I don't know why they removed the fire, the artists are perfect in themselves, but the fire added a lot to the act
This was due to licenses they were not granted, which is typical in the US. It is unfortunate, but not at the fault of Cirque at all.
Still wish they could’ve added something in place of it, like haze backlit with flickering orange light
