a dream. Just exploring worlds and the class system was your role like jedi, bounty hunter etc etc. A proper star wars RPG.
Sounds good to me. Except Ubisoft isn’t the team to make that game. They don’t execute on the fundamentals like facial animations and expressions, writing, and innovative gameplay. It needs to be one of the top tier studios. And that game you described is very similar to KOTOR 1 & 2. Hopefully the remake gets made and is quality. The team making the remake is Saber Interactive, the studio that just made the new Space Marine 2 game.

I agree. The game is half-cooked. It looks like a decent foundation, but everything about the game is half-finished. If only they had a few more years to finish it up. @@bjornjunker6320It literally plays exactly like Far Cry, except with a lot more forced stealth which is clumsy so it feels like a job and a chore more than a game.
Most of the negative reviews seem to be coming from people trying to play this stealth game like an action game. This game is far from perfect, but even for someone who isn't a SW fan, I'm having a good time exploring the open world, finding all the unmapped locations & doing my best to stealth through as much as possible.
The problem with Ubisoft is that they make an open world first and foremost, and then decide to put a bunch of boring crap in it. Rather than creating a fun game, and designing the open world around it.
@@LimmeLimbo With "boring crap", I am referring to the typical Ubisoft design of copy-pasting a bunch of collectibles and repetitive side missions across the maps in their games, and calling it a day. It's as by the books for Ubisoft as it gets. Often a lot of scenery like buildings also get copy pasted a lot in Ubisoft games. Compare an open world of GTA or Fallout or even Subnautica, to anything from Assassin's Creed or Far Cry or most typical Ubisoft titles. Generally there's a lot more interesting stuff to explore. Areas are more memorable and interactive because of landmarks. Whereas in most Ubisoft games, everything mostly feels the same. I can recognize pretty much every area in a GTA, Fallout and Subnautica, because it's unique , and it still remains interesting to go exploring in these maps. I can not say the same for the maps in Assassin's Creed or Far Cry for example. And it's generally not really interesting to explore the map in a lot of cases.

