  • Performed on the 25th, 26th & 27th February 2016 in the Paul McCartney Auditorium at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Saligia explores the seven deadly sins and their opposing virtues following the rise, rebellion and downfall of the fallen angel, Lucifer.
The title Saligia is taken from the first letters of the seven deadly sins in Latin.
Each sin has an opposing virtue which, if practised, is thought to help resist temptation towards the forbidden.
For this production, we asked professional choreographers encompassing a range of dance styles to use the concept of a sin/virtue as a stimulus and to develop their ideas around this.
    Performed by third-year Dance students.
