Admitt it Clay needed Jeff more than anyone. He was the ultimate wingman. So many lives could be saved if he was alive, because Hannah never dies as long as Jeff is alive.
Clay talking to Jeff's parents is when I ugly cried. I don't know why, but Jeff's death hit me harder than Hannah's. He was just genuinely a great person. His death was tragic and the fact people thought he was drunk was even worse. Clay giving his parents that closure was really emotional.
Not the same. Jeff constantly pushed him to pursue Hannah and providing the emotional maturity to sustain a relationship. Hannah would be alive if Jeff was alive. He was never replaced really.
