Thanks SCS! This is one of the quintessential US American trucks, the other one being the 389 / 379.I'd love to see you add the Dark Red Metallic of the T680 though, making all my trucks look the same

It only allows for mixing the colour myself, not hitting the exact default colour of the other truck (by RGB values or something else).

zdoginterprise Modding is very easy in this game. Plus, they should have Steam workshop support soon. The horn mod sounds like a truck horn instead of a digital horn beeping junk noise.

Nice addition to the game, thank you scs for caring for your customer Base, alot of people moan about your timing on bringing the products out, but I understand the small team you are and making sure game is ready, unlike other publishers that tend to release broken games, I for one support you 100% and will continue to do so

Speedbird Yes so do I, and it's my main truck. I have this weird feeling I'm spoiling the game using these modded trucks with 800hp engines for dirt cheap. Makes buying new SCS content in game a bit of a downgrade and at a premium price. With the W900 and me approaching level 15 I may sell the 389 and go back to official trucks. Not sure yet what to do. Do you feel the same??
Kind of, but I did not put in a huge engine. I am using a Detroit 425 Hp. I just repaid the loan I used to buy that truck, and I am saving up to upgrade my garage and get a W900 to add to the fleet!
I plan on getting a W900 too but I don't wanna sell the 389! I have 200K and instead of upgrading the garage I think ima buy another one across the map for another quick travel location.

This is my own truck right here for the game. Mine has an Aero sleeper cab with a red and black divided paint scheme with the 6x2 chassis with the mid lift axle.

W900 got reworked and we're getting the current gen of the t680 2021-present

I have some DLC/Update ideas:
-Mack Trucks
-Western Star Trucks
-Not only Truck management, Trailer management too: (in German):
Der Spieler kann nicht nur wie bisher Künstliche LKW-Fahrer als mitarbeiter haben, sondern auch Auflieger/Trailer.
Man hat auch ein Menü für seinen eigenden Trailer-Park. Man kann die auflieger so wie bisher die LKW`s erwerben,
ebenfalls kann man sie auch aufrüsten: verschiedene Lackierungen, die es auch auf den Zugmaschienen gibt, beleuchtung an der Seite des Hängers, und am heck die stoßstange verändern, und ebenfalls beleuchtung am heck. Zudem noch die Räder.
Für den ETS2 könnte man z.b. die Marken "Krone" oder "Schmitz Cargobull" hinzufügen.
Seinen eigenden Auflieger kann man auch an seiner eigenden Zugmaschiene hängern, den Mitarbeitern zuweisen oder aber sie in den "Frei" modus stellen, so dass KI Fahrzeuge damit fahren können, und man selber verdient c.a. 15% von dem abgelieferten Auftrag.
-Und nicht nur Auflieger, sondern auch Tandem-Züge

+TheYizuman I think they're gonna do all the states on the immediate west coast (IE, Oregon and Washington) before moving on to other states, I think the only reason they added Nevada is because, well Vegas

The Mod W900 beats this so badly. The 389 from Viper won't be topped by SCS either. If you want real engine sounds and a beautiful truck, I recommend it. I appreciate the modding community but I think it's sad that they make better trucks than the game maker. While I'm bitching, WHERE ARE THE MOUNTAINS?? Grapevine is I-5 north of L.A., not even a scaled down representation. Donner's Pass from Reno down towards Sacramento.....the at least made it a hill but I'd sure like a reference to the actual terror that it is. I doubt that they'll even make reference to Coachella (The mountain, not the annual concert) when they add Arizona. I-15 into Vegas from California has a mountain that a lot of us have to rest our brakes at the top before we can even descend....not even a nod to it. There's very little reference to the hill ascending and descending that makes even veteran trucker's asses tighten. That's the real essence of trucking and SCS doesn't seem to be aware.
I just want this soundtrack for Rebel Galaxy aka Space Truck Simulator.
The VNL I think is the next one to come out but go and watch the CEO of SCS talk to Squirrel if you want to know more

This truck should be censored. The sound its engine make is pure porn to my ears. They like it!
On a side note, I wish airhorns and/or roof lights would be added eventually. Preferably not as a DLC. Like the ones in ETS2. I'm in love with ATS but I was rather disappointed to find out that there are no airhorns or roof lights. I would mention beacons but although it would be cool to have them as well, I don't really mind them.

They're getting the licenses, it's not for sure that they'll come but, who knows!
+cschnipke279 It would be a bit odd seeing a HET or a old mill surp M911 tractor hauling kids toys but at the same time I think have such a oddball choice would be a nice change of pace, and if it came from SCS then it would be more reliable then some of the mods that are floating around.
