YESYESYES paint your ceilings!! interior designer here and people typically think it’ll make the room feel smaller but it actually makes it feel MUCH larger! it brings your eye up and makes the room feel cohesive. i personally painted every ceiling in my apartment the same color as my walls (pastel yellow and pink 😊) and my landlord LOVES it!! dont be afraid to paint them!!

It all depends on many factors, such as the amount of light entering, the type of atmosphere you want to achieve, and above all the type of sensations. Colors express a lot how the space becomes and the atmosphere that it provides, something that you have to be careful with i think
I’ve always liked lighter walls and ceilings, since it makes a room seem bigger and brighter especially doing the winter where it tends to be dark in my country, with the sun setting at 3pm most days. I’ve also always grown up in homes with all whit walls, so I might be bias

I would love to see you do another Pinterest build using a wheel to pick an adjective. Like "wacky, fun, cute, moody, gross, etc." And then use that adjective in front of the search "Frilly kitchen" or "Scary bathroom"

I have so many different moods, so every single room in my house is decorated differently!! I’d say go for it if you want to, and don’t worry about cohesion. My kitchen is full 70’s, my bedroom is whimsigoth, and my bathroom is like jungle hippie. It makes me so happy.
I painted my bathroom ceiling (and the walls) pink and it makes me so happy every day. If you're thinking of painting any ceilings at your new place, I'd say go for it!

Lol you told your boyfriend it’s Barbies dream house, not Ken’s dream house. 😂 My sister has a vaulted ceiling in her bedroom and she painted that part to match her feature wall. It’s like a dusty purple color and it looks really cool.

Hi! We painted our ceilings in my childhood home and it made it so fun and unique. We had beautiful burnt orange walls and my mom put that same paint colour on our hands and we put our handprints on the ceiling! I still look back at how colourful that home was with the best of memories 🥰🥹

Aw man I love cats. I feel bad for my friends that are allergic cause I love my cat so much. But on another note I LOVE this build. Moving can be a stressful process, remembers to take time to take care of yourself.

Painted ceilings are wonderful... as long as you remove any popcorn texture. Popcorn ceilings absorb paint by the gallon. In fact, white ceilings are super dated. Wood ceilings are cool too. I ADORE tiled ceilings using copper or tin tiles or their vinyl contemporaries.

I painted my childhood/teen bedroom ceiling gold after watching Bridge to Terabithia and being in love with the gold walls they painted in the movie. I was genuinely heartbroken when I had to paint it white when my mom sold the house, I LOVED it and have been contemplating doing the bedroom ceiling gold in my own house too
Painted ceilings, YES... My bedroom has very light grey wall and a navy blue ceiling. It has a very luxe vibe.
I painted two of my ceilings so far. My bedroom walls are Starless Night by Behr, and the ceiling is Striking, also by behr. We sponged the striking down so it blends, and plan to get a wave light so it looks like we are sleeping underwater.
In my "dressing room" (bedroom I turned into a closet) three walls are Potters clay, and one wall and the ceiling are Complex Grey, both by Behr. Warm lighting makes it feel Super deserty, which suits the boho/Moroccan vibe I'm going for in there.
Definitely not for everyone, or all rooms. I would only do it in spaces that I want to be cozy and semi cavelike.
I painted my ceiling purple, but it got over the tape onto the upper walls a little, so wait for your walls to dry and hang a large sheet before painting your ceiling. btw love your videos dw my Pinterest is the same style. but cootles to you for actually being decisive.
I repainted our ceilings white because the place we moved into had weird stains on the ceiling. It was a textured ceiling and it was soooo frustrating because the texture meant paint didn’t roll on evenly. So I would only do it if you have a smooth ceiling.
I painted my ceiling a pale purple like pastel and it was really fun and made me happy every time i looked up. i also had pale purple walls, one wall was pale pink. but my deco was all gothy and the trim on all the windows and doors were black.
We painted our bedroom ceiling, it's honestly no different than painting a wall, super easy! Just use a pole extender for the roller brush and tape for the edges. We painted it like a dark terracotta with white walls and it's sooo cosy, feels like our little cave or something

For Halloween you should do a tiny house based on a Halloween movie like Caroline, corpse bride, monster house, etc. Or tiny houses based on like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, slander man maybe, etc.
As someone who has been researching bathroom remodeling & what not to do so you don't have problems down the road, *NO* wallpaper in bathrooms with showers or tubs. There's too much moisture going on in those spaces. You want an eggshell or semigloss, mold & mildew resistant paint & a really good ventilation system. The humidity in bathrooms with showers especially means wallpaper peels off the walls & creates the perfect environment for mold. If you have a half-bath, I would make that the super-ultra moody one with all the wallpaper & keep the bathroom with the shower as the tile heavy, fun, bright, bathroom. Penny tiles, subway tiles, etc. If the structure of the house will support the weight, tile the floor, the entire shower & tub area, & half way up the walls all around. The less porous surfaces in a high moisture environment the better! And avoid large scale tiles unless they're on the wall. They pose a slipping hazard IRL.

I put dark wallpaper up in my bathroom and the humidity destroyed it. Totally peeled off the walls within months! I just spent the weekend painting it orange and honestly, it's way more a vibe now anyway! Wallpaper in the bathroom is just for Pinterest apparently
