Good concept, im just going to try making one so there might be some balancing issues. Hero:shogun Faction:heralds Rarity:legendary Attacks and weapons: utilizing two swords also called a daisho, consisting of a katana and wakizashi. FA-same basic daisho move from shadow fight 2 BA-basic katana back attack. UA-iado katana up attack followed by a wakizashi stab DA-basic katana down attack HA-basic katana heavy attack Special Attack-same daisho move from shadow fight 2 Shadow abilities: Shadow Asteroids-smashing your fist to the ground summoning a small shadow asteroid followed by a larger and stronger asteroid dealing great damage and knockback Passive and specials: Damage absorption-you get armor charges whenever you get 50% shadow energy (stackable) allowing you to negate damage at the cost of your shadow energy however your mobility is slowed for every armor charges you get and you also lose shadow energy if hit as to balanced it out. Call of the warlord-your range attack summons a bodyguard after you perform a 5 hit combo and a highlight appears when you hit the opponent(the color of the bodyguards icon). Once you perform the action you can summon the bodyguard by waving your hands up,down,front and back however you leave yourself wide open when summoning and the bodyguards are slow to attack when summoned. These bodyguards include corporal(back hand wave), who has the strongest attack,decent range and speed appearing behind shogun and attacking Infront, next is captain(front hand wave) with the second weakest damage,longest range and decent speed appearing behind shogun and attacking Infront then next is colonel(top hand wave) weakest damage,short range and the fastest attack appearing behind the opponent and finally general(bottom hand wave) with comparable damage to corporal, decent speed and range appearing behind the opponent. Talent's: Level 2 Niten ichi-ryū-you can use the wakizashi to block after missing a critical attack when all your armor charges are depleted. Overheating precision-upon landing or taking an attack there is a chance that your critical will deal increased damage and go through an opponents block. Level 4 Unacceptable fate-when at critical health your speed and power increases. Heavy momentum-your heavy attack is unbreakable if you have armor charges. Level 6 Surprise attack-the telegraphing movement when calling your bodyguards is replaced with a point. Enchanted armor-you now get armor charges after getting 20% shadow energy Level 8 Demon stance-reduced block damage and lesser distance pushed after blocking an attack Wrathful furry-criticals now deal burn damage and noe only take 1.3 seconds instead of 2. Level 10 The Agile warlord-you now perform a roll,jump or block when calling your bodyguards. The great leader-new body guard:major(pointing movement), decent damage,shortest reach and faster attacks aswell as increased bodyguards damage and speed.
If shogun will be in sf4 it will equals the herald faction with so much power and gives a strong samurai vibe,many will install the game for this funky samurai character
better level 10 talent idea, the parry will set his sword on fire, causing it to deal a slight afterburn that stacks with how many hits it does and resets with a blocked move, but missing attacks will cause him to set himself on fire or alternatively that can be an epic weapon ability.
This might not be notice, but…..oh well So I have an idea for Shogun shadow ability, if he have one: Shogun sheath his sword, then perform a fast slash-dash forward, and upon the ability’s successful hit, there’s 50% chance of a follow-up attack, which is Corporal and Cononel both will pierced the enemy up in the air (in a X shape) and General will pierce and slam the enemy down as a final touch. Since this is my concept of Shogun’s shadow ability, I also have a talent for it as well: “Skillful Samurai”: When enemy health drop below 30%, successfullly hit them with a shadow ability will execute them.
Brother Please take this as a suggestion : shogun has 2 abilities summoning body guards and damage absorption you didn't say any talents related to this so correct me if I'm wrong in shadow form shogun does not have any special abilities but he can absorb the damage(passive) like butchers cage. And the epic stance you said nekki will never copy it from KOTL. instead in sf2 during cinematic intro he does the O with his katana, that can be special intro he does the circle with O which shows his Ivory city. I have a consept for sogun's forward shadow move: he will stab his wakizashi into the enemy and then continiously slash with his katana(like kibo's move but on the ground) then kick his opponent and taking his wakizashi back

The concept is really cool, but i just have one thing that id change. I dont know what this guy has with RNG mechanics, but the talent tree has two of them. Any mechanic that involves RNG is fundamentally terrible design, and shouldnt exist in a PvP fighting game. There are also some talents that seem a little uninspired, so ill do my best to provide my ideas. Therefore, here are my proposed changes, without altering the core ideas: Reinforced Yoroi: After landing 4 successful hits, the next hit that Shogun takes will deal no damage, and ranged attacks deal 75% less damage to him. (This would remove the randomness and made it rely on the Shogun players skill, since they would be rewarded for landing hits. Its also almost identical to the old "Damage Absorption", but without the RNG.) Titans Second: When Shogun is in shadow form, he takes no damage from physical attacks. (This is referencing his old "Damage Absorption", and his armor would glow in shadow form, kind of like Fireguards "Reinforced Body". However, it would only protect from physical damage, so special attacks would ignore this.) Path of Honor: After landing three succesful hits with his weapon, Shoguns next weapon attack will be a guaranteed critical hit, and will cause a burn effect to the opponent, dealing damage over time. However, he can only summon one bodyguard in the round. (Similar idea. Remove the randomness and make it something that rewards the player for playing skillfully, and gives them a guaranteed critical hit to play around. Its also a reference to his "Overheat" ability in Shadow Fight 2.) And also, i would like to propose an idea for an epic weapon for Shogun, so here it is: Name: Bonds of Steel. Ability: When Shogun´s bodyguards successfully land a hit, Shogun´s katana glows a bright red, and his next weapon attack will be a guaranteed critical hit, break through the opponent´s block, and apply a burn effect. (Think of it like a reverse version of Yukka´s "Teamwork" talent. If the bodyguard lands a hit, Shogun gets a powerful strike.)
I made the talents for Vit. Let me explain some of my picks. The absorption has a very low chance. Let's say 5%. I didn't specify just so it would look like how SFA would describe it. I'm against random crits and general's luck myself, but a low chance to tank 1 hit seems fair, especially compared to your version of Titan's Second... Titan's Second... nah, we don't need a 6th invincible hero. You have sarge marcus yukka fg and the witch june to choose from. Inspired by Titan's Whispers, it's supposed to be a buff of some sorts. I thought of a Dojo 14 option since he's canonically rather powerful. Path of honor is basically slashing strike. It would actually make Ling balanced. In other words, the true king of the Heralds should not be powercrept by the Bo' Rai Cho ripoff. The epic weapon would even make me quit the game lol

