hey there-re: the size of the topper you ordered. It says on Amazon that the full dimensions are 74 by 52.5 yet the Revel bed is listed as 79 by 49. Is it too short on length and too long on width (did you have to trim side) and did the 4" difference in length just work anyway because of the punch outs? Hope that makes sense and TIA.
We have a Grand Design with a Murphy bed - horrible mattress. We did put a latex topper, but it’s not enough. Will get either a thicker one or a full latex mattress at some point. We had that on our boat and it was the best!
We have a full latex “Purple” mattress at home so I can see that being a great option if you can get one that fits or can cut it to fit. For us those 2 gaps since it’s actually 3 pieces was the biggest pain point. The topper solved that for sure.
We have problems with ou stock mattress in our Jayco Eagle TT. We put a 2 inch foam on top the mattress. We are still looking for a mattress that will do the job.
We sleep with our feet on the window side also. Great minds think alike! Last trip, our backs told us it was time to update our mattress so we watched your timely video and ordered the latex topper and fitted sheet (via your amazon page). We thank you and our backs thank you!

Yes! On the front windshield. You’ll see that in tomorrow’s video as we head west. Lots you can do to keep that at a minimum but we never do that so we usually have to either wipe or wait.

Not at all! We have a little step stool that we put out at night to get up into the bed. You can get off it just fine without it but it’s hard to get into bed if it’s not there… at least for us.
Memory foam takes a long time to warm up in cold weather. I’ll take my plain old high density polyurethane foam any day (had to purchase and cut at an upholstery shop)
I’m not a fan of memory foam because I feel like I have to pick myself up to turn over and I move around a lot before I can fall asleep. Thanks for sharing.
I noticed on your Amazon store that there is the latex mattress topper and also the cover. Did you purchase the cover as well? Also, what size fitted sheet? Full?
Yes, we purchased the cover and it helps too. Both were in FULL size. BTW, when we ordered them together the cover came already on the topper. They’re a bear to get on so that was a pleasant surprise.
Thanks for the helpful product review. I have a hard time sleeping on the cushions even with a mattress pad, but Memory Foam was a nightmare for me. I fell off my bed in the middle of the night more than once as it sunk down on the edge when I shifted.

Well… we’ve “learned” to minimize the nightly urges but it happens. No crawling over… Lynn just sits up and I scoot behind her… and then back to the back side of the bed. She can get up without me even knowing.
We ordered the full size and it fits pretty well. It’s the perfect length but the sides could be cut a little at an angle at the top… but we didn’t do that and actually like the snuggle effect.

Our topper fit perfect when the bed is down. However when you raise the bed the topper does hang off the ends which you need when the bed is down so it will cover the bolsters. I put a grey sheet on the topper so it doesn’t seem to show when he bed is up. Sorry if yours doesn’t seem to fit.
We have tried a lot of different things for more comfortable sleep in our Class 'C'. The best has been a 4 inch memory foam topper. You are right... its tough to get into and out of bed with the memory foam. Thanks for the suggestion of the latex topper. By the way, we really enjoy your music.

The sheet has worked great and no pilling at all, however I ordered a full size and I think I would order a queen next time, it does seem to shrink every time I wash it and it’s getting harder to put it on.
It has not bunched up at all and it hasn't picked or gotten rough to the touch either. Very happy with it. We are glad we figured out the right way to sleep in the van too. 😂

Nothing can make an otherwise fun trip turn into misery quicker than sleeping conditions that just are not comfortable. People new to camping or RVing need this point brought home before they embark on a trip, Try out the beds before the trip and start planning modifications because, they almost always need to be tweaked or even replaced. We ended up swapping out a Jack knife couch/bed for two small recliners. We slept like babies in our recliners and gave the bedroom to our son and his wife (with a foam topper on the bed.) Our grandkids occupied the bunk house. It worked out great for all of us from youngest to the geezers (us!) Never overlook something like bedding because it can ruin your night and the next day if you think you’ll get used to bad sleeping accommodations. 😳😕😢

Isn't this topper 6" too wide for the Revel? I measured mine at 48" but this topper is 54" wide? Did you cut it or just squish it in?
It was to wide, we just let it hang over when it was up that way if filled in the bump out when you let it down.

Not at all! We have a little step stool that we put out at night to get up into the bed. You can get off it just fine without it but it’s hard to get into bed if it’s not there… at least for us.

Falling out can't be fun. The good thing about the latex foam is it is solid all the way to the edge so we don't have that issue with it.

I just order a latex mattress topper for our Roadtrek yesterday. I hope this works for us! puzzle beds are the worst.
