At last! How to set the compass!! I thought mine was broken but i followed the clear instructions you gave and it now works! Thank you Sir! THE WATCH IS ABOUT 12 YEARS OLD AND KEEPS PERFECT TIME. ( WATCH-TIMEX INTELLIGENT QUARTZ COMPASS INDIGLO).
Thanks, that was just the job for setting up. Not sure how I feel about my new watch yet. Legibility of time isn't immediate on the lighter face but I'll probably get used to it. As I have a beach for swimming and live in a hiking area it'll be useful. I'll wear it for the next week and see how I feel then.
For legibility, I would set the complication hand to temperature instead of high tide or low tide. At least it will stabilize that hand from moving and be less confusing as a hand to look at for the time that is definitely a bit trickier on this one, but still a great watch.
You have a knack for finding the coolest Timex watches Chris. This and the Waterbury chrono you had on some time ago are probably the nicest looking Timex watches i've seen, at least in the last couple of years. Absolutely love the analog display for the sensors on this watch. Sure, not the most readable, but very cool. The lug design is a bit disappointing, with the 16mm width. This one is definitely one of the very coolest ones and what’s available on the website now even better with sapphire crystals, little more money but a super cool tool watch here for sure!!
I was having a hard time deciding between the steel bracelet one and the leather one. I only liked that the steel one had sapphire but liked the off-white face better. And it looks more comfortable and practical for long hikes

Sounds like you should return yours for another or refund if you don’t like the watch. If I had issues with this one I would have and Amazon would have given me no grief over it, where did you buy yours direct from Timex?
I wouldn't call it beef I own 16 watches between casio, citizen and seiko with no complaints. I will be sending it back but it's the second timex I've given a chance and both have failed to perform. I simply have no interest in investing in timex anymore.@@MirrlyonTime
I got the same watch last week . The compass was working initially. Now its way off. I tried calibrating but it didn't work.