It would depend on how often Shogun would be able to enter shadow form, and his shadow form duration, but I just think that having a talent that only boosts your stats is a little boring, since you get stat buffs just for leveling up anyway. Talents are supposed to be interesting, new abilities. As for Path of Honor, it would be like Slashing Strike but without the block breaker, but also it can't be reset, and has a burn effect. I think that Slashing Strike is one of the best designed abilities in the game, and should be used as a benchmark for how to handle critical hits. Simple, but effective. Rewards landing hits, punishes you for getting hit.

If Ling's basic attack wasn't the most broken move in the game, Slashing Strike would be a perfectly healthy and balanced ability. Especially with this "altered" version that I proposed for Shogun, which now activates after three hits, and the fourth is a critical, and has no block breaker, making it far more balanced, while still keeping a similar fundamental design.
Shogun back attack should be like spinnig attack of ling,marcus or lynx not should be like itu or kibo maybe that will do better since more heroes back attacks are not giving the meaning of it
Too broken. On the other hand, that last talent choice is almost a nerf. Those talents also don't compliment eachother as much as we usually see in arena. A parry like that isn't a good idea. Arena might break. Bodyguards are good tho. Only that rather than colours, it's better to change the sigils. Idk what you meant with "Formal sword style" but if it's something along highly polished and perfected, the same would apply to Ling, Kibo and Itu. Flashy you say, the move set you prepared is much more so. Move set itself needs a lot of improvement considering the combos and talents. From what I can see, while SFA will probably bring him in eventually, the concept isn't gonna be this. PS: I don't know about you, but those voicelines were too edgy and with a lot of grammatical errors a shogun can't have. This Shogun? No way. All in all, as yet another opinion in this pond, I say nah.
Original creator here, I already planned his parry window frames to be something like 6 frames which is supposedly a lot if you are playing on PC with 140+ fps but since it's a mobile game which you can play 60 fps at maximum then it's hard to execute, Not to mention that the recovery frames are 80 which means it is easily punishable due to what I said above, So I was thinking of something which gives this hero something VERY risky yet very rewarding if executed correctly As for the last talent: Idk where my man got the "summon one bodyguard the whole round" idea, I was thinking of just increasing his crit rate and that's it since he is supposedly a Herald, And about the other talent, the "double time" is kinda a misunderstanding, It's more like giving Shogun two summon charges and if half of it is full he can summon one bodyguard but if the charge is all full then he can summon two bodyguards, Takes a lot of patience considering you have to hit the opponent like 10 times to get it done About the voicelines: yeah I gave Shogun a backstory which is the Shadow Mind curses his army with scourge and turned them all to Shadow Beasts because Shogun was trying to raid Shadow Mind's territory so that's why he is "edgy", I didn't want him to be completely consumed by wrath so I gave him some "wisdom" in his voicelines and make him slowly rise his army so he can fight the Shadow Mind once again for revenge. Hope I cleared some things for you

Too broken. On the other hand, that last talent choice is almost a nerf. Those talents also don't compliment eachother as much as we usually see in arena. A parry like that isn't a good idea. Arena might break. Bodyguards are good tho. Only that rather than colours, it's better to change the sigils. Idk what you meant with "Formal sword style" but if it's something along highly polished and perfected, the same would apply to Ling, Kibo and Itu. Flashy you say, the move set you prepared is much more so. Move set itself needs a lot of improvement considering the combos and talents. From what I can see, while SFA will probably bring him in eventually, the concept isn't gonna be this.
PS: I don't know about you, but those voicelines were too edgy and with a lot of grammatical errors a shogun can't have. This Shogun? No way.
All in all, as yet another opinion in this pond, I say nah.

I already planned his parry window frames to be something like 6 frames which is supposedly a lot if you are playing on PC with 140+ fps but since it's a mobile game which you can play 60 fps at maximum then it's hard to execute, Not to mention that the recovery frames are 80 which means it is easily punishable due to what I said above, So I was thinking of something which gives this hero something VERY risky yet very rewarding if executed correctly
As for the last talent: Idk where my man got the "summon one bodyguard the whole round" idea, I was thinking of just increasing his crit rate and that's it since he is supposedly a Herald, And about the other talent, the "double time" is kinda a misunderstanding, It's more like giving Shogun two summon charges and if half of it is full he can summon one bodyguard but if the charge is all full then he can summon two bodyguards, Takes a lot of patience considering you have to hit the opponent like 10 times to get it done
About the voicelines: yeah I gave Shogun a backstory which is the Shadow Mind curses his army with scourge and turned them all to Shadow Beasts because Shogun was trying to raid Shadow Mind's territory so that's why he is "edgy", I didn't want him to be completely consumed by wrath so I gave him some "wisdom" in his voicelines and make him slowly rise his army so he can fight the Shadow Mind once again for revenge.
