Hello Lovelies,
I've been away for a while but here is a treat for you until I am back in the states!!! This is only episode 1 of my trip to Tonga. It's been a GREAT experience coming back to my homeland and seeing the house I grew up in to the school that I attended.
Everything here seems to be the way that I remember even the faces of the ones I love. They seem to never really age here as if I'm stepping into a time machine. I've enjoyed visiting our plantation that I used to run around freely in with my siblings. Swinging on vines pretending to be 'George of the Jungle' to feeding the pigs that we would later kill and eat. HAHAHA. These were the days! Days without social media, days where we didn't really talk back to our parents, days where we all lived in the same house... Now, we are all grown up but it was sooo good to come and relive some of those memories.
From rollerblading in the rain with my siblings, eating the same food EVERY Sunday (UMU), making home videos, spending a lot of time with family, having family prayers every night before bed and so much more. All the things that cost absolutely nothing - THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE!
Don't take things for granted and learn to be thankful each and EVERYDAY!
Wake up each morning and write down a few things that you are thankful for. Focus on the positive...

I've never been to Tonga lol but through youtube I've been to Tonga like 10 times. Hopefully I actually get to go this December. Thanks for sharing

On my dads side of the family, we went to a family reunion when I was 14 (Im now 30) and I seen alot of family photos from way back and I truly believe we are part islander. Unsure which island, but I wasnt able to find out more info since my dad passed away when I was 16. I know we were told we are mexican mixed with japanese, but the photos show other wise. My ancestors look Tongan, I used to get asked if I was filipino, but Im not.

No where near Tonga I am thousands of miles away in the Texas Panhandle I would like to go there one day I like the love and respect that Sally has for your family it is refreshing in a day in time when life is cheap and meaningless. Tonga culture is interesting to me it seems intriguing

I remember our layover in Fiji. Didn’t want to leave the airport but ended up finding a employee shower instead 🤣. There’s always during the long Nadi layover 😂

I'm Fijian Tongan but am going back to Fiji.
Isi Naulu,I was in Fiji in 2015,I do have a Fijian back ground.The people were so lovely,just disappointed there was no restaurant to cook real island food,it was all Indian food except the ika lolo at the market and thats where I was eating everyday,lol.My memory went back to Fiji when he was saying they were looking for fish or octapus!lol

Why, thank you! For the Travel vlog, I didn't have a camera yet so I used my phone for the trip. The first two vlogs are footage from my phone and the third one is from my mom's.