What about the reskinned RPG games CDPR keeps making? What about the “same” linear stories Naughty-dog keeps making? What about Activision’s Call of Duty? What about EA’s sports games? No game company literally makes “reskinned” games, and if Ubisoft does then so does the companies I just mentioned, so yall need to hang that shit up. Ubisoft’s side missions aren’t any more “repetitive” than side missions in other games lol. They’re all just little side stories with varying rewards, the real question is why do yall feel the need to nitpick so harshly when it’s Ubisoft? You don’t have the same energy for other companies. This is what I mean with you people. Yall say vague things and repeat the “buzzwords” you hear other people say. Based on what you tell me it sounds like you haven’t ever played a Ubisoft game. Everything you “know” is from what other people tell you. Yes they have collectibles, but they also have interesting points of interest and secret bosses scattered in their worlds as well, just as the other games you mentioned have. If you don’t know any interesting points of interest then you clearly just didn’t care to play their games enough to know them. Fallout 4 only recently started getting put on a pedestal many years later after being unreasonably shat on at release(just like many of Ubisoft’s games). I personally think you either get all your information from online, you haven’t played many of their games at all, or you are just so impressionable that all it really takes is seeing other people on the internet disagree with you before you immediately fold.
@@LimmeLimbo Oh boy. I can clearly see you have no clue what game design revolves around. If you can't see the gigantic difference in effort between Fromsoft, R* and CDPR compared to Ubisoft games, then you're either delusional or have no clue what you're talking about. I'm sorry, but that's really how it is. The only thing you are correct about is sports games. Those are also very lazy copy-paste jobs most of the time. Also, when I mentioned copy-pasting, I meant the actual copy pasting of the game's assets in the actual game itself. I wasn't saying that every sequel was a copy paste job from the last game. Look at AC, most buildings look the same. Look at GTA, and most buildings are unique. Yes, every game re-uses some assets, and that's fine, but Ubisoft takes it to the extreme. It's sad you have to be a fanboy for Ubisoft and defend them for their mediocrity. You deserve better. And if you felt attacked for liking Ubisoft games, don't be. I myself also play Ubisoft games from time to time. Like AC for example. But I can't deny that there's a lot of mediocrity in the repetition of the gameplay, and there's no interesting reason to explore. I don't understand who this game was for.
Didn't you think Fallout was good? Or maybe it was Mandalorian? How can you accurately criticize this game and call Andor boring? How can you celebrate Mandalorian? Outlaws is the video game equivalent. Mandalorian is part of why this garbage game exists.
@@alicea3421 Lol what're you talking about? Andor is so trash it literally had a three-minute scene of a guy eating cereal while his mom berates him. That scene alone cost 300,000+$ to make. If you think that type of writing and money spending is good and really propelled the show and was worth the 20.8 million$ an episode than that's you. But I will be here with the people who have critical thinking skills. The show started the same way it ended. Looking for his sister. This game is at least something new and not a side story about a side character we saw in a movie one time, turned into a multi Million$ show, 250+MILLION$ show (Got to think about marketing too). For reference the Obi Wan show was 90 million$ only. For further reference Mando was 120 Million overall with longer episodes, more action, more sets, more CGI than Andor had by ALOT. Make it make sense. An overpriced show where the main plot is not resolved or even pushed forward for the entire Season one and is kicked down like a can to season 2. And Mando Season one and two have complete arcs and stories that also still kept an over arcing story to maintain interest. Mando Season 3 was trash. Everyone knows that. It did exactly what andor did, the ending ends where the series began, with grogu and mando together, a reset so to speak. Meaning all of Season 1 and 2 was pointless, just like the ending of Andor makes the entire series up to that point pointless and just regurgitates the main plot to try and get you to come back again. "OH we never solved the main plot in season one...come back to season two so we can repeat the scenes again but this time he's officially a rebel for no real actual reason! Just cause he mad!" ? Look for your sister scumbag, it makes no logical sense. He's a POS and doesn't give a fuck about his sister. It's a fake plot point that ruins the entire show and the pace of the show. I could rant about Andor for hours.
@@refugeehugsforfree4151 You wrote the same as before. You ignored me last time. Oh no. The whole "it cost this much" nonsense again. This is what you wrote last time: "Andor literally had a three minute scene of a guy eating cereal while his mom berates him. That scene probably cost like 200k$. How is that show even remotely good? Nothing happened. literally nothing. We end the show the same way it started, looking for his sister while he looks sideways and the camera does a close up. The most boring\mundane Star Wars live action show ever created with no creativity just copy pasta from other better movies. Mando Season one and two IS STAR WARS. Andor is some side project crated by a man who overtly said he HATES (His own words) Star Wars. Andor is just a money laundering scheme. It got more funding than Obi Wan...???" Why do you care so much about the cereal scene and the cost? I'm also predisposed to dislike Andor as he's the disney replacement for Kyle Katarn and Rogue One wasn't particularly great. As someone that does care about that sister plot point more than most, due to my own personal relationships, I can still recognize it's just not what the show's about. I agree it can make his motivation seem inconsistent. The point before he's arrested, after the heist why isn't he trying to find her? The context that we have implies he doesn't have any leads beyond what led him to the inciting incident. It doesn't mechanically break anything. It doesn't damage his character, we have no reason to believe he'd be capable of finding her. He was tied to the world he lived in, without owning transport. Just because it's our first introduction to him, it doesn't mean it's his driving motivation. They've clearly been separated for decades and the lead is "someone that might look like they're from the same planet". I don't know why you think it's the main plot point. I personally might have liked it to be. But ultimately in season 1 it's mostly just a plot and thematic device. Fallout is awful, but it also ends with a main character looking for a family member. Does that mean that nothing happened? They have new relationships, new motivations. Andor is in a better position to be able to find his sister than he was. I don't know why it cost so much more. It seemed to be in production a lot longer. During pandemic. On location sets rather than that awful volume stage. 12 episodes instead of the 8 or 6. But the problem is always writing quality. Obi-Wan getting those things doesn't make it much better. It didn't need more episodes, it already seems stretched. The issue is always writing quality. Contrived nonsense like Bail showing up on Tatooine or Kenobi losing his comms for Reeva to find and Bail broadcasting unencrypted for her to hear. Does additional millions resolve that? There are not fundamentally broken writing flaws like that in Andor. There are plenty in all seasons of The Mandalorian. Season 1 is absolutely no exception. What exactly is new about Outlaws? It's like The Mandalorian meets Solo. Good guy scoundrel with a non vocal pet certainly doesn't scream original. Do you think the story is better than Andor? You seem to look at it as themes, arcs and plot points. But it has to at least make sense for that to carry any weight. Else you get something like Fallout where there are constant pay-offs facilitated by the most contrived nonsense. Some are even decent ideas, but the mechanics of the story never bolster it. Outlaws features a "betrayal" from someone Kay has spoken to for less than a minute, the game wants you to believe that they're friends. She's shocked, yet they don't even know each other well enough for it constitute betrayal. Her actions in the vault with the rebels, that lead to her meeting with Sliro. It's all embarrassing. It's probably worse than all of the shows and aside from Andor, none of them are close to good.
The punching for stealth is so weird. Is it a Han Solo thing? That he punches Lando or the meme of him punching a giant otter in the old comics? And that she has to do that because she is the "scoundrel" class and must do everything Han done. All they had to to do was add a stunbaton or something, and it wouldn't look as stupid.
Saw a hot take that the game felt like they started dev on Beyond Good and Evil 2 and then pivoted to this when Disney offered a bag of money. Does that sound viable, Alex?
If I know a game has been made by Ubisoft it's an instant meh from me. The times of Ubisoft bringing out bangers for games are long gone we will never see the Ubisoft we loved growing up again. I'm 44 and I do remember the bangers they made
SPOILERS... Why I agree with some of Alex's criticisms. I don't agree with the mechanic "WAKA" he pointed out. There is a story reason why WAKA the mechanic wants you to find another mechanic. Another thing is while some of Kaye's takedown animations does not make sense "Knocking someone with just 1 punch, She will be able to upgrade her takedown to a taser to deal with heavy/big enemies. Other than than great review as always!

