@@AdorableApricot I think 0.75x does it, too, but there's a bubbliness to the 1.75x that I think makes the melancholy a bit more delicate, and more 'almost there' (masked), at least from my perspective. I think 1.5x doesn't quite have that bubbliness, while 2x is too fast to enjoy and Alice's softer voice tends to blend or fade at that speed. For me, 1.75x just hits that sweet spot, a little reminiscent of the Dakota remix of Jonas Blue's "Fast Car" cover. Then again I don't usually modify the speed of songs, for some reason I did for this cover and 1.75x makes me want to make a cinematic roadtrip or relationship video montage. To each their own, though, and it's great either way! 🤷
