You should definitely try to react on their other songs: 1. The Guillotine (Part 1) 2. There's No Sympathy For The Dead 3. The Webs We Weave 4. Dragging Dead Bodies In Blue Bags Up Really Long Hills 5. When I Go Out, I Want To Go Out On A Chariot Of Fire 6. As You're Falling Down 7. Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche
What’s super cool is Ronnie actually was first discovered basically because he won a contest with Escape the Fate that My Chemical Romance was putting on and he also said in his earlier music My Chemical Romance was a big inspiration to him so it’s so sick to see how far he’s come he’s so musically and vocally talented it’s insane
Dying is your latest fashion is one of my all time favorite albums, and Situations is one of my favorite tracks off of that album. I'll definitely love this reaction man 💜💜💜
As far as past "cringe" honestly he owns it. Saw Falling in Reverse back in Feb and he said "I wrote these songs so I'm gonna play them" and proceeded to play Situations and Not Good Enough for the Truth in Cliché.
I think he meant that in the sense of the music tecnically being from another band, and copyright belonging to someone else. He mentioned in a stream that there are a few songs he hates the lyrics now and don't plan on singing them again. He didn't say which ones because "I don't want to ruin it for you if you like them"
My guy, if your gonna do Ronnie era ETF, highly recommend “my apocalypse” I remember hearing that song for the first time and getting chills everywhere. Good times! Edit: just went back and listened for the first time in YEARS and after all this time…. CHILLS
Dying Is Your Latest Fashion is one of the greatest albums from the early 2000s and still is to this day! I listen to it on the regular, I love it so damn much! You should live stream listening to the entire album, you will not be disappointed.
Love the caption "grown man hears" 😂 but yes youre right, this video is actually a tribute to hot for teacher!! This song and video brings back so many memories for me, Ahh good times! You should watch "Not good enough for truth in cliche" next. That was my fave when I was a teen. Id say these two are the biggest of Ronnies Etf songs. Great vid as always!!
Amazing song. You should react to the whole Dying Is Your Latest Fashion album. If not, at least "Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliche" or "My Apocalypse" they are *chef kiss* masterpieces.
Your gonna love ETF, I love Ronnie’s era, but as a musician Craig era is the one that influenced me the most. Listen to The Guillotine, there’s multiple parts to this. Then it’s This Wars Is Ours and The Aftermath both with Craig, the last part is with Falling In Reverse Guillotine IV
Just a little friendly reminder you have reacted to escape the fate before but, their song "one for the money" with craig mabbitt their current lead singer tho, ever since that I think a lot of us has wanted you check out the Ronnie era. i'm glad you did =)
The video is an homage to 80's rock videos, mainly Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher," including the kid getting on the bus intro. That's taken directly from that.
I personally started liking them with the song "not good enough for truth in cliché" after being replaced in the band he somewhat outgrew it, now arguably surpassed them. If a fire burns hot enough, you just can't extinguish it.
Escape The Fate!! One of the first bands that got me into metal and rock. I've been a metalhead since 2010... I'm goth, and a metalhead guy. I use to be super emo, I'm still kind of emo though. I was super emo/scene in 2009, there are two vocalists from Escape The Fate, Ronnie Radke (Ex Vocalist), Craig Mabbit (Current Vocalist) got into ETF during Craig Mabbit's era. It's not a phase for me, all it does for me is make me miss these days more, and more.. I'm mostly into Technical Death Metal, Black Metal, Progressive Metal and Extreme Metal, but I always go back to these days to relieve my memories, Emo isn't dead, it only is if your a poser, or you allow it to be.. neither is punk, metal, or Goth Rock.. 🎸🎸🎃❄️
Director: Ronnie, how many strippers do you want? Ronnie: Yes. This is a straight homage to Hot For Teacher. Ronnie has also said that he considers FIR’s first album, The Drug in Me is You, a follow up album to ETF’s DIYLF. Ronnie still does this song and Not Good Enough For Truth in Cliche in concert to this day. As he says “these are my fucking songs”.
Wish they would've played Situations and Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliche when I saw them at the Q Casino in Dubuque, Iowa back in August of this year. It was still an amazing show. Only band I missed out on was Bad Wolves but that's because the line was so long and Bad Wolves only played 7 songs with the new singer.
Yeah definitely need to explore more ETF as well as some of their stuff AFTER Ronnie to compare. They were one of my favorite bands as a teen and have a GREAT discography!
Big throwback for me, this was my first introduction to the alternative scene even though I was already into Green Day at the time, but I mainly listened to country and classic rock. This is what got me into the heavier stuff. But after this I looked into FIR who is signed to Epitaph and found Parkway Drive and from their I discovered Deathcore and Grindcore. So this definitely makes feel nostalgic for sure.
If youre doin old ETF you gotta do Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche! one of my all time favs. I will always have a special place for Ronnie in my heart.
Definitely a throwback! Also since you mentioned My Chemical Romance I'm pretty sure Escape The Fate won a radio competition that was judged by My Chemical Romance back in the day.
This was the first song I heard by escape the fate I fell in love after I was in middle school when my older brother got me into this type of music so it’s a big throwback and it’s what made me become a metal/pop punk fan in the first place bought this album then their 1st album with Craig as their lead singer
You need to check out more older Escape the Fate songs, now. Honestly, the whole Dying is Your Latest Fashion album is a banger. Any reaction to any songs from that album will be cool.
Oh man i haven't heard this song in years and yes the nostalgia when i was a teenage emo boy hit me hard. This reminded me of happier and simpler times, you should check more of their stuff!
Would love if you'd listen to his other older songs! Ronnie has been one of my favorite singers since he first came on the scene when I was a teenager. :)
Pop punk going Motley crue that's the perfect description dude! Early Falling in reverse was similar to this style which I'll always have a hot spot for