@@kenpachiramasama1139 There's plenty that does seem like it could be average. But everything surrounding it is flawed. I don't see anything that it does well. With something like Skyrim, where it does a lot and almost everything it does is average or sometimes slightly above, you could see how it would be more than the sum of its parts. This game should be the reverse of that. Outlaws doesn't do a lot and everything it does is ruined by something else. Fallen Order got favorable reviews just off of being an EA Star Wars game with no microtransactions after their Battlefront 2. Despite that leaving it with nothing to unlock beyond ponchos hidden in labyrinths to pad its short play time. Sometimes from a meta perspective, it's obvious why a game might get a couple of points higher than it deserves. It's always less impressive than it sounds. I really have no idea with this one. The novelty of it being the first open world Star Wars game? (that's hardly open world and half of the the planets are from the sequels. Filled with Disney show tier characters and dialogue)
For the last 10 years Ubisoft is where all the least talented developers in the industry have gone to work and it shows in the low quality slop they've released. Maybe they should start worrying less about politics and start caring more about releasing games that aren't shit.
As someone who has played like, almost every Ubisoft AAA game since 2007 with the original AC, the drop-off in quality just in the last couple of years is kind of insane. Even narrowing it down to Massive, Division 2 has some of the best cover shooting and player (but not facial) animations in all of gaming, I don't know you get to Outlaws from that. Ubisoft used to reliably put out 7 or 8/10 games that you could enjoy as long as you set your expectations accordingly. AC Shadows is looking similarly bad, it's going to be the first AC game I've ever skipped completely.

Not knocking on Alex's review here, but I'm just saying I really miss those old legendary reviews.
i mean, at the end of the day, Outlaws is still Star Wars and Space Marine 2 is... well... ugh... Warhammer 40k... and Warhammer 40k will ALWAYS be inferior to Star Wars.
I liked outlaws. The atmosphere of the game was really good, and I actually felt like I was in the Star Wars universe as smuggler way in over my head. Was it perfect? I'd be lying if I said yes, there were many bugs that caused me to have to reload. But I really did have fun overall. I wish they had more time time to work on it or the people in charge cared more about it. There was a lot of potential for something really great, and it ended up being just ok. Hopefully, we get more like outlaws with better polish and more time to be properly developed.
Man i wish theangryjoeshow went in hard and roasted outlaws with a full review but if Ubisoft not gotta put in effort in developing their games the. I guess they don’t even deserve proper reviews.

