1990 NEGAL SUMMER DANCE CAMP

This is an 8mm silent movie taken of our 3rd LCFD gender-free dance camp (at that time known as NEGAL). Film was shot Friday, August 24th thru August 27th, 1990. This was our 2nd Summer Dance Camp that we organized, and is the last summer camp held at Camp Union - Otter Lake Conservation Camp in Greenfield, NH. At this camp we had Contras and Squares, taught by Cindy Green & Chris Ricciotti, English Country Dancing taught by Mitchell Robbins & International Folk Dancing taught by Louise Brill. Our Band of musicians included Linda Henry - Piano, Amy Richardson (now Amy Larkin) - Fiddle, Larry Unger - Guitar & Banjo, and others.
Our 25th Anniversary Camp takes place October 17th thru 19th, 2014, with Staff Chris Ricciotti teaching Contra & Square Dancing, Michael Cicone teaching English Country Dancing & Louise Brill teaching international folk dancing. Our music will be the Moving Violations with Van Kaynor, Ron Grosslin & Eric Eid Reiner.