The opening song of this album the webs we weave is still one of my all time favourite album intros and while not a single it is one of my favourite ETF songs
saw them in late January of this year and Ronnie was so surprised we knew this one and Not Good Enough for the Truth in Cliche!! they are so much fun....just another side of Ronnie!!! 🤘🎶💖
So dropping my favourites, that you might one day will listen to: Massacre Just a memory Lost in darkness 10 miles wide My apocalypse One for the money This war is ours
Another great video bud! Love ya! Always helping me enjoy my day, throw my depression in the garbage, and discover new music. Check out Tori Amos, “Yes, Anastasia” or, “In a Gadda Davida” by Iron Butterfly.
Can you please do Escape the Fate - My Apocalypse! Its their best song in my opinion. Also check out something with Ronnie's replacement Craig Mabbit. As much as i love Ronnie he really brought their sound together. Great reaction 💙
So I am not sure if anyone has continued from what Alex said soooo - this music video is a HUUUUGE call to the music video for Van Halens song “Hot For Teacher” ! The intro is spot on and than the video is just tweaked so it's made to be more modern + fit the song/band . I highly recommend watching Van Halens video bc it is a TRIP hahaha plus seeing the comparison is always so fun
This brings back memories, another good one is Ten Miles Wide - Or if you're looking for something different check out "Currents - Kill The Ache", you will not be disappointed either way.
You should react to Von Raven - The moment you die(Norway) Pagan's mind - God's Equation(Norway) Serj Tankian - Harakiri System of a Down - Boom! Corey Taylor - Spit it out(acoustic) Alestorm - The sunk'n Norwegian(Scotland) Rammstein - Keine Lust Audrey Horne - Redemption Blues(Norway, support: for Stone Sour in 2012) Volbeat - Evelyn Stone Sour - 30/30 - 150 Brainstorm - Falling Spiral Down(Germany) Lordi - Hard Rock Hallelujah(Finland MGP winner 2006) Korpiklaani - levan Polka (Finland) AC/DC - Rock N Roll Train(live at River Plate 09) Requinox - Raiders of the Holy Island(Norway) Nemesis - The War is On(Serbia) Sinsaenum - Splendor and Agony Satyricon - Black Crow on a Tombstone(Norway) Amon Amarth - Cry of the Black Birds Okilly Dokilly - White Wine Spritzer(they dress-up as Ned Flanders) Dreampilots - Comedown(Norway, not metal, but worth a listen) Disturbed - Darkness Gorgoroth - Carving a giant(Norway) Amy Lee - Kyle quit the band Tenacious D cover Iron Maiden - Empire of the Clouds(lyrics video) Heaven and Hell - The Devil You Know(album) Scars on Broadway - Scars on Broadway (Album)
The more I listen to them the style reminds me of the early Poison, early Bon Jovy, early Pantera but more "up to date" version. And that's a good thing. 😉😂🆗
I remember watching this when I was 13 years old in 2007 and I still have the same reaction till this day. Also, I thought the same that the music video reminded me Hot For A Teacher by Van Halen. So nostalgic for me now that I’m almost 30.
I knew I recognized him! My mom showed me Falling in Reverse the other night and I thought they were okay (will listen to more later when I have time) but I thought the guy looked familiar I just thought maybe I had seen him on tv or in a movie or something lol I used to love this song forgot all about it so much nostalgia!!! haha
You should definitely try to react on their other songs:
1. The Guillotine (Part 1)
2. There's No Sympathy For The Dead
3. The Webs We Weave
4. Dragging Dead Bodies In Blue Bags Up Really Long Hills
5. When I Go Out, I Want To Go Out On A Chariot Of Fire
6. As You're Falling Down
7. Not Good Enough for Truth in Cliche
Friends and Alibis is a top one for me
Don't forget My Apocalypse and The Ransom!
#5 on your list an absolute banger
Can’t forget Cellar Door
Not good enough for truth in the cliche is heaps good too
What’s super cool is Ronnie actually was first discovered basically because he won a contest with Escape the Fate that My Chemical Romance was putting on and he also said in his earlier music My Chemical Romance was a big inspiration to him so it’s so sick to see how far he’s come he’s so musically and vocally talented it’s insane
Very true..
He's also an egomaniac and thats what stunts his music.
You're also listening to a song off the first album.. and no other escape the fate album sounds like it.
@@nocentz4656 wa wa wa😭
@@nocentz4656 that's cause there's a different vocalist after first escape the fate album so it's not Ronnie singing.. duh 🤦♂️
Dying is your latest fashion is one of my all time favorite albums, and Situations is one of my favorite tracks off of that album. I'll definitely love this reaction man 💜💜💜
Found the album when i was 10 and even 15 years later, i still listen to it. It's a masterpiece of an album
As far as past "cringe" honestly he owns it. Saw Falling in Reverse back in Feb and he said "I wrote these songs so I'm gonna play them" and proceeded to play Situations and Not Good Enough for the Truth in Cliché.
I was lucky enough to see the FIR tour where they played Dying in its entirety before playing their regular set, super fucking cool show
I think he meant that in the sense of the music tecnically being from another band, and copyright belonging to someone else.
He mentioned in a stream that there are a few songs he hates the lyrics now and don't plan on singing them again. He didn't say which ones because "I don't want to ruin it for you if you like them"
@619Slipk If I remember correctly Ronnie patched things up with Craig so might be some of the early FIR tracks that trashed Craig like Tragic Magic
I totally agree, he has all rights to sing this songs in the way he likes
Personally I absolutely LOVE his sense of humor and that they did an omage to "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen!! CLASSIC
My guy, if your gonna do Ronnie era ETF, highly recommend “my apocalypse” I remember hearing that song for the first time and getting chills everywhere. Good times!
Edit: just went back and listened for the first time in YEARS and after all this time…. CHILLS
I couldn't agree more! That song is incredible!
Definitely one of their bests and a super different track from this one
Such an underrated banger
Dying Is Your Latest Fashion is one of the greatest albums from the early 2000s and still is to this day! I listen to it on the regular, I love it so damn much! You should live stream listening to the entire album, you will not be disappointed.
Also if you haven’t already Alex you should totally check out “Not good enough for truth in cliché” By Escape The Fate Ronnie era 🖤🤘🏼