Honestly, this game lost me the moment they decided you can knock out Stormtrooper with a punch to the head with your fist (while not being Wookie or combat droid)
Just zapped through, some notes: 1) dead fast: around 9:00 one of the last areas is shown where the hero has only 3 health bars - you can get up to ~9-10 health bars 2) enemies sponges later on: with the blaster module upgraded you can kill whole group of enemies with 1-2 shots in the last missions especially on max difficulty 3) combat is easy even on max difficulty, just equip the shirt with more adrenaline on hit and belt with heal on adrenaline kill (both buyable on the first planet) after a handful shots the adrenaline mode is available and you can kill up to 6 enemies instantly, even hard ones Of course this means you need to do the side content and don't rush the main story.
Come on, this game is rated 8-16 years old where kiddo can force-punch troopers, focus for 4 hours to fetch 3 things, and learn how to handle another betrayal. All and all, not a bad AI generated single player game that's children friendly.
Ubisoft games have gotten to the point where they aren’t even worth doing full reviews on.

The problem with Ubisoft is that they make an open world first and foremost, and then decide to put a bunch of boring crap in it.
Rather than creating a fun game, and designing the open world around it.
Why is it “boring crap”? Can you elaborate on that?

Andor is just a money laundering scheme. It got more funding than Obi Wan...???"
Why do you care so much about the cereal scene and the cost?
Don't remind me of the bad character models. They did dirty to the model behind Kat Vass.
What i wonna know is how is she knocking out those dudes with helmets with her little fist.
4 years is a long time for this mess. Can we just go back to make games that works and takes like 2-3 years to finish?
The punching for stealth is so weird.
Is it a Han Solo thing? That he punches Lando or the meme of him punching a giant otter in the old comics? And that she has to do that because she is the "scoundrel" class and must do everything Han done.
All they had to to do was add a stunbaton or something, and it wouldn't look as stupid.
6/10 is so generous for Alex 😭 more like a 4/10 imo
Saw a hot take that the game felt like they started dev on Beyond Good and Evil 2 and then pivoted to this when Disney offered a bag of money. Does that sound viable, Alex?
Wouldn't be surprised if that was true.
Proably Alex's best review so far imo. Well scripted.
If I know a game has been made by Ubisoft it's an instant meh from me. The times of Ubisoft bringing out bangers for games are long gone we will never see the Ubisoft we loved growing up again. I'm 44 and I do remember the bangers they made
Wow angry Joe dosen't want to do games review anymore
Beyond inaccurate, try again
0:55 hair styles is everywhere!!!!
And he ain’t even a black human lol
Huh. 6/10 seems a little generous. I was expecting 5/10 at best.
I really do wonder what game actually has going for it. Just looking at gameplay it’s 4/10. I guessing it good at immersion in the universe if you let it. I played games like that though and once you fall out of it the game just atrocious.
I was expecting 4/10 from the points he was making. Gifted this game with a 6, for whatever reason.
@@kenpachiramasama1139 It's hard to be immersed in a universe with only idiot characters. Or with Kay talking to herself every moment, sighing before every line that she delivers like a valley girl.
The story is atrocious, characters and relationships are nonsense, even gameplay wise the AI is broken.
@@alicea3421 yeah that what I thought but most reviews can’t seems to spot below average or average game any more. I starting to think the bar been lowered, cause not many reviewer knows what fives is. Cause if play games that came out before that are exactly this or better I don’t how you can say that above average.
Facts. They hire new developers for cheap and thats why every game they release are so buggy.
*cough* Sony *cough* Concord *cough*
As someone who has played like, almost every Ubisoft AAA game since 2007 with the original AC, the drop-off in quality just in the last couple of years is kind of insane. Even narrowing it down to Massive, Division 2 has some of the best cover shooting and player (but not facial) animations in all of gaming, I don't know you get to Outlaws from that. Ubisoft used to reliably put out 7 or 8/10 games that you could enjoy as long as you set your expectations accordingly. AC Shadows is looking similarly bad, it's going to be the first AC game I've ever skipped completely.
Alex has been nice with the stealth segments of this game, he didn't talk about the terrible AI and the poor level design.
That quick time event sequence while eating irritates me so much, it goes on for waaaay too long
7:24 Someone needs to go to jail for picking that face style.
At least to art school!😅
This type of game should have been a huge hit, but Ubisoft made it.
Honestly, this score is the same for almost all Ubisoft games. Expected nothing more or less
The only thing Massive Ubislop are good at is making interesting looking environments and when it comes to games... they don't even know what they are.
5:33 - that Speederbike trooper (without a speederbike?), just standing there oblivious to his colleagues fate, staring off mindlessly into the distance as you crouch run him.... says it all to me.
Actually at 5:30, you can see him reacting to it!
But I guess he just refuses to look left - maybe HR had warned him not to look at his comrades in case they felt uncomfortable about it!
6:43 cant be real. That cant actually be in the game.
Its not lol its obviously edited but thats definitely still real
You can literally look up how glitchy the game is
Ubisoft just needs to go away. Permanently.
That could happen. Their stock prices are failing and sales for this game are poor.

