In Legends, Luminari was gunned down by the clones. In Disney, she was captured and died in prison; the Empire using her essence to draw out more Jedi. For the clones that are up in the trees, they're firing like that in order to help break up formation. Naturally when people see gunfire hitting the water, the thing they do is move away. By breaking formation to get out of danger, it causes chaos among ranks and allows the enemy to gun down more targets. For the clone that was shot in the foot, what knocked him back was the explosive force. Even though the shot misses, the shockwave is still going to hit you if you're close enough. 9:44 That Wookiee wasn't aiming at the droids, he was shooting the tank.

At 2:20, you wondered what those things were, the "mechanical tauntauns" as you called them. They're AT-RTs that were like mini walkers that clones rode on. They had an open top and you can see them again walking in the background at 3:59 and around that time. The AT-AP was that thing that you said looked like a chicken. You can only see AT-APs in Revenge of The Sith but the AT-RTs are seen throughout the Clone Wars show, especially during the Battle of Umbara. Super cool battle, I'd love to see a video like this one on that battle.

Fun fact: The clones you see in the staging area on Coruscant with the light grey markings are part of the 9th Assault Corps, the larger unit which Commander Gree's 41st Elite Corps are a part of.
I thought that sounded like complete nonsense, considering how both the 9th and 41st were corps. So I decided to read up on it, and apparently, you are right. So the 41st WAS under the 9th when the 41st was referred to as a Legion, even though it was a Corps. Idk what happen. Maybe the 41st lost equivalent to 3/4th of their entire Corps throughout the war, and was basically the size of a Legion when the battle of Kashyyyk happened, and then they was placed under the 9th Assault Corps as a result of this? Idk, but I DO like that theory.
In battlefront 2 on kashyyyk the ventor cruiser is the final stage of defense for the republic, I never noticed it was actually in the film because it's exactly where it is in the game.
I always liked the detail in the maps in battlefront 2, they were very accurate to the movies which for me atleast made it seem very immersive and cool
2:13 The former is a Swamp Speeder and the latter I’m pretty sure was an AT-RT. 9:45 I think it was pretty obvious that the Wookie was shooting the tank and not the droids, the real issue with that shot is that the two droids are just standing there not even trying to kill this one wookie.
5:17 on the other side of the beach is literally a C-9979 Landing craft (Same as we see carry invasion forces on Naboo in the Phantom Menace) about to land. And the large "two legged walkers" actually have three legs. The third one is placed down for stabilization when firing. They're called All Terrain Attack Pods. The speeder looking things are Infantry Support platforms, and in the shot where we see everything being loaded up, we see several of them with the so called "Taun tauns" being AT-RTs And yeah, the Juggernauts are massive. Almost 50 meters long, and with wheels that are about 7-8 meters in diameter each, and they can carry about 300 clone troopers. Love the vehicles. Also, the droids are not necessarily part of the trade federation at this point in time. More so the Separatist alliance, which the trade federation is a member of. Like the NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcers (more famously known as "snail tanks") are actually Techno Union droids.
As some people stated, those filler vehicles in the assembly scene and those odd speeders on the beach are known as Swamp Speeders or Infantry Support Platforms. They also showed up on Felucia, in that convoy shot during Order 66, a pair of them between an AT-TE and the AT-OT (the All-Terrain Open-Transport, the troop transport with no roof). As for stats: Two clone crew, with a pair of double blaster turrets in the nose and a huge turbofan on the back. Think, airboat meets star wars. The turrets can also be replaced with "beam" weapons or missile pods. The turrets can operate independently or in tandem, and control can be handled by one of the pilots or shared by both. I can't find anything on steering, but since the seats look identical I think they're 100% redundant so either of them can drive it as well.
Man I have a new appreciation for the amount of detail that is put into these battles. This makes me wish, like you, that we had more Kashyyk scenes. Also that landed venerator though!
