Actually both the Power Rangers and Ginyu Force are based on Super Sentai, especially PR cause they literally used stock footage from SS. The Psychos might be PR-exclusive villains tho.

@lolstalgic9602 For real there were debates about the Ginyu Force vs the Mighty Morphin team of Power Rangers/ Man I missed out... Nothing like that happened where I lived.
I always felt the Space Rangers were the most thematic to use in VS because most of their opponents (Transformers, Gundams, and Voltron) all had connections to Space that the original Rangers simply didn’t. Plus the arena isn’t just limited to Earth anymore with the Space Rangers
Love how you managed to capture both the goofy and awesome aspects of the matchup with this one, gotta be one of my favorite matchups, the Ginyu Force really needs some more recognition.
Here’s another Dragon Ball vs Power Rangers matchup that’s pretty interesting: Cooler vs Vrak Two royal offsprings of a galactic empire that hate their brothers who returned with gigantic planet destroying technology and got their own specials once they came to destroy those who killed their brothers. (Not out of revenge, but to prove they’re better than their brother)
Finally a Power Ranger track matchup that is outside MMPR. Now who wins this it’s really determined where you put the Ginyu Force in AP and Speed. But for the Psycho Rangers they’re in Dwarf Star-Solar System (The Death Ranger comic) and 32 Trillions time FTL, which if you wanna know the context go watch Nemesis’s 40 Fastest Live Action Speedsters RANKED and the time stamp for that is 21:17.
I didn’t know the Psychos were like that in the comics. But if they at Dwarf Star Level then they should stomp. First Form Frieza was at that level when he destroyed his Planet Vegeta and he’s got over double the Power Level of the Ginyu Force’s strongest member… the late Captain Ginyu himself

@@TheUncivilizedNation I can agree with that, besides I see this fight as being a similar case to Thanos vs Darkseid in the sense that Drakkon needed the Heart of the Masters to become a God whereas Goku Black is already a God similar to how Thanos needs the Infinity Gauntlet to be a God but Darkseid is already a God.

Been a hot minute since we got a Power Rangers track, always fun to hear those. Also damn that's a nice track art. As for the song, it's about what's expected between such a matchup. High energy with quite the joyful and comical side to it to represent the characters' wacky attitude but also a more serious and tense side at times to represent the fact that both those teams still are antagonists beyond their comical side. Other thing that does stand out aside from just the general fact that it fits both teams really well is how catchy it is. Of course that's almost a given for a Power Rangers track but it's still notably that all the motifs in this song manage to be quite memorable and stand out despite their simplicity, the main spotlight-taker of course being the main one heard repeatedly throughout the song (IE: 1:02-1:12). It makes for a really standout track which doubly fits the characters as, as a team, they strive to be as eye-catching as possible and having memorable and catching motifs perfectly fits. Overall this song is quite simple in the way it's done but it succeeds heavily in what it strives to do: it fits both teams by focusing both on their comedic and more serious sides all the while being perfectly catchy and appreciable. It's not groundbreaking, yes, but it doesn't need to be because it already is a great song. Amazing job as always with this.
That is one Psycho match up and I'd love to see the interactions these 2 teams have now I think about it, it be pretty funny. As Always Brandon and DK knock it out the park with the music and art 🎸👌

The Psychos were created equal. If Ginyu takes one he’ll get jumped by the others. Plus he can’t access their final forms. One of the Psychos will just transform and Psycho-Ginyu gets demolished

You gotta ignore the comics all together because if you don’t them only one Psycho is needed to solo 99% of the Frieza Force. Even that’s debatable, all together they might be able to kill Frieza and King Cold. They’re always bloodlusted and won’t let Frieza transform. Plus they have transformations of their own
most likely, the psycho rangers will win this battle, the ginyu force puts too much effort in posing during their monologue, which would give the psycho rangers plenty of chances to capitalize on the ginyu force's posing

Saiko means maximum, and sentai means squadron
It is in part a reference to Super Sentai, as the Ginyu Force are a reference, especially the with the Japanese name "Ginyū Tokusentai" and the Psycho Rangers are from Power Rangers which is a adaptation of Super Sentai and their Megaranger counterpart Jaden Sentai Neziranger.

You gotta ignore the comics all together because if you don’t them only one Psycho is needed to solo 99% of the Frieza Force. Even that’s debatable, all together they might be able to kill Frieza and King Cold. They’re always bloodlusted and won’t let Frieza transform. Plus they have transformations of their own
