    Another great video, thanks Amanda! Would love if it if you could do a video on how you get your horses cross country fit, how often/far do they gallop, do you use a heart rate monitor etc 😊

    what's been the biggest challenge you've had to overcome in your riding career (has there ever been an experience that almost made you want to stop riding)? xxx

    Hi Amanda,
    Awesome video as always. Just wondering if you could post the link or item number for your ariat volant tall boots. They are exactly what i am after with side zip and elastic but I cannot find them only with a front zip or rear zip.
    Thankyou!

    This is a great video, I learned so much about you and the horses. Hope there will be more.
    I know you look tiny, but you're actually taller than me. I'm not good with the non-metric, but I got my height to be between 5 and 5'1.
    Your first pony was so cute, reminds me of my first pony, although he was conniearab and 137cm

    My new horse is brown with a star. A change for me after having greys, chestnuts and pintos for 40+ years.

    So this one is from my son (he’s 7) and he wants to know how you become a brave rider! He sometimes gets nervous if his pony is “in the zoom-zoom” lane

    Hooter and Vendi have backwards barn names! It makes way more sense now that I know they have the same sire and that Vendi is called after their papa! The first event vlog where you put up their registered names on the screen I thought you had them backwards! :)

      lizzyrbits don’t worry, so did we! We kept calling Vendi ‘Will’, & Hughie ‘Vendi’🤣

    any tips for younger people looking to get into the equestrian industry (specifically eventing) as a job

    I know that a professional equestrian career is all consuming, but what do you like too do to unwind, have some 'Amanda' time and chill in between training, competing and your daily routine?

      Chavelli Sulikowski I love the gym! I also do Pilates, yoga, as well as meditation classes. I usually (when not it lockdown!) go to my gym every morning, or sometimes go for a walk/run/stair climb. Then grab a coffee & do my daily errands. I live near the beach, so any sight of the water makes me feel very grounded! It’s definitely my ‘Amanda time’.😊

    Would you consider a non-standard breed for eventing if the horse had talent?

    • @amandarosseventingfit6803
      @amandarosseventingfit6803  4 роки тому

      Standardbred Adventures yes, I would have any horse who showed the talent, ride ability & soundness for the job!!

    Do your Ariat Tallboots zip down when you ride? I love mine and they are fully broken in but they always zip down when I ride. It is becoming annoying because they won’t stay zipped.

    • @emmabowland2805
      @emmabowland2805 4 роки тому

      Mine did when i was breaking them in but haven't recently since i finished breaking them in. Truth be told tho, i dont fully zip them over my calf until im in the saddle just because im too lazy to zip them up all the way😂😂. Maybe that helps???

    • @amandarosseventingfit6803
      @amandarosseventingfit6803  4 роки тому +1

      Addie H do yours have a little leather flap under the button/press stud at the top? If so, there’s a hole in it where you slip the zip through, which keeps it from sliding down!

    Very fun vlog. Thank you. Looking forward to B & C. You're probably going to hate me for this but I was curious about what Rialto looked like, so I googled the two of you. There is a very funny photo of the two of you here: www.gettyimages.ca/detail/news-photo/amanda-ross-of-australia-on-wynella-rialto-jumps-awkwardly-news-photo/1003981