The walker you mentioned, it is the AT-AP stand for the All Terrain Attack Pod. It was nicknamed the "Sniper tank" by the clones due to its ability to fire a plasma encased steel shell at hypersonic speeds over a range of many miles.
Dude just pointing out a couple of errors, still liking anyways, but: at 6:38 when you mentioned snipers, those weren't sniper rifles, they were long rifles that were standard issue. They were incredibly powerful, heavy and super expensive, but they didn't have scopes. Also at 9:45 that wookie was obviously shooting the tank, which is why it gets blown up.
2 battles I definitely think you should do. One is Umbara but the other is the first three episodes of S4 of the Clone Wars. The under water fight on MonCalamri or whatever. The clones, moncalmari, gungans, quarren, and droids all fighting it out? Excellent!
The different vehicle that we see Michael talking so much about is the ISP (infantry support platform. And the two-legged different walker is the AT-AP or known among clones as the walker Sniper. One thing I've always noticed in this battle is the lack of aim Of the clones , as Michael showed , the Scoult Troopers did not come close to hitting the droid tanks , and that 's not the only place we see this bullshit , it 's in all the battles , so many in the movies and in the series ( except for the series from 2003 to 2004 ) , then the clones were super badass ) When I was a kid like 8 years old I thought Kashyyyk Battle had actors dressed in Scoult Trooper outfits and they fired in battles and when I saw the clone just drop you when the shot hits the ground and not him I thought that the animators were wrong at the time of animating the shot, but unbelievably nobody wore the armor in the movies, not even Tamuera Morrison he never wore the armor and when we see his face was made by CGI. That was one of the problems with the movie besides the horrible aim of the clones.
One of the coolest things about the battle is the addition of this new type of clone troopers , the Scoult Troopers , soldiers whose main mission was terrain reconnaissance , for some reason they were the main battle force , and we also saw the ARF Troopers with forest camouflage piloting the AT-RT Wallkers. And we saw a vehicle at a glance that most believe I have not seen and do not know, which also appears in this film in the battle of Felucia which is the Infantry Support Platform (ISP), and the most famous of the battle the HAVw A6 Juggernauto tank more gross of the Republic and All Terrain Tactical Enforcer (AT-TA) . And the droid army using the NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer carrying the B-1 Droids, HMP droid gunship and the Platoon Attack Craft or PAC and the Dwarf Spider Droids coming out of the water.

2:19 those are AT-RTs. Basically a baby AT-ST. It’s like the a motorcycle is to a car, a AT-RT is to an AT-ST. They run around and you’re sitting in the little seat controlling it. They’re in Battlefront II, you should play it! It’s super fun!
At 2:20 you see those speeders and “robotic tauntauns” the speeder are called swamp speeders and LEGO actually made a little set depicting them on kashyyyk, and those tauntauns are AT-RTs
Oh my god, Luminara was in this battle?! I seriously never noticed her until you pointed her out just now. That's so cool! These battles deserve their own movie's worth of screentime.
Love the video. Also, at 9:50 or so, the battle that was going on, I think may have been Mygeeto with Ki Adi Mundi or Utapau with Cody. I don't think it was Felucia with Secura since we never see spider droids on Felucia. Also, that Wookie at 10:00 wasn't shooting the droids, but the tank. Why the droids weren't shooting him is dumb.
4:50 you might the the AT-APs are just walking but if you slow it down and look they're actually extending their 3rd legs into attack position for stability. I keep finding hidden little details like this. George is the best.
I think larger blaster bolts have a larger area of damage than you would initially think, for instance battlefront (I know it might not be exactly canon but still) when you play as anything with a large canon they have a huge area of splash damage this would explain all the times people “didn’t get hit” but still die
Subscribed. The late 2000's blu-ray has a much longer and more satisfying version of the battle. Actually, I have this whacky maybe Mexican version of the prequels on a box set that has these really great longer cuts of everything. It's not in Spanish, and not a bootleg, but it has super slim boxes and a tiny little box. Got it from "The Exchange" for like $20?! Awesome. By the way, I'm 44, and "Sith" is hands down my favorite Star Wars movie.
