I first heard this song on my p/u's radio 7 or 8 yrs ago while driving through Lake Tahoe...loved it. Didn't know it was DA...and it was automated radio, so no info was given. Every so often since then I'd try to look up songs with Some Girls in the lyrics, but never could find this. Then a week ago...
@@noeleenkelly6118 Thankyou ...I’m looking forward to hearing their complete works ...was lucky enough to find that a week after seeing the documentary...their tour had brought them to my home town Sheffield, and we were able to get tickets ...absolutely amazing night
What a treat Barbara. I fell in love with them the moment I heard Kiss This Thing Goodbye in 1990. I've never had the pleasure of seeing them. But that's about to change. I'm coming from Australia in December to see them at Stirling Edinburgh and Glasgow. I've never traveled out of Australia but if I don't get to see Del Amitri I'll regret it for the rest of my life. It may not happen because at this stage Australians are struggling to get back into the country with restrictions on returning travelers due to Covid.
@@noeleenkelly6118 … wow , yes you must see them if you can , from what I hear there are some frightening things happening in Australia .. it’s bad enough here … hope it works out for you , please let me know
Saw Justin a few years ago. He and his band has held up exceptionally over time. International tour 2022! Bravo, mates, for your perseverance.
This song blew my brain out on first listen. An all-time fave.
Ditto
Modern classic. It has that "Sparky's Dream" thing going on.
@@deathkampdrone I just checked out "Sparky's Dream." Thanks for the tip!

Its a very "So I married an axe muderer" soundtrack type of song. I have this on a road trip cd for Thanksgiving.