Yes!!..There's like one or two reactions for that on YT. Both not great, would love Alex to do Not Good Enough...
Amazing song. You should react to the whole Dying Is Your Latest Fashion album. If not, at least "Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliche" or "My Apocalypse" they are *chef kiss* masterpieces.
Don't leave out Escape the Fate with Craig, either! "This War Is Ours," "Ungrateful," and "Picture Perfect" are truly great tracks!
i cry everytime i hear picture perfect
I second Ungrateful
Don't forget the flood, city of cin, gorgeous nightmare, 10 miles wide, issues, Ashley, something, you are so beautiful!
Ungrateful is MUSTLISTEN
Alex we need to see your reaction to ungrateful
Dude you really just need to react to the whole album at this point. This is honestly the only song that sounds like this on the album.

I agree
DO THEM ALL IN ONE YOU GOTTA

If a fire burns hot enough, you just can't extinguish it.
You gotta hear this war is ours by escape the fate one of the best song by far from them
They got some bangers. Their first 5 albums are all 🔥🔥🔥
Man.... Great Timing! I Love how Alex are Reacting to my Favorite things..
Damn.. sophomore year of high school just smacked me in the feels.
It’s crazy to see how far Ronnie has come since then
He still plays this live every now and then. He played it at the Inkcarceration festival this year with FIR. Great nostalgia.
Escape The Fate!! One of the first bands that got me into metal and rock. I've been a metalhead since 2010... I'm goth, and a metalhead guy. I use to be super emo, I'm still kind of emo though. Love this, it’s where I first fell in love with Ronnie along with the song and video for Not Good Enough for the Truth in Cliche
It is so funny how long I’ve been waiting for this reaction!!! 🎉😂❤
It’s so funny seeing everyone so young. Rob still looks identical though.
HOLY. SHIT. MORE FROM THIS ALBUM. Top five favorite albums of all time.
Bro you are so next level. Let’s go!
"my apocalypse" or "not good enough for truth in cliche" by escape the fate (when ronnie was a member) are great ones to check out too!
One of my favorite ETF songs with Ronnie is "Not good enough for truth in cliche"
Please check out more Fit For a King. I recommend either"When everything means nothing " or "backbreaker"

"My apocalypse" is to this day is my favorite song. Please check it out next
First time I heard this song was 11th grade, my best friend a few months after we met in PE introduced it to me. I fell in love 😩❤
That entire album is solid front to back.
Ronnie openly makes fun of this part of his life😂🤣
I definitely think you should listen to their song My Apocalypse! It’s one of my favorites :D
Can you please do Escape the Fate - My Apocalypse! Its their best song in my opinion. Also check out something with Ronnie's replacement Craig Mabbit. As much as i love Ronnie he really brought their sound together. Great reaction 💙

Keep listening to ETF. Maybe 1 song from each album. Very different energy but Craig is good. Really good!
Wow it’s a modern day Hot For Teacher remake. Love Ronnie.