The Senate requests you do landing at point Rain in Geonosis, and perhaps Obi-Wan's defense getting attacked in that same episode I believe. Maybe also the Separatist Attack on Kamino, the ground attack I don't believe there is much, I think you could get out something nice from the Space battle though. Speaking of Space battles, maybe Rogue one? For a short nice video, there's many shots of the Phantom (The Star Wars Rebels Ship). And lastly, Krell VS Clones, cause thats always epic.
Another frustrating thing about the prequels. It’s torture because I want to see everything that’s going on. Release the Snyder Cut for the prequels or the LOTR extended edition for the prequels.
At 6:19the Wookiee’s harnesses didn’t go under there butt the actually go around there waist because I looked carefully and I saw it going around there waist
Luminari died in the Jedi temple during order 66 as told in a Star Wars rebels scene. Her corpse is shown in the episode and used to lure Jedi into a trap
the next battle should be the battle of Mon Cala from the clone wars (it was at the beginning of a season and was several episodes long) love your channel man
Luminara was captured by the Empire but it would be interesting to find out why the clones decided to capture her rather than kill her on the spot and what led them to decide that. Also I find it kind of odd that Yoda didn’t even look over the side of where he was perched to see if the clones were attacking Luminara too or if it was just him. He just left straight away after he got attacked without checking what happened to her.😂
I had a thought about this recently. To legitimise Palpatine's claims that the Jedi tried to kill him and overthrow the Republic, capturing some of the Jedi and making them sign written confessions, and broadcast confessions to the public from prison, would go a long way in making people believe it, if not doubt the Jedi's innocence. Also, it would make the public think that the Jedi weren't just being ruthlessly slaughtered, and were maybe being arrested, sentenced, and punished fairly. The everyday person wouldn't know all the Jedi were being slaughtered all at once. On Coruscant for instance, people would see the temple on fire and think "wow, I should pop on the news and see what that's all about"; and Palpatine of course, would be controlling the media, and people would be told that clones were besieging the temple to contain a rebellion. And as we find out later, Luminara's corpse was used as bait for other Jedi who might seek her out. So there's that too.
Two cool side notes- Lucasfilm actually hand made a bunch of Wookiee from real yak fur, just like Chewie's costume. Despite his deep pockets, there were only like 15 made, and then digitally duplicated. Clone Wookiee! PS- it's TH-ONG, kiddo, not TONG. Tongs are those leather and wood shoes that guys that eat Ben and Jerry's and listen to Phish wear while they brush their pony tails. Things are basically dental floss that the humans formally known as women sometimes wear under jeans if they plan on drinking Lite beer and attempting to ride a mechanical bull. Awesome channel, homie.
4:32 There is actually a deleted scene of her riding in a juggernaut when order 66 happens. The cannon on the juggernaut in front of her turns around and her and her juggernaut (with clones still inside) and was one of the most brutal order66 scenes. (which is probably why they took it out)
2:07 those I think are AT-XTs from the old Clone Wars PS2 game 2:22 those are swamp speeders. The clones use them when they’re looking for Yoda and find the dead wookies and next to them are the AT-RTs 3:31 Luminara Unduli was at the battle. Not just Yoda and yet we never see what happens to her during the battle but the troops she’s with are the same ones that appear in the Second Battle of Geonosis (hence the camo armor) 4:08 the Wookiee sniper rifle ironically never appears anywhere outside this movie 10:32 I think some people DID get run over
The thing you want for Christmas is called an AT-AP or All Terrain Attack Pod. Those two things that you couldn’t identify are swamp speeders (There are a few Lego versions of those) and AT-RTs
In rebels they say that luminara was captured torched and eventually died but the rumor went around she was still alive so other jedi would come to rescue her.
