The World No.1 won her 23rd straight match and 4th Hologic WTA Tour title in a row as she eased past Aryna Sabalenka in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix final!
Playing for the first time in Stuttgart, the Polish 20-year-old got past qualifier Eva Lys, No.8 seed Emma Raducanu and tough test against Liudmila Samsonova on her way to the final.

I’ve begun to notice a couple of similarities between Iga and Alcaraz’s game. The crazy fast and fluid footwork and the ability for sudden redirection with power from both the forehand and backhand sides. The results speak for themselves! Incredible year for the new god and goddess of tennis.

If healthy, I suspect Alcaraz will be on a whole other level. Let's face it, WTA's Swiatek does not have anywhere near the stiff competition that the mens side offers. Even without the Big 3, ATP's talent pool is deep with high caliber players - the future is bright. WTA not so much, sad to say 🤷♂️
@@demigod1013 Naomi has won 4 slams in the last 3-4 years. Barty won 3. Kerber has 3. What ATP players have gotten that many slams in the last 10 years? None other than the big 3. I’d say the talent and consistency pool is DEEPER in the WTA. More multi slam winners on tour (not counting Serena) sounds like more talent to watch win to me. What an asinine and baseless comment.
@@jimmyejamerson5371 Nonsense. The last 10 yrs was still dominated by ATP's Big 3. They are called RIVALS. Rivalries is what makes tennis worth watching the most. Something that the WTA has lacked since perhaps Serena - Henin. There are more 1 Slam wonders in the WTA that have shown no progress, promise. Don't get started on Naomi, she is already washed up and exposed as the 1-dimensional hack who's only decent on hard court.
@@demigod1013 Good tennis makes tennis good. Yes, rivalries are great for buildup and anticipation…but folks attention spans only last on those for so long. People were more excited to someone new win when Djoker played Medvedev! Djokovic and Nadal have won all the slams since 2017. That’s BORING! And say what you want about Naomi…but until you’ve won four slams…you’re still the washed up one!

The last two times she has played Sabalenka, you can see Sabalenka getting so frustrated. She made some great shots, but her bag of tricks just doesn't work against Swiatek anymore.

One thing i noticed about Swiatek's game, that separates her from the rest of the pack is that she never hesitates to step in to attack for a second as soon as opportunity presents itself! If you watch how many other female players play you will notice almost a universal pattern, that is as soon as the ball flies high they hesitate for a few seconds waiting for the ball to bounce, so they pull back instead of playing drive volley or a smash at half-court or close up at the net! Swiatek almost never does that, unlike 99.9% of other female players! Her net approaches are very confident and thought out, she never rushes for the sake of it, but only when she is absolutely sure she can finish it off! The only drawback of her net game is that she refuses to play regular volleys very often preffering to use drive volleys instead or just smash the heck of the point (Both of those technics are admittedly very effective though...)...i just wish she used more of a classic volleys at net as they are more aesthetically pleasing, like the one that you can see at 7:00 mark of this video! I understand she had all the time in the world to execute that one, but majority of the female tour wouldn't even do that LOL...
...Also her forehand is very explosive! Her inside out forehands especially! Reminds me a lot of Federer and Henin!...

People stop talking about Barty. She ended her career as professional tennis player. Accept it. Ther's no sense in comparing Barty and Świątek. Iga is 20 and she is still improving. We have to wait till Iga stops playing and then we can compare their achivements. They met 2 times and Barty won. Credits to her. We don't know who would win if they play today. Iga is completely different player now. I regret that we won't see their rivalry anymore.

When she won the french she has more topspin on her backhand. It has become more flatter.
I feel that's a wise decision to make it flatter, helps to cut the points short. Even her forehand is sometimes flat which is good for grass and hard courts