I remember when joe would review games all the time but now he does rapid fire reviews witch is a slap to tje face to all of his fans that grow up with this channel... it feels like gaming has become secondary
My brain has been trained to immediately "BOOOOO: Ubisoft at the very mentioned of their name.
And EA and ACTIVISION
As a starwars fan I knew this game was going to hilariously bad, glad I'm not one of the fools who had pre-ordered this Ubi trash. Probably would have been a great game if under a different developer and a stronger writing team IMO.
Sounds to me you have become a crybaby
6/10 is hilariously bad? are understand that you didn't liked it, but review doesn't share you point.
@@ripayanamiThe review score does not really fit what was said in the review. Should be more of a 4 out 10 based on the review.
Must be tough to be one of the artists in charge of the open world at Ubisoft and making consistently good work while other departments... not so much.
She looks like an 80s hairdresser
Doesn't she remind you of the actress for snow white?
A quick time event for eating food? Are you serious? Just gonna gloss over that? Yeah? . . . Okay...
I watched some gameplay UA-cam videos displaying just how shockingly bad the AI is.
I was skeptic and dismissed the videos as “exaggerating.” Then I played it for myself with friends. NOPE. Not an exaggeration!
Anyone else miss the old school Angry Joe reviews where it's just him ranting about the game in front of a green screen? No boring arm chair discussions that just goes on forever or needless deep dives. Just Joe giving his take with entertaining and inventive skits and clips woven in. I miss that format.
Not knocking on Alex's review here, but I'm just saying I really miss those old legendary reviews.
IGN thought this was better than Space Marine 2 btw
...
They are r-word.
What are you talking about? They gave Space Marine II an 8 and Outlaws a 7…
i mean, at the end of the day, Outlaws is still Star Wars and Space Marine 2 is... well... ugh... Warhammer 40k... and Warhammer 40k will ALWAYS be inferior to Star Wars.
I remember when AngryJoe only did Angry Reviews and that they were actually good.
Oh, and top 10 lists of worst/best games.
RIP angryjoeshow. It's just a boring movie, tv and board game channel now. These rapid fire reviews are just every other reviews out there.

Now i want Alex as a narrator. Damn this is nice to listen
Man i wish theangryjoeshow went in hard and roasted outlaws with a full review but if Ubisoft not gotta put in effort in developing their games the. I guess they don’t even deserve proper reviews.
Madden gets a full review every year tho
@@coreymckee4844 That's my point.
@@Tatmeister689tbf Madden reviews are a long time tradition for Joe.

Damn Joe, this game would had been a perfect opportunity for another “Ride To Hell” moment review.
Oh brother... that ship sailed a long time ago. Joe is barely Joe anymore
In my opinion, I would have loved a Fast and Furious Crossroads moment review. Next time if there’s a game that makes him that very angry. He should just do the Power Rangers intro again.
Honestly, this game lost me the moment they decided you can knock out Stormtrooper with a punch to the head with your fist (while not being Wookie or combat droid)
Heck the gal could of at least had a mechanical arm...right? BE more INCLUSIVE! lol to people missing limbs!
Just zapped through, some notes:
1) dead fast: around 9:00 one of the last areas is shown where the hero has only 3 health bars - you can get up to ~9-10 health bars
2) enemies sponges later on: with the blaster module upgraded you can kill whole group of enemies with 1-2 shots in the last missions especially on max difficulty
3) combat is easy even on max difficulty, just equip the shirt with more adrenaline on hit and belt with heal on adrenaline kill (both buyable on the first planet) after a handful shots the adrenaline mode is available and you can kill up to 6 enemies instantly, even hard ones
Of course this means you need to do the side content and don't rush the main story.
This is the first honest review/opinion I have seen on this game, and kind of what I was feeling from watching various streams of it. Thank you.
Come on, this game is rated 8-16 years old where kiddo can force-punch troopers, focus for 4 hours to fetch 3 things, and learn how to handle another betrayal. All and all, not a bad AI generated single player game that's children friendly.