Ok first off, at about two minutes the larger of the vehicles is the AT-AP the ones that he says he’s ‘never seen before’ and appear once later in the scene are Swamp Speeders, they are a Lego set and only ever appear in those two things, finally the second thing he sees and when he talks about the guy not knowing where he is, is the AT-RT that appears in *Star Wars the clone wars* often and in other star wars
@ 2:24 I think those are hover bikes... and the things behind them are mini walkers they were used heavily in the post battle of Kashyk after order 66 took place and the Clones were hunting the Wookies
The big chicken walker with all the turret mounts that appears as a heavy armored walker with two rear legs and a small front leg is a Republic AT-AP walker specifically used in the battle of kashyyk
In the opening one of those two background vehicles is clone scout walker, as seen in the clone wars. The other thing, absolutely no clue. Something that really caught my attention though is it seems that there are some clones in this shot in uniforms I’ve never seen before. 1:45 bottom middle/left it looks like they’re wearing gray with a black helmet and have a backpack. Never seen anything like that.
The Wookiees that charge over the barrier at the start of the battle are only 5 actors in suits, they re-enacted the charge with different weapons and accessories and were copied and pasted in random configurations to make it look like there were loads as the suits were so expensive and time consuming to make. It’s in the special features
Even though the shot misses, the shockwave is still going to hit you if you're close enough.
9:44 That Wookiee wasn't aiming at the droids, he was shooting the tank.

4:37 Luminara was arrested by the empire and in Rebels, the crew were going to rescue her but it was revealed she was executed in her cell.
Btw in battlefront 2 there’s a whole map called kachiro beach which is where the battle of kashyyyk was and you can see so many details it’s so great
I think larger blaster bolts have a larger area of damage than you would initially think, for instance battlefront (I know it might not be exactly canon but still) when you play as anything with a large canon they have a huge area of splash damage this would explain all the times people “didn’t get hit” but still die
around the 8:32 mark those speeders are swamp speeders, also used in felucia
7:00 i mean they werent given scopes
5:10 the Wookies and Yoda have a extremely close relationship so I wouldn't be surprised if that they made chair for Yoda
4:31 The clone trooper's blaster (DC-15) are said to be able to fire precisely at a distance up to 15 kilometers.
That’s like… *REALLY* far…
3:18 battlefront 2 is more accurate than I thought
I like your enthusiasm very much, and I agree with "they need put more wars in they Star WARS" to justifies the title a little more. Yeah!
Videos like these are awesome, def gonna watch all the rest you have.
I thought the clone who flopped got shot in the chest when I first saw it
Luminari died in the Jedi temple during order 66 as told in a Star Wars rebels scene. Her corpse is shown in the episode and used to lure Jedi into a trap
6:04 Those are Wookiee Underpants
the next battle should be the battle of Mon Cala from the clone wars (it was at the beginning of a season and was several episodes long) love your channel man
I knew about the Venator in the background but WOW. I never realized how close Battlefront 2017 got to replicating the Kashyyyk battlefield
at 10:24 you see a juggernaut drive right over friendlies.
You are correct about not enough screen time for the battle of Kashyyyk. It is a great battle. Love the Kashyyyk clone troopers.
You do such a good job! It’s hilarious how you speak to your editor through the video. Lol
"Let me know which battles you want me to do in the comments!"
Bad Cop from The Lego Movie: ALL OF THEM! NOW!
Good Cop: Or, whenever you can!
Avctually the jugernaut just ran like 20 guys over right after you said it at 10:32
Battlefront 2 gives you a great chance to explore a lot of this. The juggernaut tanks especially.
6:39 he loves his job
4:32 There is actually a deleted scene of her riding in a juggernaut when order 66 happens. The cannon on the juggernaut in front of her turns around and her and her juggernaut (with clones still inside) and was one of the most brutal order66 scenes. (which is probably why they took it out)
No, the Jedi in the Juggernaut was Quinlan Vos, Luminara Undulli was angaged by a firing squad coming up over the hilltop, if I remember correctly.
