TRIBUNE NEWS (Oct. 17, 2024) - A heated exchange erupted today between a congressman and a former undersecretary of the Department of Education (DepEd) during a hearing by the Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability of the House of Representatives (HOR).
To the face of former undersecretary Epimaco Densing III, Surigao del Sur Rep. Johnny Pimentel boldly said that the former is a "very corrupt person and a scalawag in the public service."
Sensing, who served as head of the School Infrastructure and Facilities (SIF) under then DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte, denied Pimentel's claims.
