There is a reason why GHZ, CPZ, HZ, OOZ, and FBZ don't change much if at all: They are already originated from the Genesis. Green Hill, Chemical Plant, Hydrocity, and Flying Battery keep their orignal credits arrangement from Sonic 1, 2, and 3&K respectively. Oil Ocean got a little extended, but kept its S1/S2 soundfont.

I love the work you've done here. So many zone medleys that I find are just the zones in the same order that they're in in game, when in the classic games, the medleys would be varied and you didn't know which song would come next. Thank you for going with the more classic feel. ☺
Okay i actually adore how you recreated the themes for the genesis games yourself, and I cannot get enough of the transition between Press Garden and Hydrocity. My only sorta complaint is the way Lava Reef ended, where it cut off too early. The Original opted to draw out the last note, which i see as nicer. The rest of this makes me giddy.
Yeah looking back on it now I definitely could have ended it differently. Overall it doesn't sound great to me now since I've gotten much more experience since, but I really appreciate that you like it despite the fact it's pretty old now
Awesome! At the end of the Chemical Plant segment and during the Flying Battery segment, the backing instruments are a bit flat and a fair bit loud respectively, but still incredible!
Yeah looking back to this one, knowing what I know now, there was a lot I could have done better, but hey I'm glad it's still enjoyable. For example, I didn't know how to bend notes so the end of the chemical plant segment was messed up in the process, but now I can do that just fine if I were to ever go back and remaster this
I don't think that's true Sonic 1's credits start with Green Hill, then goes to Labyrinth, Marble, Star Light, Scrap Brain, then Spring Yard, and I'd be surprised if Spring Yard was supposed to be the last zone. I don't know why I went into that just to say that this is not the original zone order
So by that logic, Sonic 2's original zone order would be metropolis, emerald hill, chemical plant, hidden palace, aquatic ruin, mystic cave, oil ocean (in the prototypes, casino night 2p is oil ocean's track), tropical sun (or secret jungle), hill top, casino night?
Yeah I didn't really consider that when I made this. If one day I remake this then I want to try doing that, and keeping every theme in the original temp because I didn't know how to change on the fly at the time. I also didn't know how to slide notes so Chemical Plant sounds butchered

It uses the same instruments since it’s an ice zone but it’s the same motif
The cuts are so smooth makes you feel its just one song, its truly incredible tbh
At the time of making that medley I didn't know how change the tempo mid-song so I just kinda had to work with only one tempo lmao
I do greatly appreciate that though!
Its like the credits song of each sonic 1,2,3&k that combines all of the songs into one
I just read the description

mirage saloon is actually act 1 encore/knuckles version lol
Yooooo! This is absolutely amazing! (Ps I went crazy at metallic madness lol)
The Metallic Madness part is legit my favorite part lmao. I'm really glad you enjoyed it though!
I enjoyed it definitely! You could try this with other sonic games for example sonic cd
Meatallic Madness is the best part tbh
Metallic Madness is the only part
@@Jayromi2 I'm here bcuz of your Amino post on the Spring Yard remix

This deserves more views. This has too much to like about it for it to have this little views. I commend your work 👍

@@Jayromi2 perhaps this means a remake is in order 👀👀👀👀👀
@@Jayromi2 Are you thinking about making a remaster?
This is really great. Pleased to see that the zones aren't in order too, the original medley's prioritised what would mix well over zone order.
im pretty sure sonic 1 used the prototype zone order but i cant be sure
This is really good, especially the ending!
(using Google translator) good thing to hear, it was very good man
Outstanding!
your songs make me happy every time I listen them, thanks :'D
My favorite part was Stardust Speedway and Press Garden
:D
I will always listen this. SPZ SSZ, and MMZ were amazing
1 word; Underrated.

@@Jayromi2please do 🥹🙏🙏
This makes me wish the Mega Drive Cartridge which came with the collectors edition worked with an actual Mega Drive
Man, this music his different! Great job!
this is incredible.
Very awesome medley. The cuts are done in a very creative way.
Sonic games follow the prototype zone order so does that mean that is the original zone order
I don't think that's true

This is pure awesomeness
I get whiplash hearing chemical plant instead of labyrinth after green hill
Amazing!!
You're amazing!
That’s AMAZING!
Underrated
You really should do full Genesis renditions of each Mania zone. They sound amazing as heck.
These had to have been some extra credits or something great song !
its like sonic manias OG staff credits, when you have all the music in one, now make a staff credits theme with all the mania versions
When Classic/Better Ending Theme in our Mania
Yo Lava Reef sounds SPOT ON!
This is amazing!
That actually fits if sonic mania was on sega mega drive
You should do a longer version this os really good
i need a extender versión of studiopolis, sounds sooooo sweet
men, i think we've found it. a genesized tee lopes
What if the credits were just like sonic 1? Black screen with credits, cutting to gameplay of the zone's act(s)? Now that would be a cool edit
they’ve should’ve done this for the credits ngl
reminds me of the classic games credits
Anyone noticed on the footage that the ring counts for Super Sonic doesn't go down
I didn’t even know oil ocean and hydrocity was in Sonic Mania lol
Awesome!
mettalic madness slapped hard
POV: I go back in time to see what would happen if I put Sonic Mania on the Genesis.
can you do the studiopolis in genesis style, BUT ONLY THE STUDIOPOLIS
my favorite parts were probably hydrocity or mirage saloon
i’m surprised tee lopes didn’t do this
Would have been really cool if he did do this for Mania tbh
YOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Only difference for Flying Battery and Hydro City is that it has Sonic 1+2 drums
edit: also Lava Reef
Sonic Mania staff roll if it had one
4:16 i cri
Great remixes but I feel like the classic zones should’ve maybe used their act 2 renditions to differentiate them from the originals
Yeah I didn't really consider that when I made this. If one day I remake this then I want to try doing that, and keeping every theme in the original temp because I didn't know how to change on the fly at the time. I also didn't know how to slide notes so Chemical Plant sounds butchered
My only complaint is that stardust speedway is too short
Chemical plant.. la mejor parte nerfdfiada
Scuse me, but can I use this melody for a let's play I have coming up? I'll obviously give you credit, should be easy with UA-cam's @ system
Yeah go ahead
İs there a full version of Titanic Monarch?
None of these have a full version
@@Jayromi2 nooooooooooooooo
You should remaster this
@@tailzgimer1726 you're so right

Can we have this in the game?

Recreating FBZ's guitar instruments...was a bad choice
It does not sound that good
To be honest the entire thing doesn't sound that good anymore idk how this blew up like it did
