Im amazed at gods creation seeing these beautiful countries and there cities are so mind blowing there so beautiful. Wow that cathedral is incredible. I am sure it was even more so in person. Chelle embracing the rain was so heartwarming to see. It just goes to show that life is truly what you make of it and Its a really great thing to see you both doing that. The world needs more people like the two of you!

I love that no matter the weather or what happens you guys find the best in it and just have fun! You don't let anything get you down and just enjoy being together having new experiences! I love how you are just hopping cities and making your plans as you go. This is so nice especially if you need down time like you did a few days ago or want different weather. This allows you to enjoy more of your trip! Can't wait to see what the rest of the trip has in store for you!

Beautiful footage! Loved the photos of Chelle dancin' in the rain with her umbrella! My umbrella disaster happened when I was dismissing my students on a very windy and rainy day. A huge gust of wind ripped back my umbrella, but I hung on for dear life and it sent me falling hard to the ground causing bruisingfrom my hip to my knee. Should've let go!🌬☂️🙄😫 Thanks for sharing your explorations with us! Hugs from West Texas!

Hi Dan and Chelle wow l am ore of Florence what an awesome experience l love the photographer's of Chelle dancing in the rain with her umbrella she always looks so stunning in the photos l particularly liked Chelle hair today even though you were both like drowned rats lol Hahaha.
I have to say that Florence hasn't disappointed me what a stunning place the Cathedral was with it's marble walls and the beautiful painted ceiling well worth a visit me thinks !

I was so excited to see all the old, beautiful cathedrals when I traveled Europe in 1988. I was surprised (didn’t bother me at all) to see the glass “boxes” with the mummified bodies in them displayed in the church. Man, the workmanship is phenomenal! I can’t imagine how it would feel to be able to attend mass in such beautiful works of art on a regular basis. Not sure I’d actually hear the sermon. Lol

Giotto's bell tower is 82 meters high and to reach the top you'll need to climb many steps, 414 steps to be precise. The climb up the tower is gradual since the tower has three middle floors - these are perfect to both take in the panorama of Florence's cathedral square below as well as to rest.

Loved the cathedral reflections in the rain puddles. I hope you are going to see the real David statue at the Academee. You can walk real close to it.

( the best two years on my 30's ) and yes when it rains it rains the whole day and sometimes for days!!! so i hope this is not the case and be sunny today " sunday" so you can enjoy the GIARDINO DI BOBOLI, i guess you are going there. it is huge and amazing.

Buy double layer vented umbrella! Prevents flipping inside out. Still can in very high wind so turn to wind and it will flip back.

I know the story of David. The Lord Jesus Christ's ancestry can be traced back to David. I live the architecture of the cathedral. The umbrellas from your hotel looked so cool. I hope you can get your clothes dried in time before you run out of clothes. It's a shame it's raining during your trip. I really loved the views from the top of the bell tower