Fun fact jek, one of the shock trooper who helped yoda in the first episode of the clones wars transferred to the 41st
2:14 My guy those are swamp speeders 2:19 bro that's an AT-RT they were in the Battle on umbara. By the way no hate love the videos 😁
Paused @7:19 but under the water was droids as well, so missed shots are probably still hitting droids
But lazers arent like bullets
2:07 those I think are AT-XTs from the old Clone Wars PS2 game
2:22 those are swamp speeders. The clones use them when they’re looking for Yoda and find the dead wookies and next to them are the AT-RTs
3:31 Luminara Unduli was at the battle. Not just Yoda and yet we never see what happens to her during the battle but the troops she’s with are the same ones that appear in the Second Battle of Geonosis (hence the camo armor)
4:08 the Wookiee sniper rifle ironically never appears anywhere outside this movie
10:32 I think some people DID get run over
ive only seen a few videos from this channel and ya know personal shit makes life difficult and hard. but im laughing watching this so thank you 🙌
Fun fact: the republic cruiser That sits in the background was used in battlefront 2 for the battle of kashyyyk map. Some missions you could enter it
2:40 The one who is riding that creature is the master Tsui Choi, we can see it in the conceptual arts and in some figures
Honestly the battles were the best part of episode 3, they were amazing and all got so little screen time
5:23 did you really miss the CIS landing ships on the other side of the water? your slacking my dude xD 🤣
The thing you want for Christmas is called an AT-AP or All Terrain Attack Pod. Those two things that you couldn’t identify are swamp speeders (There are a few Lego versions of those) and AT-RTs
Swamp speeders and AT-RT's are the robotic taung taung and things you never seen before and yes both of them are in the battle
In rebels they say that luminara was captured torched and eventually died but the rumor went around she was still alive so other jedi would come to rescue her.
Already know this is gonna be great!
10:29 the Juggernaut literally bulldozes an entire manned defensive position right after you wondered how it doesnt run over people
Saw your comment on the newest Avril Lavigne vid. lmao good shit
The véhicules in the loading zone of the venator are swampspeeders and All Terrain Recon Transports (atrt)
4:16 that is an AT-AP (All ,Terrain ,attack ,pod) it walks on two legs but a third one folds down when it fires it’s massive cannon on top
This video really makes you appreciate how precisely this battle was recreated for the EA Battlefront 2. All the way to the venator in the back.
2:15 those are swampspeeders and at-rts.
@4:14 That walker is an AT-AP walker, also called an All-Terrain Attack Pod
@ 2:24 I think those are hover bikes... and the things behind them are mini walkers they were used heavily in the post battle of Kashyk after order 66 took place and the Clones were hunting the Wookies
Please do the Umbara battles (including the fight against general Krell and 501 against 212) next.
FINALY! I asked him 12 times in the comment section to do this. Amazing video btw
The big chicken walker with all the turret mounts that appears as a heavy armored walker with two rear legs and a small front leg is a Republic AT-AP walker specifically used in the battle of kashyyk
2:25 they are AT-RTs and swamp speeders
Just mentioning cloud city clown cars makes me miss battlefront sooooo much. Man that lvl was Amazing!
Never seen anything like that.
the walker that has the cannon on top of it is called an All Terrain-Armored Pod, or AT-AP if you go by the abbreviation
@4:12 that walker is called AT-AP or the All Terrain Attack Pod nicknamed the sniper tank
AT-AP Walker
That battle on the holo table is the Battle of Umbara it was the most important part of the war at the moment so thats why they were all watching
The Wookiees that charge over the barrier at the start of the battle are only 5 actors in suits, they re-enacted the charge with different weapons and accessories and were copied and pasted in random configurations to make it look like there were loads as the suits were so expensive and time consuming to make. It’s in the special features
I love these videos so much!!
